The next morning and day. I open my eyes and blinked a couple of times before looking around the room. I was surprised to find Oikawa not sleeping beside me and instead showering in the bathroom. So early. Wait is the tryout today? How come I didn't know that? Well it did say it ends by the end of the month. I was about to get up from bed until the bathroom door opened, only to reveal a naked Oikawa. He blushes when he caught me staring. Hey, maybe you should start to learn to use the towel in the bathroom before coming out.
"I'm gonna go meet up with Iwa-chan for the tryout. Can you promise me you'll take good care of yourself while I'm away?" He asked as he wore his boxer. I nod with an innocent smile.
"I'll be fine. It's not like I'm gonna go anywhere" I tried to assure him while he was busy putting on his clothes. When he was fully dressed, he looked at me with a warm gaze.
"You're the best honey. Love you" He approached me and made sure to shower me with kisses before leaving the house.
"No, thank you...now I get to finish that series I dropped off" I happily got out of the bed and sat on the sofa, grabbing the controller then turning on the TV.
For the entire day, it was just me sitting on the sofa and watching the series I've been meaning to finish. Don't worry, I made sure to shower and cook myself some food to keep me and the baby in good condition. Or should I say Rowan. Even though I get to have some alone time, I kinda miss Oikawa. His voice, his pretty face and even his cute ways of teasing me. It didn't take that long for the day to end, I was watching another episode of the series I'm catching on until I notice how dark it has gotten from outside. Huh? I open my phone to see it's already 9 P.M. How come Oikawa isn't back yet?
"Hm..." I went to his contact and was about to call him until I decided not to. He's probably busy doing the tryout. He'll be back...
That's what I thought until I notice an hour has pass now...suddenly two...Where could he be? Now I don't even feel safe anymore. I turn off the TV before grabbing my phone and calling him, only to find that his phone wasn't on. Seriously?! Does he want me, a fucking 3 months pregnant woman to worry for him?! Ugh...Sometimes he annoys me too much. I got up and decided to go to the bathroom to shower. When I was done, I still didn't find Oikawa unlocking the front door or even taking off his shoes. Where is he? Do tryouts take that long? I put on my pajamas and then went to the kitchen to cook myself dinner.
"Where are you...don't scare me..." I grab my phone and didn't stop calling him. Even though he won't pick up, I won't stop trying.
"Even my ramen is ready!" I was frustrated...and hungry. I place the ramen on the table before sitting down on the ground. Eating it while I stare at my phone. Where are you Oikawa?
"Mm!" I accidentally burned my tongue when I heard the front door opening. I got up and stopped eating when I saw Oikawa taking off his shoes. I didn't care at that moment, I just jumped into his embrace and hugged him tightly.
"O-Oh! Did I leave you waiting?" He asked but his arms were already on their way to hug me back. He smiles as he bury his face into the crook of my neck.
"Where were you?! I was worried sick!" I shouted at him after pulling away. He laughs as he showed me the small shopping bag he has been carrying.
"Surprise" He handed it to me. I eyed him carefully before taking it from his hands, my eyes widened when I saw a small box inside it. What's this? I took it out and then open it.
"I looked it up the other night and apparently the only store that was selling it was on the other side of where we lived. That's why it took me a while" Oikawa was busy explaining himself while I admired the ring. I look at his hand to find him already wearing his wedding ring. Oh...
"Do you like it?" He showed me his ring and I smiled. It really matches with mine.
"Put it on" He gave me his hand and I place it on top. I watch him take the ring from me and help slide it into my fourth finger.
"I'm so lucky to be married to such a good wife" He hold both of my hand and nuzzled his nose with mine. I blush shyly.
"What makes you think I'm a good wife?" I look at him even though I'm anxious to hear his answer.
"First of all, you're already willing to spend your life with me and secondly, you're such a beautiful person inside and out. And lastly, you were ready to fall in love with me and I would do the same for you" He caressed my cheeks before kissing me deeply on the lips. Did he rehearse those words in front of the mirror? I chuckled in the middle of the kiss.
"Wait, why didn't you answer my calls?" I ask Oikawa and the confuse look when he saw me pulling away from the kiss was so cute. He pouts because he wanted the kiss to last longer.
"The battery ran out. Sorry babe" He tried to kiss me again but my phone started to ring. Oh better answer that.
"Hello?" I answered it without bothering to see who called.
"Y/N! I hope you're not busy" D-Dad? I haven't heard his voice in a while.
"Hey dad" I said and I could see Oikawa being interested. He stood closer to me so he could hear my dad over the phone.
"How have you been? Is the university well?" Mom asked. Oh well...
"I actually quit" I said and there was a pause of silence. Hello?
"You quit? Then why are you still at Japan? Come back, we missed you" Mom said. Um...
"No offense but I don't feel like going back. I really like it here and the people as well" I bite on my bottom lip, hoping they'd understand.
"Japan isn't a safe place for a young girl like you Y/N. Maybe it's best you come back" I was gonna say something to change mom's mind until Oikawa snatch my phone from my hand.
"Hello, is this Y/N's parents?" WHAT IS HE DOING?! Suddenly he chuckles.
"I'm her...husband. You don't have to worry about her safety, I'll be sure to protect her at all time" He had a warm smile as he listen to what my parents have to say. I was trying to snatch my phone back but he just used one arm to shield himself from me.
"You can come over Miyagi, Japan if you're not sure. I can book the tickets for you, show you around and be your tour guide" I look at Oikawa in confusion and he just blow me a kiss. What is he doing?
"Its a long story. We met in university and had a lot of fun together. Then we decided to drop out to start our lives together. It's a bit sudden but that's just young love" How dare he speak in an old man tone!
