Faythe grabbed Vivi's waist and leaped back to give Luffy some fighting room.
"PLEASE LISTEN TO US, MR. DORRY! WE'RE JUST AS CLUELESS AS TO WHY THAT RUM EXPLODED!" Vivi shouted out desperately. She only received some harsh coughs from the giant before she continued.
"BUT YOU HAVE TO STAY PUT FOR NOW! THE INSIDES OF YOUR BODY ARE DAMAGED ENOUGH ALREADY FROM THAT EXPLOSION JUST NOW!"
The giant ignored the girl entirely and just glared down at Faythe's captain, "HOW DARE YOU...! COUGH!"
Mr. Dorry raised his sword high up in the air and crashed it down into the ground where Luffy was before he dodged to his left.
"WHY ARE'NT YOU STOPPING HIM! HE CANT WIN AGAINST A GIANT WARRIOR!" Vivi shouted, shaking Faythe's shoulder in a panicked motion. "THIS WHOLE THING IS STUPID TO BEGIN WITH! ARE'NT YOU HIS FRIEND!?"
Faythe looked down at Vivi and frowned.
"Its because he is my Captain that I trust his decisions."
"What do you mean, are you going to let him die!?" Vivi argued.
"I trust he will not die." Faythe spoke up, looking down at his straw hat.
"He will become the King of Pirates, and find the One Piece."
"And I will watch him do it."
Mr. Dorry landed his sword again on the ground, trying to land a hit at Luffy, but failed due to his internal injuries. Luffy took the chance to take a jump on his sword and propel himself higher into the air.
"GOMU GOMU....!"
Mr. Dorry wasn't gonna give Luffy a chance to do what he was gong to do and smacked him hard with his working arm and shield. Resulting in her Captain hitting hard into the ground.
Luffy reached his arms out to the nearest trees and propeled himself towards him, barely dodging another swing of Dorry's sword. Now he was flying way past that tree and his arms stretching even further.
"GOMU GOMU...!"
The giant spit up a few coughs of blood, huffing out of breathe.
"ROCKET!"
Luffy shot forward, right into Mr. Dorry's stomach, knocking him back off his feet.
"URGHHHHHH! AGAGHHHHH!" Mr. Dorry screamed out in pain, then into a battle cry as he raised his foot and smacked it down onto Luffy.
Faythe stiffened up, her hand clutching the straw hat.
"LUFFY!?" Vivi called out, sweat falling off her cheeks as she ran forward.
Faythe kept her attention on the giant, his face contorted into a look of pain and fury. Blood gushing out of his mouth so much that even if he gritted his teeth, the blood would seep through.
"So you were... a Devil Fruit User, were you now...!" Mr. Dorry said through heavy gasps. He fell to his knees, the wounds too great now that Luffy had added more damage.
"How careless of me...!"
Those were the giant's last words until he fell forward face first, his fall sent the wind rushing past the two ladies.
Luffy was then revealed to be an imprint indented into the ground. His top body leapt up forward like he woke up from a nightmare. He let out a loud gasp for air.
"LUFFY!"
"CAPTAIN!"
"Are you alright!?" Vivi said frantically, scouring his body for any wounds, but let out a breath of relief when she found no serious injuries.
"How's he?" Luffy pointed to the giant.
Vivi was gonna answer but she was interrupted when Faythe slammed the straw hat on Luffy's head and talked first.
"He'll be fine, He's a warrior. I doubt he would die this easily. At least we stopped him." she concluded, her face taking on serious look.
"Don't worry you did the right thing. He wouldn't have calmed down otherwise." Vivi finished.
Luffy fixed his hat, while having it shadow over his face. Faythe could hear his teeth grind.
"I'm real pissed off!"
Faythe felt some kind of tingling sensation go over her body as he said those words. Her feathers shifted ever so slightly.
"Hm?" Vivi tilted her head confused.
"Its as the mister here said, it wasn't the other giant, who placed a bomb inside that barrel of rum. And my cremates would never have done such a low act!"
"I still dont understand what your talking about." Vivi stood there have a more confused looking face.
"It's quite easy to sum up if you think about it, Princess." Faythe rolled her eyes.
"Somebody else, is on this island..."
A sudden eruption brought everyone back to reality, there faces turned towards the volcano off into the distance. The same one only hours before.
"Huh!?"
"Ah... It's that same volcano again...!"
Faythe mentally face palmed herself at the stupidity of the Princess before her. Before she could speak up and tell her thoughts out loud, a familiar giant hand slammed down before them.
