"The way those two look at each other.. I'm surprised they haven't at least kissed yet." I told Rick, I watched Daryl and Carol together, I always believed they would end up together, they would be a cute match. "I think they're just friends." He looked over at me, as I ran my hand over my hair, "I just want him to be happy." I look back, as he gave me a look. "What was that for?" I cross my arms, "It's nothin'." He chuckled as I bite my lip, as I grab my jacket. "I'm going back to the house, I left my knife." I headed back towards my place, as I went upstairs, I get a pain in my chest, as I flinch, I felt like I couldn't breathe, almost a faint feeling. "Woah." I lean against the door, as I rub my eyes. I hoped it was nothing too serious, "Y/n?" I turn when I see Daryl, he grabbed onto me as I felt like I was falling, I sit back on the bed as I was probably just dehydrated. "Are you good?" He asked, as I nodded. "Yeah, yeah I'm okay." The feeling passed, as I look up at him. "So, are you going to finally grab your balls and ask Carol out?" I smirked, he frowned. "What? Nah. There's nothin' between us. We're friends." He shrugged, I watched him carefully. "Friends don't look at each other like that. C'mon, Daryl. Just do it already!" He stayed silent, like he was uncomfortable. "What's wrong with you? Just do it." I noticed he was staring at me, but I didn't clock it. "Daryl?" When he grabbed my face and kissed me, it caught me off guard. I was shocked, I didn't know what to think. Damn.
I pull myself back, as I blink a few times, very shocked. "I- Daryl.." I wasn't sure what to say, my mind was racing. "I'm sorry.." he told me, as he awkwardly turned and walked out. I touch my lips, still not believing what he just did. What did he just start between us? "Shit." I whisper, as I went back outside, I needed to think. My mind was a mess. Rick was laughing with Michonne, I walk over to them. "Hey, girl.. woah, you look shaken up." Michonne watched me, as I take a breath. "Daryl kissed me." Rick seemed shocked. "Damn." He chuckled, "It isn't funny, Rick. It was unlike Daryl to kiss me. Or anyone. But I felt like, this connection.. and it was insane. I've always liked Daryl, but I never- he has feelings for me?" I look back at Rick. "He doesn't like Carol anymore than friends, he's been talking to me.. about you.. an awful lot." I cut in, "You knew?" I glared, "I didn't think he'd act on it, okay? Daryl's shy. And it isn't like him to do that, but I just told him to be honest with himself." I sighed, "I can't be here right now. I need to go." Rick grabbed my arm, "You can't just walk out there, y/n. It isn't safe." I pull myself back, "Bye, Rick." I turn and I walk into the woods, through the open hatch in the gate. It was pretty dark outside, I grab my flashlight as I head out further, when I heard a noise. I back up against a tree, slowly as I turn off the light, I shut my eyes and stay silent, as I knew I couldn't be seen. I had to be quiet, I had to be.
I felt two arms around me from behind, pulling me back as I look up, into this man's eyes, a man I had never seen before. He was tall, black hair, deep brown eyes, a bit of a beard. "Woah." I couldn't actually believe how gorgeous he was, but he didn't say an awful lot. "Hi." He grinned, I didn't really know what to say, but he was so cocky. "Hi?" He wore a white shirt, brown pants with a leather jacket. He had a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. "Negan." He held out his hand, as I grab onto it, he pulled me in closer. I couldn't believe how close I was to him, our lips were inches apart, he captivated me in a way that left me breathless. "Can't stay and chat darlin', but I damn hope to see you again." He let go of me, as he ran off into the darkness. I turn and he was gone, I shake my head, confused what just happened, who was he? It made no sense to me.
I think I'm in trouble.
