Long I have yearned for wings of light,
to traverse the boundless infinite skies,
whispering to clouds and silent winds,
beyond dreams of endless flight.
My hopes hover beyond my dreams,
into the dust bowls & sands of time,
amidst the cyclones of swirling winds,
I lie awake in sleepy dreams.
If I were a bird, I shall fly beyond,
towards the stars and moons that hound,
to silent caverns lost in valleys deep,
lose myself to find my screams.
To freedom, I shall scream,
beyond each passing stream,
that held hidden my broken beats,
eyes closed, yet again to live my dreams.
