It has been a week... A week full of struggles and tries to get Aryan to open up. A week full of ignorance from Ahana towards Neil. A week full of recovery for Neil. In this week a lot has happened. Neil and Ahana tried mostly everything they could to help Aryan but no change happened. They haven't told anybody about his problem either. Neil had Also recovered from his injuries and had tried multiple times to get Ahana to talk but she would get out of it some way or another.
Ahana:(Entering the room to see Neil sitting on the bed going through his laptop )"No change Neil. It's been a week and no improvement"
Neil:"I think we should tell everyone and take him to the doctor."(they sat in silence for few mins before Ahana spoke up)
Ahana:"I.. I..think I have something which could work. I actually had it from the beginning but I didn't want to do it because I.. I just couldn't "
Neil:"What is it Ahana?"
Ahana:"I..what if we recreate that day."
Neil:"What!"
Ahana:"I know Neil. This will be hard for everyone including me, But if Aryan re-lives that day maybe..Maybe he will open up a out it and we can assure him you are safe as all of it would be fake."
Neil:"Ahana...th...I don't know. What if this plan doesn't work"
Ahana:"We have to try Neil. If we want our son back, we have to try."
Neil:"But how. How will we recreate that day"
Ahana:"Our family members. They will help us. We just have to set up a play for him. And you and I will be there with him while other act it out. We will lead him through it"
Neil:"Alright. But we can't have Naira aur Ansh there. I don't want them to see it. especial Naira."
Ahana:"They won't. I'll ask Prabha maa to take them out for the day"
Neil:(Sighs)"Alright let's try this final Attempt"
Ahana:"Hopefully everything works out. I can't see my baby like that "
After few hours, Neil send the kids with Sameer and Ryan to play video games in their room while they called everyone else in the hall to discuss this.
Rahul:"What's the matter Neil?"
Neil:"Dad we need to tell you something "
Ahana:"It's regarding Aryan."
Neil:"That day..when Aryan..Aryan got kidnapped...he.."
Ahana:"He was traumatized.. from that night he is having nightmares and he is..bedwetting "
Angali:"Oh my god. Why...why didn't you tell us earlier "
Ahana:"maa we haven't even told him that we know."
Neil:"We wanted him to open up to us. We hoped that if he stayed in a normal environment he would recover but no improvement occure. We even tried few tactics to solve his problem but no change"
Shruti :"Ahana don't worry he will be fine. We can consult a doctor or a counselor"
Preeti:"Yeah bhabhi I have a friend who is a specialist in this"
Ahana:"Not yet. I ..we want to try one more time before we push him into doctor and all that. We want him to open up by himself and not be forced by a stranger or so"
Neil:"we need you help"
Sid:"Yeah bhai. Tell us what we can help you with"
Ahana:"We have to recreate that day. The kidnapping and the shooting everything. We have to make a play. "
Angali:"Ahana he..how can we go though that again"(Ahana moves towards her and holds her hands)
Ahana:"I know it's hard maa but reliving it can help him get through the trauma. We will be there to assure him that he is safe and that was the past."
Angali:"I..I don't know "
Rahul:"Angali, Ahana and Neil are Aryan's parents. They won't do anything to hurt their kids. I am with both of you. And everyone here will help you "
Neil/Ahana:"Thank you papa"
Rohan:"So then what's the plan"
Ahana:"Well so far we think we can...."(Ahana and Neil discuss how they will execute the plan and what roles everyone plays in this plan)
The day passed in a jiff and it was around 5 in the evening. Ahana had Called sanjeev and Prabha and explained everything to them. They came around that time and took Naira and Ansh out to the Park.
Aryan:"Mumma why can't I go with them?"
Ahana:"Well baby if you go with them then what will happen to the surprise I planned for you."
Aryan:(Excitedly )"Surprise!?"
Ahana:"yes..We are gonna watch a play. "
Aryan:"Play?"
Ahana:"Yeah your dadu dadi chachu chachi taiji tauji all made a play for you."
Aryan:"Let's go na then"(He said pulling her)
Ahana:(Laughs)"Okay okay let's go"(They entered the hall area where the furniture was cleared. A couch was set facing an open area. Neil was their telling sid something stopped seeing Aryan. He looked up at Ahana who nodded.)
Neil:"So champ ready for the play"
Aryan:"Yes.."
Neil:"Great then common let's settle down"(Aryan along with Ahana and Neil sat on the couch.)
