0.8 Misery Business

SIENNA SHOVED THE LAST FEW SKETCHES IN HER BAG, the crumbling sound filling the silence in her room. She had taken longer than usual to go meet Isaac at the graveyard she didn't know why she decided to fix her make up when it was already dark nor did she know if he was going to be there.

She just needed to get this new information off her chest and since graveyard boy (Isaac, she still isn't comfortable with the fact he's real) had probably lived in Beacon for some time, he would know more about the Hale fire hopefully.

She put on her leather jacket, grabbing her bag and carefully living her bedroom certain that Scott and Melissa would have been a sleep. It was a school night and she knew she wouldn't be aloud to go anywhere at such an hour but that never did stop Sienna McCall.

Just when she was about to reach the second step of the stairs after successfully walking past Scotts and Melissa's room, a loud crash startled her causing her to jump back in horror.

Her eyes widen when the noise was followed by a shriek and a thump. Instantly her black boots rushed to the direction of Scott's room not thinking twice about swinging his room door open only for a sinking feeling in her stomach erupt in fear and confusion.

Sienna's eyes widen when met with the familiar green eyes that reflected back into her brown ones, her eyes traveling to his hands wrapped around a terrified Scott's neck.

"What the hell!" Sienna exclaimed a frightened look replacing her features.

From what she was told by Derek on the night of the party. Derek and Scott were friends but the view in front of her said otherwise.

His hand was tightly wrapped around Scott's neck. In instinct she brought her only defence on her right now out of her leather jacket, quickly approaching him whilst spraying the content in his face although most of it accidently stung Scott's eyes too indicating in both Derek and Scott to fall down in pain.

"Let him go you psycho!" Sienna dropped to the floor beside Scott her boots hitting Derek in the face.

"You should have gotten out of the way Scott." Sienna in her way apologised to Scott as he covered his eyes in agony from the burning substance that made his eyes water, really what Sienna was muttering was how she was sorry for being reckless.

Once Sienna took a quick glance behind her, her brows furrowed at the absence of Derek who not long ago occupied the place in the same pain as Scott. Her eyes travelled to the open window that let a rush of breeze rushing in letting her know he had somehow escaped from there.

Scott rubbed at his now blood shot red eyes, sending Sienna an incredulous look which Sienna innocently smiled at. "Pepper spray, really?"

Sienna shrugged, pushing herself of the ground. "Dad gave it to me for self-defence and you should be lucky I wasted it on you."

Scott quickly pushed himself up using his wall as guidance as he rushed off to his bathroom, Sienna eyes following his dramatic movements responding in her rolling her eyes.

"Why was Derek here anyways?" She questioned whilst leaning on the door frame watching as her brother washed his eyes furiously.

At that Scott immediately froze, his head snapping at Sienna direction making the other McCall surprised he didn't get a whiplash.

"How do you know Derek?" Scott asked, becoming more serious as he gave her pointed look making Sienna shift uncomfortably.

"He picked me up from the party, he said he was your friend." Sienna responded swallowing hard knowing what he was going to say next wasn't going to be good. "Well sort of." Sienna whispered referring to what happened not long ago, she thought she didn't have to be shaken up since they were friends but the look on Scott's face told her otherwise.

Scott dropped the white towel in his hand, his eyes fixated on Sienna's brown ones which were identical to his ones, he walked closer to her letting her know what he was about to say was serious.

"Derek is not my friend, Sienna." He spoke steadily making sure she would understand.

Sienna just sighed, her hands falling down at her side. "Gosh, you are so dramatic." Sienna rambled on not realising the seriousness in Scott's voice even though she had a gut feeling what Scott was saying was true she didn't want to believe that her reckless actions got her in trouble again.

"And by the way your crazy girlfriend was the one who practically suggested it." Sienna spoke moving into the middle of his room, her arms folded as her bag swung around her catching Scott's gaze that when Sienna realised she had totally blown her cover.

"Where are you going?" The teen wolf questioned noticing how his sister looked like she was off to a party even though it was her usual wear that consisted with nothing of colour.

Sienna blinked her teeth baring as she tried to find something else to say. "You never told me what is going on with Derek?" Once Scott's facial expression changed Sienna knew she was successful.

"I don't need to explain why, just know that Derek Hale is not my friend and you should stay away from him."

Sienna eyes widen once his name slipped out of Scott's mouth, the teen wolf noticing it started to worry. "Did you say Hale?"