"Sounds good" He handed me back my phone and I eye him confusingly before pressing my phone against my ear.
"What a wonderful young man. I'm sure you'll be fine, me and your mother will visit you when we have the time. Will that be okay munchkin?" Mom asked. How did...Oikawa even...hm...
"Sure mom" I smiled. Then I said goodbye to her and dad before hanging up.
"What did they ask you? Did they say anything forward?" I asked but Oikawa kept his lips sealed. Hey that doesn't answer my question.
"I haven't told them about your pregnancy...I thought it'd be bad to just spill everything all at once" Oikawa lead me to the sofa and I frown when I saw my ramen already cold. He chuckles seeing me pout.
"Don't worry, I'll go heat it up" Oikawa picked up the bowl and went to the kitchen.
"Oikawa...did the tryout go well?" I ask while I watch him turn on the fire. He hums.
"I don't know. They didn't tell me if I got it, they said they'll call me once they're done deciding" Oikawa said. Really? That sucks. I grab the controller and turned the TV on.
"But lets not talk about that. What did you do for the day?" Oikawa came back with the ramen fully heated. Well what is there to even talk about?
"Just watching this series I've been catching on" I said while Oikawa blew on the ramen to cool it, he then feed me it.
"You look so cute when your cheeks are big. Oooh I just wanna pinch them" Oikawa was trying his best to contain himself and I just stare at him as I chew on the ramen. Seriously?
"You're so cute..." Oikawa wrapped his arm around my waist and nuzzle my hair with his.
"O-Oh!" Oikawa moved back when he notice me yelp. He looks at me all worried.
"What's wrong? Did I hug you too tight?" He asked while I hold on to my stomach. I chuckle when I realise what it was.
"Rowan kicked" I smile and Oikawa bat his eyelashes at me, then his lips formed into a smile as well.
"So quick. Our baby is already kicking..." Oikawa place his hand on my baby bump and it caused Rowan to kick again. His eyes light up when he got to feel the kick with his own hand.
"Do you think Rowan can hear us?" Oikawa looked at me but I just shrug my shoulders. I'm just 3 months pregnant, she's still growing after all.
"You should eat more. Here" Oikawa used the chopsticks and continued feeding me the ramen. Hey I'm not complaining.
"You're the best husband I can ever ask for" I couldn't help but say and I could see him blushing.
"Aw you're making me shy. Stop" He looked away and tried to hide his face with his hair.
"Do you think you can be the best father though?" I asked and he slowly looked back into my eyes. He nods confidently.
"I already have the things a father needs to be the best. I'm good with kids, I can sing a lullaby, I know how to cook...well kinda and I know just how to take care of a girl" Oikawa pointed at himself with pride. Uh huh...
"What will you do if our daughter woke up and was on her period, not to mention its her first time" I tested him and I could see he was having trouble thinking.
"I've heard about periods...so I'll do fine" He said even though he wasn't a hundred percent sure.
"That doesn't explain my question. I asked, what will you do?" I grab the bowl from him and ate the ramen myself. He rubs his neck shyly.
"Should we even talk about this? I'm a boy after all..." I hit his head with the chopsticks when I saw him trying to avoid the question.
"You're gonna be a father! It's best to be prepare!" I said and he pressed both his palms together in a apologetic way.
"O-Okay...well I'll wash her clothes for her since the blood must have left a stain on them" He felt confident when he saw me nodding. Yeah that's correct.
"Then I'll just use tissue rolls to cover her underwear so she can wear them" He felt his confidence being shattered to pieces when he saw me giving him a weird look.
"Tissues won't work. Girls only use them when they don't have pads" I place the bowl down when I was finally full.
"Pads? What are those?" Oikawa asked and I was lazy to explain so I went to grab my sanitary pads I have laying around. He was concern to see me moving around but he tried to control himself by forcing himself to sit still.
"These" I sat back down in front of him with the sanitary pad with me. He lifts both his eyebrows up.
"The mini diapers?" I was about to hit him when I heard him say that...but I was too tired to. Oh my mood swings gets worse when I'm pregnant...
"How do you even use this?" Oikawa asked me after he opened the sanitary pad. I chuckle seeing how clueless he was.
"Why don't you go get one of my underwear? I'll teach you" He didn't even let me finish talking, he already got up and was already getting one. I was honestly surprised to find him pick an exotic underwear I have. Huh...
"So is it...like this?" He put the sanitary pad in the underwear but the sticky part was sticking up and the cotton was facing down. How...
"Have you ever thought about pain?" I asked him and he was intimidated by my annoyed gaze.
"Isn't this right?" Oikawa was still confuse. I sigh as I ended up sticking the sanitary pad on his arm. He bat his eyelashes at me.
"If I stick the sanitary pad on my pussy then its gonna hurt, the cotton is what's gonna be absorbing the blood. What do you think the sticky part does?" I look at him while he remove the pad from his arm.
"Um..." He was thinking and probably talking to himself in his head.
"Oh I know!" Finally after minutes of giving him hints, he got to stick the sanitary pad to the underwear. Good job! Took you almost a year!
"Now that you tested me. It's my turn, if our son ever hits puberty. What would you do?" I could tell he was winking at me, trying to give me what he was hitting at.
"Its alright, as long as he doesn't overdo it. Its fine" I smile when I could see Oikawa pouting.
"What about me? What if I overdo it?" Oikawa tried to get close to me but I place my hand on his chest to stop him from moving closer.
"I'm tired. Wash the dish for me" I got up and went to bed, leaving him sitting there with a confused look. Hes probably zoning out at this point.
