The breeze lightly caressed y/n's cheeks; it's was a bit chilly but there was something about that temperature that made y/n feel warm inside. Her box braids were down, with a middle part, and if we are all being honest it's time for them to be taken out. But she still looked good nonetheless, she always did.
Next to y/n was Hinata. His cheeks were slightly rosy due to the cold. However for him, the gentle breeze only made him colder than he already felt. His orange hair messily sprouted out in all directions; but he still looked good nonetheless.
The pair walked in utter silence, for the first five minutes. The only things that could be heard were the sound of worn-in gym shoes against the cement pavement/sidewalk and also the steady breathes of the two individuals. In time with each other.
"Hinata..." y/n said softly, breaking the unwanted silence.
"Yes?" he replied, his voice held an underlying hint of dread and fear.
"Do you want to talk about it?" The girl inquired.
"Honestly, no." After he uttered those words it's like a weight was lifted from him chest allowing him breathe with clarity.
"That's okay than, is silence okay?"
"Y- no.." He took a deep breath before continuing, "I don't understand silence, I don't get how a person feels safe being with their own thoughts at times. I don't get how a person is okay with making themselves vulnerable to themselves..." He stopped speaking for a while, and you were thinking about what he said.
"Never mind i'm just spouting nonsense." He said dismissing himself.
"I wanna talk about volleyball." You said in attempt to take him mind of the topic.
