Her eyes widened as she felt a current running through her body. He knew how to make a girl nervous with his charms. He was enjoying seeing her state with playfulness in his eyes. Their attention got diverted when his father spoke. "Adrian go to your office... Caroline will be with you to help you in office work."
"Sure dad... With the help of Miss William, I'm sure I will learn everything quickly...Right Miss William?", she looked at him for a second before diverting her gaze towards Mr. Elbert and smiled nervously. "Y-Yeah right", she smiled trying to look relax which Mr. Elbert returned with a genuine one.
His eyes were looking at him with interest as he was thinking of every way he will try on her to get her on his fingers. He was smirking and he knew he will surely get what he wants, those things are owned by...Only Him.
Entering inside the office that was assigned to Adrian, she didn't say anything before turning around when she saw him coming inside the office. He was looking handsome in the office attire, a gentleman. But, she knew who actually he was, a playboy.
"Mr. Elbert If you need anything, you can call me", she professionally smiled a little before bowing while he observed her movements with a subdue smirk and amusement in his eyes. She looked at him when her smile vanished and she felt a need to get out of here.
"I want to kill his smirk..."
She internally rolled her eyes before passing him until she reached the door. She stopped hearing his voice when she turned around only to gasp seeing him so close to her. Their faces were inches away and her heart picked up its pace. "M-Mr. Elbert", she stuttered.
"I want something, Miss William", his voice came out husky sending millions of thoughts in her mind and she knew that these thoughts were not good ones as they contained all the desires. He moved a little closer as she started talking steps back while he moved towards her. Her back steps followed by his steps until she hit the door behind her. "Mr. E-Elbert... what are you doing?", she nervously looked at him.
"I'm telling you what I need... Kitten", again this name sent shivers down her spine. If he continues to do this it will be hard for her to not fall for the man in front of her. She looked away trying to stay determined. "Mr. Elbert... Move away. Please", she turned her head away from him. "Why? You didn't like me this close?", he asked in seducing tone.
"Mr. Elbert, please...Tell me what you need... I have to go", she said avoiding eye contact with him. " Meet me at the same club tonight", she frowned looking at him while he tilted his head smiling a little and it was visible that he was playing with her.
"What?... I'm not coming", she pushed him away annoyed by his behavior, and turned around to open the door but he grabbed her hand and pulled her back to his chest. Her eyes widened as he bit her earlobe and brushed his lips just below her ear. "Don't make your boss angry kitten", he muttered against her skin.
She closed her eyes as he again bit her earlobe and it was making her feel butterflies in her stomach. She didn't push him away and that was the main thing that boosted up his confidence. She was shocked at herself as to why the hell she didn't push him away? "Got it, Kitten?"
He backed away and looked at her face seeing her closed eyes. She opened her eyes only to see his playful smirk that made her come to her senses. She pushed him away and went out of the office while he chuckled brushing his hair back. His gaze went to the door but soon his attention diverted when his phone rang. He picked it up and went to sit on his chair.
"So how are you doing?", Marvin on the other side of the phone asked. "Pretty well", Adrian smirked. "Let's hang out", his friend asked him but remembering what he did with Caroline enhanced his interest. It was not the office he liked, but the girl who was amusing him.
"After my work", he said and cut the call before leaning on the chair and closed his eyes. A smile formed on his face as he remembered her face.
"Miss Fierce... You are going to be mine tonight."
She came out of his office and sat down on her chair gulping a glass of water. He is insane that is what she was thinking and she was angry at herself too that why the hell she didn't push him away. It's right that he is too intimidating but still she doesn't want to fall for him.
These types of boys only know how to use girls.
She thought and shook her head while Alexa frowned looking at her friend. "Hey what happened to you? Why you are sweating?", she enquired. "N-No... Nothing... I'm perfectly alright", Caroline lied even though she knew, she was not fine. Adrian was the reason behind her sweaty state and it would be a lie to say that she didn't like what he did.
"Well, Congratulations you got a jackpot... Adrian Elbert's secretary", Caroline rolled her eyes as Alexa continued to tease her when David walked towards them.
"Hello Beautiful... wanna go to the club tonight?", he winked playfully which widened Caroline's eyes as she remembered his words. There is no way she is going to the club tonight, he is her boss in the office not outside, and why the hell she will be scared of him?
"NO!!! I'm not going", she shouted and walked away from them while they looked at their friend with confused faces. She was totally acting differently today that made them curious but they shrugged it off and continued their work.
His eyes wandered around the whole club but no sign of her was visible to him which made him mad. If she is going to ignore him then it would be her biggest mistake. His patience is not good when it comes to girls but he was being patient with her for the first time.
"Looks like someone is testing my friend's patience", Marvin chuckled as he took a sip from his champagne while Adrian just rolled his eyes at his best friend teasing. "Just shut your mouth", he said and looked around when he checked his phone only to see a notification from his man.
(Man: 'She is not coming Sir.')
He scoffed at the nerves she got. She is the first girl who is resisting him so much. If there was some other girl, he would have gotten what he wanted till now. The girl herself would have was testing his patience. He stood up angrily before going out getting tired of waiting for her.
Caroline's POV:-
His eyes were digging a hole in my soul as he continued to stare at me. My eyes met his which made me look away instantly. My body was started to burn with an unknown feeling. He was making it hard for me to concentrate on the meeting while his father was sitting beside him, but still, he was not afraid of getting caught.
