"No, if you want the egg properly fried, it has to be on both sides."
"But I want it to look aesthetically pleasing!"
"Hyung... you're gonna eat it with your mouth, not you eyes."
"Should I find another place to go to school?" I spoke up, making both Jay and Heeseung look at me as I glanced up from my computer, that stood on the kitchen counter, "you're being awfully loud."
"Sorry, but could you explain to him I want my egg to look aesthetically pleasing?" Heeseung spoke, making me let out a small sigh before plugging in my earbuds and logging onto my first class.
I frowned slightly at the sight of all black screens, beside my own, where I could clearly see myself sitting and frowning.
"2, 3!" a voice counted and soon all the screens showed my classmates sitting with either baloons or small signs with cute messages on it.
"Congratulations Li Yang!" A small choir chorused making me grin widely and happily clap my hands in excitement.
"Thank you~" I happily cooed as I kept on smiling widely.
"We had a mass voting for you," Li Hua happily cooed making me just smile even wider, "When are you coming to visit us?"
"Ah, I hope to be able to make it for gaokao in June," I replied making her grin widely, "I really want to be able to take it with the rest of you."
"Ah I miss you, you weirdo," Li Hua sighed at me.
"Miss you too weirdo," I cooed at her.
"Now girls, chit chatting is for after school," our teacher spoke up, making me let out a small sigh as I just nodded and muted myself to sit and listen to the lecture whilst writing down notes in my notebook, that laid beside me.
I sat in silence for most of the day, it wasn't that interactive classes we had now that we were all online for the time being. But I managed to get loads of notes written down.
"I'm home!" a loud voice sung out, making me jump in my seat, and once I looked up at my screen I could see Li Hua sit with a hand over her mouth trying to surpress a laugh. I let out a small laugh before poking my tongue out at her, making her disappear out of frame as she just laughed.
I simply shook my head before looking back down at my notebook once more and continued to sit and take notes.
"How do you do that?" Sunoo looked down at my notes with wide eyes, almost as if he was horrified.
"Do what?" I frowned in confusion.
"That," he pointed to my notebook, "write like that."
"This?" I questioned him and he just shrugged.
"Whatever that is," he replied.
"It's Chinese," I calmly replied and he just nodded before pulling out a chair and sitting down beside me, just watching in fascination as I sat and took notes. I simply couldn't help but let out a small laugh at him, sitting there just staring at my notes in fascination, "is it fascinating?"
"Yes," he immediately nodded.
I let out a small laugh before pulling out one of my earbuds and placing it in his ear, so he could listen along. He immediately widened his eyes as I directed my attention back to the screen once more, as I continued to sit and scribble down notes.
"Ddeonu? Li?" Sunghoon spoke up making me hum as I kept my eyes on the screen and Sunoo just stared at my notes in bewilderment, "we're getting picked up in about five minutes. You have to be ready."
"Schedule?" I questioned and quickly took some notes.
"Yep," Sunghoon nodded.
"Okay," I hummed before signalling I wanted to say something in the class.
"Yes miss Fàn?" my teacher spoke.
"I'm afraid I have to go now," I spoke and she just hummed as Li Hua excitedly waved me off as I left the class and took my earbud from Sunoo, "lets go get ready for schedule."
"You're so cool," Sunoo commented as he looked at me in awe.
"Sorry?" I let out a small laugh agt him.
"You're so cool when you speak it," he stated and gestured to my nose, "so cool. I want to be fluent in another language as well."
"Practice Sunbeam... practice," I commented and patted his head softly as I closed down my computer and notebook, "and next time, please tell me when you tell Riki something about us."
"How'd you know?" Sunoo frowned at me in confusion.
"He told me when we went to the convenience store," I simply shrugged, "now come on, we have schedule," I urged and tugged on his hand, making him quickly look around before tapping his cheek.
"Kiss," he cutely demanded making me let out a chuckle before quickly pecking his cheek and tugging him with me out of the kitchen and down to the bedroom to quickly pack our bags to go for schedule.
When we had arrived at the company we had all been rushed down to our practicing room to start warming up for practice.
"Lin," our manager spoke as he stepped into the room and I turned my head to him, "we're gonna have you start in Korean school for the next school year, so before this week is over you have to have found out which school you would attend."
"Sorry, I'm what now?" I questioned with raised eyebrows.
"We're deciding to put you in Korean High School, when the next school year starts in March," our manager repeated and I hesitantly nodded, "to help you get along with your Korean learning, and to make it more optimal for you to go back to school, instead of recieving online classes or flying back and forth."
"And... Niki and Jake?" I questioned in confusion.
"Neither of those are taking online classes, like you insist on doing, so we don't see it necessary yet," our manager shook his head, "figure out what school you would like to apply for, by the end of the week, okay?" he stated and just left.
"I don't even know what schools there is," I muttered in realization as I plopped down on the floor.
"Would you be willing to go to a school where you know no one?" Heeseung spoke up.
"Hell no," I snorted making him simply shrug.
"Isn't Hanlim and Chilbo her only choice then?" Heeseung questioned, "she can't go to school with Jungwon."
"Ah... I would love to go to school with noona," Jungwon complained with a small whine.
"Tough for you private school boy," I cooed at him before frowning at myself, "hold on... I shouldn't speak on that.... but why Chilbo and Hanlim?"
"Sunghoon is graduating," Jay pointed out, "so it'll only be either Sunoo or me you can go to school with... you'll be in the same year as us, even."
"Ah..." I hesitantly nodded in realization, "so... what is what?"
"Sunoo is Chilbo and I am Hanlim," Jay stated and I nodded at him waving my hand for him to continue, "I don't know about Chilbo, but Hanlim is mostly performance arts focused."
"Yeah, Chilbo is just a normal high school," Sunoo waved it off.
"And I'm expected to just figure out what I want to attend?" I questioned in confusion.
"Oh well... I could try and ask if you could try and come be there for a day," Sunoo spoke up and Jay just nodded.
"Yeah, Hanlim won't hesitate if I show them your wikipedia page," Jay nodded at me.
"Oh shut up," I let out a small laugh.
"We'll arrange for you to try and come to school with us," Jay waved it off.
"Won't I need... a uniform then?" I questioned in confusion and he just shook his head.
"Not if you're only visiting," he assured and I hummed with a small frown on my face.
"Something's up?" Sunghoon questioned.
"I was supposed to take my gaokao in June," I nodded at him, making him frown.
"And that means..." Jake trailed off.
"I would've graduated," I shrugged, "but now... if I'm supposed to start school here... I'll first graduate after another school year."
"Ah... the school system must be different," Heeseung realized and I simply nodded.
"And then the fact I skipped a grade, but yeah," I hummed at him with a nod.
"You skipped a grade?" Niki exclaimed at me and I hummed with a small shrug, "how do you skip a whole grade?"
"I came from an elite boarding school to a normal high school," I simply shrugged, "so apparently I was a whole grade ahead, compared to the rest of my actual year."
"Then actually... it would be best for you to transfer schools right now, and take your exams in November," Sunghoon stated, "and then graduate now."
"But... I just wanted to go back and graduate with my class," I muttered before sighing and running a hand through my hair, "okay... no more of this talk. I don't want to hear it right now... practice!"