Scott nodded slowly, quickly regretting his next words. "Yeah." He drawls watching her reaction closely.

"Interesting." Sienna commented, her mind already joining dots the man in the hospital, she couldn't help but feel like she was in some type of show were all these mysteries and plot twists were left for her to solve.

Sienna turned her heel to leave wanting to do a little more research.

"And Sienna you can't leave?" Scott revealed watching as her face scrunched up.

"Why?"

"Because were on lockdown, after that party mo-Melissa has us on lockdown meaning the doors and windows are alarmed." Scott answered, stepping back as Sienna glared at him. He was still wary of her, ever since he found the sketches he still kind of thought she was an imposter but she must be a good one since she looked exactly like him in a much cooler and female way.

The other McCall pierced her plumped lips together nodding her head slowly what was unknown to Scott was that Sienna was rapidly making various ideas in her head to get out of the house but this also meant that Sienna was lazy to actually go through with it. Sienna had lost all motivation to go to her graveyard boy although she still hoped to get answers.

Her eyes travelled down to Scotts laptop screen to be met by Stiles. "Just a question, how many times do you call Scott on a bluff."

Stiles who was still in shock responded. "Many times girl McCall, many times."

Patience wasn't something Sienna had, or ever owned especially when she realised Scott wasn't bluffing about the windows being alarmed.

With her bottom lip between her teeth and her chocolate brown eyes narrowing at the locker she was waiting to be occupied for at least two minutes the teen was tempted to rip her red locks out.

"Take a picture princess it lasts longer." Sienna barely registered who blurred her vision of the locker before she replied.

"Please, I'm queen." She replied, soon her eyes were locked with blue ones but not the ones she was hoping for. "Ugh, it's you. Have nothing better to than stare at yourself?" She remarked, turning from him.

Jackson chuckled at her statement, quickly following her. The Whittemore boy couldn't lie and had to admit he found Sienna interesting even though she was a pain to be around. "Actually yes, I realised I'd rather be staring at you." Jackson replied sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

Sienna turned to the lacrosse jock, faking a pout."Aww someone finally told your pretty face doesn't equal skill."

"You think I'm pretty." Jackson mocked, his head tilting to the side. Sienna rolled her walking away from him not surprised that's all he heard.

"I think you need a mace." Sienna replied glancing at Jackson's puzzled expression. "To be dropped on your head."

"Hey no need to be violent, all I did was come up to you and welcome the new girl to Beacon Hills high." He replied whilst motioned his hand around the school as if he owned it.

Sienna couldn't even register what he was even saying considering the fact her mind still flooded with where Isaac was. "You know Isaac Lahey right."

Jackson frowned realising she didn't hear anything about his speech owning the school. "Yeah sure, neighbour, he's on the team. Not as good as me, obviously."

Sienna blinked at him actually wanting a serious answer from him before scoffing. "Sorry I couldn't hear you over the size of your ego."

"Why are you so mean to me?" Jackson couldn't remember the last time he actually had this much fun and laughed. He particularly liked annoying Sienna.

"Have you met yourself-you know whatever. Wait did you say he's your neighbour, does that mean you can tell me where he lives?" Sienna questioned, she had been waiting all English lesson for Isaac to show up and he didn't and she even took her time to ask around where his locker is to see if he'd show up and again he was absent.

"So you could hear me."

"Whittemore-"

"No." Jackson simply deadpanned turning away from the reckless teen with a smug smile on his face as he left Sienna dumbfounded.

"What do you mean no?" Now Sienna had been the one to follow him.

"I mean no."

"Why can't you tell me where he lives?" Sienna snapped, pushing people through the crowed hall not noticing the stern look of a strawberry blonde.

"Because I know you're just asking so you know where I live. I know you like me but I don't want you stalking me and covering the fact with a lame excuse like Lahey."

Sienna's eyes widen as she turned to see people heard him making her cheeks burn nearly the colour of her dip dyed hair.

"That wasn't- that isn't." Sienna never felt more livid then in Jackson's presence and wanted nothing more than to slap the smug look of his face.

"McCall." Sienna shot up at the unexpected call of her name, turning to see everyone's favourite coach. Let just say when two very sarcastic people clash it doesn't turn out so well.

"Finstock." Sienna replied, shaking off the embarrassment and anger she felt not long ago.