"Mister, wait! Dont go!"
"You have to stay put! If you dont you could die!"
"Sir! Your wounds are in a too drastic state to even stand up!"
The three pirates continued their pleas, but the Giant ignored them with a cocky smile.
"Here stands, the warrior Dorry, who vows to give a fight..." His voice carried a resounding pressure, that sent chills down Faythe's spine. His speech was interrupted by a couple of bloody coughs. Blood was seeping down his face and pouring out of his mouth fairly quickly.
"Worthy of Elbaf's Honor!"

Faythe blinked a couple of times and felt her feathers tingle exhilaration. she didn't know how it happened so quickly but Luffy ended up under the dinosaur's bone of a house for the giant. The dust and smoke that filled the air of the impact was now slowly faded away.
"Luffy!" Vivi called out worriedly.
That brought Faythe's mind back to earth. She whipped her head around and ran towards her captain, to see him slamming his hands into the ground.
"AHHH! What're you doing!? Move your damn house off me!" Luffy shouted. Faythe slid to her knees and pushed her shoulder against the dinosaur bone.
"This god damn fossil!" She shouted angrily. Vivi looked at the bone and then towards the giant who was now standing up striaght. And was now pointing his sword proudly towards them.
"You can't stop me." Dorry stated, The dust in the clearing was ow circling him, giving him the dramatic effect.
"It may have been over a hundred years ago... Since this battle began... But running away from a battle that has already begun, is to run away from being a warrior." Dorry Wheezed out a puff of air, trying to keep his breathing even. Faythe could see he was still in terrible shape as the blood hasn't stopped dripping down his face along with the newfound sweat. On his face were literal veins popping out on his skin.
"And to no longer be a warrior, is to no longer be myself."
Faythe stopped with her impossible struggle and took a second to feel those words. Her eyes widened as she processed what the giant just said. As she did that Dorry took the obligations to sheath his sword, giving out another puff of breathe, before turning away towards the spot where he would meet his foe.
"My apologies, for doubting you little ones..."
Luffy laid there, grinding his teeth in frustration.
"This is merely the judgement of the Warrior God, Elbaf...! All it means, is that I am not blessed by his divine protection...!" His Indigo cape fluttered behind him in a majestic way. His shield and sword out in a stance ready to enter battle.
"ENOUGH ABOUT GOD, DIVINE PROTECTION, AND WHATEVER! THAT DOES'NT MATTER AT ALL! IF YOUR GOD TOLD YOU TO DIE, WOULD YOU WILLINGLY KILL YOURSELF!?" Luffy was now shouting at the top of his lungs. Faythe perked up at this, she felt her stomach drop at her captain's words.
"SOMEBODY ELSE UNFAIRLY INTERFERED WITH YOUR DUEL! A DUEL THAT BEEN MANIPULATED BY A THIRD PARTY ISNT A PROPER DUEL ANYMORE!" Luffy was getting desperate now to stop this whole thing, his clenched fists now shaking. Faythe nodded quickly, she was gonna add something but was interrupted again by the same giant.
"Silence... A little one like you who has only lived a mere 10 or 20 years, could not possibly comprehend Elbaf's Divine words...!"
Faythe quickly shut her mouth at the words spoken.
"God dammit!" Faythe cursed irritated at how small she seems at this moment.
"HELL IF I CARE! JUST GET THIS OFF ME!" The captain was now using his fists to try and punch the giant dinosaur skull off himself. Meanwhile she saw Dorry already leaving in the corner of her eye. This just made her more determined to help her captain out of his predicament.
"GABABABABABABA! Dorry! After all these years of drinking only water, the rum must've tasted especially fine, right!?"
"'Course! It tasted of God!"
Faythe could hear their booming voices above the screaming Luffy was doing.
"GABABABABABABA! Aren't you a poet!" Dorry's foe hollered out, raising his giant axe above his shoulder, "Here I come!"
"GEGYAGYAGYAGYA!" Dorry laughed out, but was cut off by a bloody cough. He raised his shield up quickly to block the other's attack.
"UGH...! ARGHHHH! AHHHHHH!" Luffy was now just screaming at the skull that lodged him into the dirt, pounding his fists onto the hard surface. Faythe quickly turned her head from the fight and hurried over to try and help.
"Luffy..." Vivi said nervously at his state.
"JUST WHEN I THOUGHT, I HAD MET AN AMZAING WARRIOR...!"