Neil signaled Sid who dims the light and puts a spot light on the stage area. Ahana side hugs Aryan while Neil holds Aryan's hands.
Ahana:"Baby remember we are right here next to you"
Neil:"Until we both will always protect you okay"(Aryan looked at both of them confused but nodded as the play started)
Sameer came up dressed as Aryan while Ryan came up dresses as Ansh. They both waved at Aryan and mimicked their respective characters causing Aryan to giggle. Ahana and Neil gave a small smile seeing Aryan. The play progress as Sid comes dressed as Kunal. Ahana and Neil felt Aryan stiffen a little.
The light dim then open back to another scene where the action took place. Sameer and Ryan stood hugging Shruti who was dressed as Ahana from the kidnapping day. Next to them stood Rohan dressed as Neil who was talking to Sid who was being held by Preeti and Angali as they acted like inspectors. Rahul stood near them dressed as the ACP.
Ahana grip tighten on Aryan as the flashbacks come in her head. She feels a hand on her shoulder and looks to see Neil looking at her worried. She shakes her head as they both look at Aryan who was looking terrified. He was almost shaking but Ahana and Neil didn't leave him for even a second.
The scene progressed as Sid slightly pushed Preeti and took out a fake gun pointing at Shruti. Rohan came in front of Shruti. Ahana and Neil looked tensed at Aryan who was literally shaking and murmuring" no no no" Suddenly Aryan pushed Neil's and Ahana's hands away from him and stood up yelling.
Aryan:(Terrified and yelling )"NOOOOO!"
He ran towards the stage and pushed Sid causing him to drop the toy gun and stumble but Angali and Preeti held him. Everyone looked shocked at this as Aryan hugs Rohan.
Aryan:"No..no..papa...you.. can't go...no..I won't...papa ...papa you safe na..papa I...you are not hurt..papa..I.. I love you..nothing will happen to you..I won't lose you ...mumma left but you can't...no..I.. "(He talked hiccuping in between. Everyone had tears in their eyes. Ahana was crying seeing her little kid so broken while Neil froze when he heard about Aarti from Aryan. Rohan who was trying calm Aryan down looked at Neil)
Ahana:(Seeing Neil frozen, She slowly kept her hand on his shoulder )"He needs you Neil."(Neil came out of his thoughts and rushed towards Aryan)
Neil:"Aryan, Champ"(He called Sitting down on his knees )
Aryan:(looks at Neil)"Pa..papa"(He hugged Neil tightly crying while Neil pulled him closer in the hug murmuring sweet words trying to calm him)
Neil:"Shhh it's okay baby.. I am here. I will never leave you. I promise. Shhh. It's okay.."
Aryan:(breaking the hug but still continually talking about that night)"Tha..that day...I...I was scared..I...you..I thought I lost you...papa..I...I love..you.. please don't leave me.. like..like mumma...I..."(He started to breath heavy. seeing this Ahana panicked and rushed towards him.)
Ahana:"Aryan it's okay..Breath probably. Take your breath in..then out..in..then out.(Turning to Preeti) Preeti Water.."(She made him drink water and he slowly calmed down)
Neil:"Aryan I know you are scared baby but you know na that I will always be with you and always protect you"
Ahana:"And baby your papa is your superman right ? Then will superman ever leave his little angel."
Aryan:"But .papa..fell..he.."
Ahana:"Oh that it was..nothing. You know in the movies superman falls a little but then gets back up and always wins the fight right"(Aryan nods)"Same way you dad will never leave you. He will always protect you even when something he falls, he will get up for you"(Aryan one more time hugged Neil but this time he was more calm.)
Neil:"Alright champ what about some ice cream. I haven't eaten one in a long time"(Aryan nodded)
Shruti:"Yeah that a plan. All of you seat down I'll bring the ice cream"
Preeti:"I'll help bhabhi"(Preeti and Shruti gave everyone ice cream as everyone tried to lighten Aryan mood. Now he was feeling much better and back to normal)
Ahana was deep in thought though. If they had succeeded or not will not be discovered until next morning. Atleast Aryan had opened up to them. This would help alot. Ahana's thoughts were broken by Aryan.
Aryan:"Mumma you won't eat ice cream "
Ahana:(Smiles )"no baby. I don't feel like eating it you eat "
Aryan:"Maa one bite.(He said give his ice cream scoop to Ahana )
Ahana:"Ahh okay only one"(Aryan fed one bite to Ahana. Seeing this Neil smile)