Coach didn't even bother to comment on her tone, knowing it would only take forever for Sienna to stop snapping back with say comments of her own. "Where the hell is your brother, he has practice."

Sienna's brows furrowed, her hand folding across her chest. If she had to be honest she was pretty sure Scott was avoiding her especially since last night, he even left early this morning "I don't know isn't he in school."

"Would I be asking if he was already here." Coach bit his tongue noticing his mistake and before Sienna could open her mouth and reply with a snarky comment of her own he quickly interrupted her. "Just find him and let him know, if he does this again he won't be in first line for too long."

"Wait, Scott's in first line." Sienna couldn't help but find it hysterical that her clumsy twin could even play sports although it wasn't the only unexplained characteristic about him.

"J-just tell him, God." Coach exasperated, leaving her with incoherent words falling from his lips.

Sienna chuckled as much as she fought with coach, she would find his lessons to be amusing and no matter be the one she couldn't wait for. His first impression of her was priceless and Sienna had a feeling she wasn't going to stop digging under his skin anytime soon. Although nothing could beat Mr Harris's reaction when he found out there was another McCall.

Just as Sienna was about to turn away another curly haired tall figure was doing the same, leaving both of them to crash into each other (which seemed like a daily routine in all honesty). Sienna was just about to let out a string of curse words until her eyes met an innocent crystal blue only making her heart leap and sighing in relief.

"Isaac." She breathed out, glad that she found him. He seemed to be coming out of the library with all the books he held with a frightened look in his eye.

Isaac looked panicked though and quickly helped pick her bag up and apologise continuously nervously which Sienna didn't reply to because she didn't care.

"I was looking for you all day." Sienna cut Isaac's mini rant off, taking her bag from him.

Isaac quickly went from being scared and nervous to being confused, his facial expression reminding Sienna of a puppy.

"Y-You were looking for me?" Isaac question like she said the most idiotic thing he could imagine.

"Yeah, is something wrong?" Sienna questioned, now noticing how shaken up he looked. She noticed his tired eyes and messy curly hair and the way his clothes looked scruffy. Her eyes travelled back to the library then too Isaac who looked like he just woken up." Where were you all day?"

Isaac nervously walked over to his locker, Sienna following behind him as he took quick glances around the school hallway. "I w-was in the library." He replied his voice quivering, shoving different books into his lockers.

He didn't one to have to tell Sienna, who he found cool and definitely out of his league and very very pretty as he like to describe her about how he slept in the school's library because his dad decided he wasn't good enough.

Sienna started to feel like she was annoying him and couldn't help but become worried by his shaken appearance. "I-Is something wrong, should I leave." Sienna was never one to care or even feel when someone wasn't ok or not and if they weren't it never bothered her. Her whole life she came across people who like or disliked her but mostly people did like her and the people that didn't never had a good enough excuse for her to feel bad but she never understood if they liked her like they said they did, why she was always left behind.

Isaac's glassy eyes widen at Sienna, like her statement was stupid, he didn't want her to leave. Actually he would rather her company right now. "No I don't want you to leave, that's ridiculous." He muttered turning back to his locker as he forced it to lock up.

Sienna didn't expect him to say that and felt her cheeks burn the second time that day as she looked to the floor so she could avoid his gaze when he turned around.

"Why were you looking for me?" Isaac questioned turning back to a flustered Sienna.

Quickly composing herself, the McCall finally responded. "I was wondering if you could help me with something." Now that Sienna thought about it, her idea seemed stupid. After she tells him what she thinks she knows is wrong with and Beacon Hills, he'd probably look at her like she was crazy. She barely knew Isaac, she even felt like she knew the graveyard boy more than him even if they were the same person.

She felt the need to tell graveyard boy her newfound information but not Isaac. If that made any sense. Sienna was just becoming a whole ball of messed up.

"Lahey!, practice now." The teens reacted at the alarming sound of coach's voice making Isaac sigh in disappointment.

"You know what it doesn't even matter, you would think I'm crazy. Sorry to bother you" Sienna's confident had run down rapidly before she could process maybe it was the reason she ran away.

She began to miss her old self, the New York Sienna. Who only cared for two things, if the alcohol was good at the party and when she could drink enough that she didn't have to feel and not how the boy next door made her feel or how Jackson made her blood boil. Especially how her 'family' acted like they wanted her when she knew they were waiting to kick her to the curb like everyone else had done.
