a few hours later and the room was filled with chatter and laughter whilst the music was blasting in my ears, the downstairs was covered in strobe lights and lasers whilst the walls had banners surrounding them, everyone that either knew r5 or megan or any of my sibling where literally here, it was so cramped
i laughed at the boys dance moves as i take a sip from my cup filled of coke, i didnt drink a lot but this coke tasted funny, like vodka i guess, i tried it once before when i was younger, regret it still.
i head over to the kitchen to refill my drink as i look to my right to see rocky and megan making out on my kitchen counter
how nice.
i roll my eyes and continued to pour my drink when i feel an arm go around my waist, assuming it's ross i lean my head into his neck a little and place the bottle down to turn and face ross
"ross?" as i turned around this guy was no where near ross
he had dark hair and a strong jawline, i mean ross' jawline was better but still
i pull his arms off me but he placed them back, i slide out from under his arms taking my drink with me and run to the front room to find ross sat on the couch surrounded by girls
damn.
i feel my eyes water slightly as i spot riker with elliot on the dance floor still, i run over to them ignoring the flashing lights and music and focus on my breathing and before i knew it i was in rikers arms as he held my head into his chest
"what's up?" he furrows his eyebrows
i turn towards ross and then back to riker, he shakes his head
"ignore that, please, it's your party, he's not doing anything funny with them, there just talking"
i shake the tears away and take a huge sip from my drink that suddenly made me feel like i was on another level of drunk
i stumble my way to rydel who's dancing away, i try to get her attention but the music is just way to loud for talking so i decide to join in and dance my emotions away

a few minutes go past and my drink was out again, i throw my cup into the sink and join rydel again, i shake my hips to the music as i feel someone's arms around my waist swaying with me
i turn around to see ross with a smirk on his face
"what are you doing?" i turn to face him
"dancing with you" he leans his head into my head forcing my hips to dance with his
"weren't you busy with the other girls?" i refuse to dance
"what?" he shot up from my neck and stared into my eyes with his eyebrows raised
"you were sat with loads of them" i turn my head away from him so he cant see the fact my eyes are watering
"what? them?" he sounds shocked
i nod slowly
"those girls, are old friends, they tried coming onto me-
they what?
"they what?" i shout facing him again
"that's why i came over to you, i only wanted to catch up with them, then one tried getting on my lap and that's when i came over here" he shook his head multiple times
i turn my head away from him again
i don't reply due to the fact i'm in shock still until ross grabs my face gently with one of his hands forcing me to face him
"i'm sorry" he whispers getting closer to my face
i lean my forehead against his and close my eyes trying to ignore everything that happened
ross leans in slowly and presses his lips up against mine that caused me to jump slightly, i feel ross' hand go to side of my thigh tugging at it slightly making me jump into his chest wrapping my legs around his waist without breaking the kiss
ross carried me over to kitchen and placed me on the counter as he pulled away
"such a tease" i smiled weakly
"i have to do this first" he smirked
he grabbed a glass cup from the cupboard and a pen from the drawer and starting hitting the glass to get everyone attention
it went silent and the music turned down and i could finally think
"everyone, it's almost midnight and i just wanted to say a little something to kenzie so i wrote her this to explain my feelings" he faced me and gave me a quick smile before grabbing the guitar that was leant against the fridge, why was it against the fridge? who knows
i interwined my own fingers in my lap and waited for ross to start singing
in summer we met
we started as friends

as ross slowly played the outro i felt the tears for real this time, rolling down my face.
eveything he did just made me fall for him more, and i knew that when he left? everything would change, but i couldn't let him go, let us just be history? like that? i couldn't do it, we had to try, at least.
"ross i-
"shh, just come here" he picked me up from the counter as he put the guitar on the floor, i wrapped my legs around his waist and buried my head into his neck letting the tears fall as he placed his hands under my bum holding me up
the room was filled with 'woos' and 'yeahs' as i cried into his neck
i pulled away too soon and crushed my lips into his, the music starting playing louder as ross dropped me down onto the floor slowly backing away from the kiss
i pout once he pulled away.
"more for later" he smirked
i rolled my eyes as he pulled me onto the dance floor, one of my favourite songs were on, i felt my hips swaying to the music as ross wraps his arms around my waist swaying with me, getting into the groove of it
i leant my head back into ross' chest and felt him stare down at me
honestly at this point i just wanted to go to sleep, the coke i drunk? definitely wasn't coke
"i'm gonna get some water" i shout into ross' ear
"is everything okay? it's your party! drink" he smiled
"yeah, just feel dizzy" i smiled weakly as i headed to the kitchen to grab a cup of water
i grabbed a fresh cup and headed to the fridge and pressed my cup under the button and waited for my drink
as it finished filling the cup perfectly to the brim, i felt someone's arms wrap round my waist, i lean my hips into them a little, assuming it was ross once again
i turn around to put my drink down as see the same dark haired, strong jaw-lined man looking into my eyes
"can you stop? i have a boyfriend" i give him a dirty look before setting my drink down and quickly looking to see where ross was before bringing my drink back up to my lips and drinking it
i didn't even know if me and ross were 'boyfriend and girlfriend' i mean we were keeping it on the low, so i guess not but i really needed an ascus to get away from that guy
i've definitely seen him before
i take small sips of water knowing that if i was to drink it normally i would end up throwing up everything i've eaten for the last month
once i finished my drink i made my way to the couch to find ross and rocky laughing about something, i place myself next to ross and lean my head on the side of the couch
"tired?" i heard rocky laugh
i nod my head slightly
"let's have one more dance, then i'll tell everyone to go, i'm tired aswell" ross shrugs as he pats my leg with one of his hands
i agree, so with that ross stands up and grabs my hand pulling me back to the dance floor where it felt like i had spent most my night
the music slows down and with that i place my hands on ross' shoulder and lean into his chest with his arms around my waist

we were still swaying to the song as i felt a sudden gush of dizziness, i clutch into ross' shirt tighter and he must've realised
"are you okay?" he whispered into my ear
i nod my head and try swallow all my feelings and just have a good night
the songs soon ends as i feel myself getting worse and worse as the minutes went on, ross went to pull away to turn the next song off and tell everyone to leave as i grab onto him trying to steady myself
"woah woah" he grabs onto my arms and lifts me up from him
"sit" he pulls me over to the kitchen table and placed me down kneeling in front of me
"what did you drink?" he furrows his eyebrows
knowing that im turning 17 in a few days i could only drink a small amount of alcohol that was below 30%, whatever was in that coke had way more than that, you could tell.
"just my coke, and i had some shots but they were under 30%" i start to feel my head hurt and i rub my hand against it
"and my water" i finish
he nods his head with worry in his eyes
"i'm gonna tell everyone to go, you look really tired"
i nod as i hear him tell everyone the party was over, i was sat alone in the kitchen as i saw the same dark haired guy walking around the front room
"didn't you hear? the party's over!" i heard riker shout from the stairs, he could tell i was looking over at him
he suddenly realised as ran, literally ran, out the door
i leant my head against the chair and shut my eyes slowly
i heard the front door shut causing me to jump a little
"tonight was fun" elliot smiled
"very"
"yess"
i couldn't really tell who was talking by this point
i know ross and the others would only buy alcohol that was under 30%, max, mason, riker and rydel all agreed to only go under 30% so i don't know how i was so wasted
i try to get up from the chair and try clean up a little, i didn't want the other to worry about it
as i stood up i felt the same gush of dizziness, but this time it was 10x worse, it hit me harder than before and knocked me completely out
black was my new vision.
