Jay wrapped his arms around your waist. Kissing your neck, as you cut the carrots.
"Jay, I'm cutting the carrots," You stated. Trying to focus on cutting the carrots, but Jay was distracting you.
"So, you can multitask," He replied. Looking at you smugly. You turned around to look at him.
Jay pressed his lips against yours passionately. Making you moan into the kiss. Still cutting the carrots, only the knife cut your finger. Making you pull away from Jay's lips.
"Ouch," You yelped out. Eyes filling up with teas. Looking at your finger as blood pooled out of it. Feeling slightly sick at the sight of blood oozing out of your finger. Your stomach-turning. Heart thumping wildly.
"Oh god, I need stitches," You gasped out. Jay grabbed a tea towel. Wrapping it around your finger. Putting pressure on your wound.
"Hey, it's okay," Jay cooed.
"It's not okay, I hate hospitals and I have to get stitches," You gasped out. Jay's other hand cupped the side of your face. Turning your head to look him in his eyes.
"Let me text Will, okay, he can come over here, and take a look at it," Jay spoke. As you nodded your head up and down vigorously.
Jay let go of the side of your face. Taking his mobile phone out of his pocket. Still putting pressure on your finger. As he typed out a message to Will with his other hand. Jay glanced at you seeing you shaking like a leaf. The sound of a messaging pinging made Jay look away from you looking at the screen. 'I'm on my way,'
"He is on his way," Jay spoke. Putting his phone on the counter. Jay turned his attention to you.
"Do you think my finger will have to be amputated off?" You asked voice full of worry. Jay stared at you for a minute, trying his best not to roll his eyes.
"No, at best it will probably need stitches," He responded, not that you listened.
"What if I hit the bone, or cut an artery, oh my god," You gasped out. Slightly feeling faint.
Jay quickly helped you sit on a chair. Kneeling in front of you. Still putting pressure on your cut.
"Y/n, try and breathe," Jay calmly spoke.
"Okay," You choked out. Trying to control your rapid breathing.
Jay breathed in and out, making you copy him. It sort of helped. Till you heard the sound of knocks coming at his door. Your eyes widening in fear.
"Come in," Jay called out. Not leaving your side. Jay's other hand rested on the side of your face. His thumb caressing your cheek.
"Hey guys," Will spoke, as he entered the room. Jay made no attempt to move his eyes still locked on yours.
"She cut her finger," Jay spoke.
"Ah, let me take a look," Will spoke, kneeling beside Jay. As he put on disposals gloves Will smiled pleasantly at you, as your eyes shifted away from Jay and onto Will. You looked back at Jay giving him a nervous look. Will put his bag down beside him.
Jay gave you a look of encouragement. You gave Jay then Will a weak smile. Nodding your head. Jay took his hand away from the side of your face.
Jay carefully unwrapped the tea towel from your finger. You hissed as the air hit your wound. Slightly gulping at the sight of your blood on the tea towel. Will looked at your wound. Taking a hold of your hand to get a better look. Making you even more nervous. You gave Jay a worried glance, while he looked at you with a look of encouragement. His hand reaching out to grab your hand. Interlacing his fingers with yours.
"It doesn't look too bad, the bleeding has stopped, though you do need stitches," Will spoke. Making you glance at Jay with a look of fear in your eyes.
"It's okay, y/n," Jay reassured you.
Will let go of your hand. Opening his bag up. He took out gauze pads as well as an antiseptic. Opening the cap on the antiseptic and pouring some onto the gauze pad.
"This is going to sting," Will warned you. You let out a hiss as he pressed the gauze pad onto your wound. Cleaning the cut. As you tighten your grip on Jay's hands.
Will discarded the used gauze pad into a hazard bag. Your eyes widen in fear as you saw Will take out a needle. You looked at Jay. Slightly shaking.
"Baby, it's okay, just breathe, in and out," He spoke softly, trying to calm you.
"I'm going to give you a tetanus shot," Will spoke. Not giving you time to think or panic, as he put the needle into your skin. Making you let out a yelp.
Will discarded the needle, putting it into a hazard bag. Will took out a needle and thread. Making you look at jay in fear, as Will prepared the stitches.
"I'm going to be as gentle as I can, just hold your hand still," He spoke. As you nodded your head yes. Fear in your eyes. Gulping rapidly.
Will gently stitched the cut on your finger. Going as delicately as he could. You winced every time the needle pierced your skin. Tears pricking your eyes.
Will finally finished stitching your wound up. Also, discarding the needle and thread he used into the hazard bag. As well as his gloves. He quickly zipped his bag up.
"How do you feel?" Jay asked, the pads of his thumbs wiping away your tears before they could fall. You stared at your finger, which had stitches in it.
"You are going to have to come into the hospital in fourteen days, to remove the stitches," Will spoke.
You stared at Will in fear. While Jay gave Will an annoyed look. Both of them seemed to have a silent conversation.
"I'll come here in fourteen days," Will spoke again. Giving you a reassuring smile. You gave him a weak smile.
Will looked around the apartment, noticing the intimate setting. The wine on the table, with two wine glasses half full of wine. Will smirked. Getting up and grabbing his bag.
Will's hand clasped around Jay's shoulder, making Jay look away from you and up at Will. Who was smiling down at Jay.
"I'll leave you two lovebirds to it," Will smirked. Giving Jay and you a smug look. While Jay gave Will a pleading look. Begging him to keep it on the down-low.
"Bye, and thanks for coming," Jay spoke, not leaving your side.
"Bye, Will, thanks for helping," You spoke softly. Making Will smile.
"No problem, nice seeing you again," Will spoke, as he left Jay's place.
"Are you okay?" Jay asked. His thumb caressing your jawline. Eyes looking intently into your eyes. Looking for any signs of distress, discomfort, pain.
"I'm fine, just a little shaken up, and hungry," You responded. Giving him a genuine smile. Jay smiled softly at you. Feeling grateful you were alright.
"Do you want me to prepare dinner or do you want to order takeout?" Jay asked.
"Takeout, you pick, " You responded. Making Jay smile.
"Okay," He replied. Closing the space between the two of you. His lips pressing softly against yours. Taking your breath away.
Jay pulled away a minute later.
"Go pick a movie, and I'll order takeout," He spoke. Pressing his forehead against yours. As you nodded your head in agreement.
"Or we could binge my favourite show?" You bargained, as Jay pulled away. Giving you a flirtatious look as he got up walking over to his phone, ordering takeout. It felt like butterflies were flying in your stomach as you stared at him...