He rubbed his lower lip, looking at me making me bite my own lips and I failed to ignore him. From the morning, I was trying to avoid him. Before he arrived at the office I made sure to arrange everything so I don't have to meet him or otherwise, I knew I would be in his office and he would be towering above me.
But here I'm getting killed by his stare...
Can't he just stop looking at me? What if anyone notices us and assumes something wrong I thought, becoming tense about getting caught but he was not afraid as he continued his playful actions towards me. His eyes were dark but I can see the desire that was radiating off.
"Okay... The meeting is dismissed", Mr. Elbert said as everyone started to get out of the meeting room when Adrian smirked at me and I knew he was going to play again with me. I nervously took the files from the table and stood up. "Dad I will go to my office... Miss William, can you accompany me?", that's it.
He was fucking playing with me. "There is something important I want to talk to you", he said when Mr. Elbert nodded. I screamed internally not ready to go along with him. Being alone with him was the last thing I wanted to do but for now, I have no choice rather than to go with him.
I wanted to punch his face until he begs me for mercy, but I knew my courage will leave quietly in front of him. "Sure", I said and stood up. I smiled before going out as he followed me along.
I took a deep breath, holding on to the files tightly that I carried along with me. I bit my lips while his gaze never left me. I was sure that if his eyes have the laser in them, I would have died by right now. Being alone with him and in an elevator, was not the right thing. The door of the lift opened as everyone came inside causing me to move back.
My eyes widened when I realized that I was very close to him who was standing behind me enjoying the scene. His chest slightly brushed with my back and it produced millions of butterflies in my stomach.
Fuck... I can feel him staring at me. His presence was making me nervous and my heart beat faster as it has run a marathon. I was perplexed at the effect he has on me.
"Are you feeling nervous kitten?", he whispered in my ear and I felt his hand running upward on my arm sensually. That jerk knew what he was doing. I couldn't help but tight my grip around the files.
"Not giving a damn about what I said? You decided to go against me... Kitten", he again whispered moving closer until he placed his hand on my waist from behind causing me to startle. My eyes scanned the people who were standing in front of me unaware of what is happening at their back. I was feeling tensed what if they will see us? But, Adrian didn't care. "You made me angry Kitten."
I can feel the anger radiating off from his body and it made me shiver. "M-Mr. El-Elbert... Please", I tried to come out of his grip while he tightened it. Soon, the door opened and everyone started to go out. I quickly pushed him and was about to go out when he grabbed my hand and pushed me against the elevator wall. The files I was holding fell down as his hands went to the stop button of the lift.
He purposely locked the door...
His eyes continued to stare in my nervous eyes and I was not ready for what will be going to happen. "Not this time", he spoke and moved closer enough to me and I was sure he can feel my breath on his lips. He smirked moving his hands upon my arms. "Mr. Elbert... please. They will see us", I again tried to resist him against my will.
"My name is enough for them... Don't worry kitten", I closed my eyes as it was becoming impossible for me to resist him. He was intimidating and It was hard for me to not fall for him when he was continuously trying hard to make me attracted towards him.
"Adrian..."
I opened my eyes only to see his eyes looking at me with unreadable desire. He grabbed my hands and pinned them above my head. I was feeling aroused by his actions. "Don't you deserve punishment for disobeying me?", he said and leaned in, looking at me with the desire in his eyes that made me drown in it. I was being hypnotized by him. "I don't think so", I answered and I didn't know from where the courage came in me.
"Yes you do kitten", Uttering these words followed by his dark chuckle that I loved and made me insane, he kissed me roughly. He was rough and it was not the soft kiss, it was the punishment he was giving me for disobeying him. I didn't resist nor took time and kissed him back with the same passion. His hands roamed on my body sending new sensations over my body, I never experienced before.
"You're making me crazy Kitten", He mumbled against my lips while my hands struggled in his large ones. I was looking at a weak girl in front of him and he was controlling me.
"I-It's not right Adrian", I whispered making him to caresses my face delicately. I looked at him while he smiled and gave me another passionate kiss to which I responded back. He let go of my hands and they on their own coiled around his neck. His action made me feel that he was being patient for a long time and now he doesn't want to hold it back.
"There is nothing wrong with it... I know you want it to Caroline", he deeply looked into my eyes, and I breathe heavily because of his ravenous kisses. I don't want to fall for him. "N-No... I don't want it", I said and pushed him away still thinking about my job, my future and I don't want to get in a relationship just because of sexual attention.
I pressed the button causing the elevator to move upward when he grabbed my hand and pushed me against the wall again. I gasped closing my eyes due to the sudden impact of push. "Don't resist me", he said and moved closer placing soft kisses on my neck which made me lose my senses.
His soft lips were grazing over my skin and it made my knees weak for him. His touch was addictive. I found myself moaning a little as I clenched his shirt in my hands while he continued to devour me.
"Do you want me, kitten?", He demanded as he wanted me to submit myself to him, just like other girls do? Does he also ask for their consent? I opened my eyes that closed on their own when his lips touched my skin.
Before I can respond or answer him, the elevator stopped which made me come back to my senses before I pushed him to go out but stopped when the door opened and my eyes widened seeing him.
"Mr. Elbert?"