Faythe gritted her teeth and stood up. she trailed back a bit, and started charging forward at the skull. Hitting her shoulder on the bone surface, sent waves of pain through her body.
"Ow ow ow ow ow!" Faythe breathed out painfully.
After many attempts of charging at the skull to at least lessen the weight off her captain, she slid down to the ground, leaning on the bone. Her shoulders were now heavily bruised.
"Damn it all!" She slammed her fist into the bone behind her, knowing full well she couldn't make anymore damage but a scratch, or just another large bruise to add to her shoulder.
"JUST WHO IS IT THAT DID SUCH A LOWLY ACT...!" Luffy huffed out angrily, his head now lid on the ground.
Faythe let out a sigh of irritation, now giving up on trying to free her captain. She glanced painfully at her rumpled feathers that stuck out in awkward positions.
"...!? Carue's not here..." The Princess randomly states.
"THATS THE THING THAT YOUR WORRIED ABOU RIGHT NOW!? THATS YOUR FIRST PRIORITY!?" Faythe shouted out annoyed.
"S-sorry..!" She stiffened up at the sudden shout.

"LUFFYYYYYYYYYYYYY!"
Faythe turned her head towards the high pitch scream, to see Usopp cartwheeling into a giant rock near them.
"Ouch." Faythe commented.
Usopp ignored his bloody forehead and nose, and went striaght to his captain.
"LUFFY! NAMI WAS EATEN BY A DINOSAUR!" He shouted out crying all over the place.
"FOR REAL!?" Luffy shouted back.
This little shouting contest between them both made Faythe snicker a bit as Usopp totally just disregarded Luffy trapped under the giant skull.
"WE WERE BOTH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE DINOSAUR IN THE JUNGLE BUT SHE DISAPPEARED ALL OF A SUDDEN...! WHAT DO I DO!? I JUST LET OUR CREWMATE DIE!"
"W-Wait, wait, wait just a minute here...!" Vivi paused the yelling.
"You said she disappeared all of a sudden, but did you actually go back to see if she was eaten!?" She tried calm him down.
"AS IF I COULD! I WAS SCARED OUTTA MY WITS! IF NOT THE DINOSAUR, THEN SHE MUST'VE BEEN EATEN BY SOME OTHER WILD BEAST!" Usopp shouted back even louder than before.
"HAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA!" Faythe burst out laughing, she had to hold her stomach.
"SHUT UP, FAYTHE! THIS IS NO LAUGHING MATTER!"
"YOU FREAKING SCARDY CAT!!" Faythe yelled, as she leaned back and fell to the ground laughing.
"FAYTHE!! THIS IS SERIOUS!!!" Usopp smacked Faythe up side her head.
"I cant say this for certain but... If Baroque Works' Agents have tailed us to this island, It would make sense for them to have attacked only Nami. After all, you're probably not on their hit list..." Vivi Princess explained, looking around, sweating a bit.
"And even that barrel of rum... perhaps it was originally meant to kill us...!" Vivi finished her conclusion.
"Rum? What about the rum?" Usopp looked up from shaking Faythe around at a ridiculous speed.

"WHAT!? IT EXPLODED INSIDE HIS STOMACH!?"
Faythe nodded, sitting back down because her shoulders started to act up again.
"SO THEN... HE WENT TO GO FIGHT EVEN WITH HIS INJURIES!?"
"Yep." Faythe popped the 'p'
"BUT THOSE TWO HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR A HUNDRED YEARS! THEY ALWAYS FIGHT AT FULL POWER AND THEY'VE STILL YET TO DECIDE A VICTOR!"
"Yep."
"IT'S... PROBABLY THE MOST INTENSE FIGHT FOR PERSONAL PRIDE AND HONOUR IN THE WORLD!"
"Yep."
"Yeah." Luffy said casually.
"THEIR FIGHT CAN'T POSSIBLY END THIS WAY!"
"Mhm."
"SHUT UP! FAYTHE!" She shouted at the girl irritated.
A loud clash between two weapons, sending waves of harsh winds, thrashing at the pirate's faces.
"WHAT'S WRONG DORRY!? YOU SEEM TO BE WINCING IN PAIN!"
"Nonsense I'm fine as always..!" Dorry retorted, keeping his ground, even through his wounded self.
Though something dreadful happened and his foot slipped, resulting in himself collapsing backwards.
"AH..!" Dorry grunted in pain when his back met in contact with the destroyed trees beneath him.
His foe raised his battle axe high into the sky.
"THE BATTLE IS MINE NOW, DORRY!"
