Your POV

You and Andi made it to the park an hour before it opened. You both wanted to make sure you had enough time to use the restroom and eat fast food before you went in. It was cheaper eating that than getting food inside.

You had your hair back in two long, thick Dutch braids. You had a pair of Nike running shorts, a white t-shirt, and running shoes on. You kept a crewneck in your drawstring bag just in case it got cold tonight.

Andi has never been to an amusement park, let alone on a roller coaster. You on the other hand loved going to these places and riding everything that came into your sight. The thrill of falling sometimes, lifting you out of your seat, made you feel like you were flying.

"I have to ride a few rides before the boys come. I can't embarrass myself. Not in front of them." Andi shook her head. "I'm already anxious. I feel like I could cry right now just thinking about dropping on a steel machine that could break and result in my death."

"Andi, you're going to be okay. You're not going to die." You tried to reassure her. "At least not today."

You smirked at your best friend making her laugh, easing up her anxiousness.

"If I do die today, it better be when they get here. Only because that would be a cool story to tell at my funeral. Andrea Grace, dead because she decided to ride a roller coaster with her best friend, Tom Holland, and Harrison Osterfield."

You chuckled only saying, "Morbid."

It was finally time to go inside. It took almost thirty minutes trying to convince Andi to get on one ride. Finally, she caved. She held a death grip on your arm as the vertical drop came into view, making a small bruise appear where her fingers were pressing. It was worth it though. After that one ride, she was ready for the next.

By the time it hit noon, you were starting to feel nervous. You were having such a great time riding rides, going through gift shops, meeting your favorite Disney characters. You even got hit on by Gaston. You knew that Tom got out of meetings soon, making him and Harrison start to head this way. You didn't want this day to be awkward.

"Hey what's wrong?" Andi asked picking up on your change of demeanor.

"Nothing." You lied.

"(Y/n), I think I know you better than that. What's bothering you?"

"I'm just nervous for when they get here." You sighed. "I don't want this to be awkward where I don't know what to say the whole time."

"How do you get through life if you're not comfortable getting to know new people? You were a waitress during college. Your job was literally to meet new people every day, and your customers loved you. Some would come back and specifically ask for you. How come you can be normal around them?"

"That is not a good analogy. I don't have to spend time with my customers for hours. I just take their orders, bring their food out to them, and check on them from time to time. These are two people who I've never talked to in my life before yesterday, coming to hang out with just the two of us for the rest of the day."

Andi was about to respond when her phone dinged. "That was Harrison. He said they'll be here in less than an hour. They're gonna change and grab some food. I told them we'll meet at the Main Street Cinema, which is back near the entrance."

She looked at you before continuing, "Hey it's all going to be okay. It's going to be a lot of fun. It might be awkward at first because you are an awkward person." You laughed at her jab. "But, after spending some time with them, talking, you'll relax. For all you know we could end up becoming good friends with these two. Who wouldn't want to be our friends? We're awesome."

You smiled. She was right. You were overreacting about this whole thing. Just have to get past the getting to know you phase then all would be good. Breathe. There was a chance you could end up having a really fun day with these two strangers.

"I'm highly surprised you're not freaking out right now. I've been expecting you to fangirl over the fact that Haz just texted you."

"Bold of you to assume I'm not. I'm trying very hard right now not to squeal and jump up and down. It's taking a lot of self-control."

Before you knew it, you and Andi were standing at the cinema looking around for Tom and Harrison.

"Hey! Hey! Over here!" Andi was shouting and waving her arms in the air. You could see two figures walking in your direction with hats, sunglasses, and flannels on.

"Just add a hoodie and nobody will know who they are." You whispered to Andi. You smiled to yourself thinking of Marvel and how people were upset with the superhero's incognito looks until Jake Gyllenhaal took them by surprise in Far From Home.

"Hey. Glad y'all could make it." Andi was smiling ear to ear.

"Yeah. We're ready to ride some rides. I really want to meet Mickey." Tom said smiling as well.

"Well let's go." Andi took off walking in the direction of the first ride of the day for the boys. You walked a little behind the three.

You looked down and started popping your fingers, a nervous habit of yours until someone nudged your arm.

Tom's POV

"Penny for your thoughts?" I asked falling behind Andi and Haz to walk beside (y/n).

"Sorry, it actually costs a dime for my thoughts."

I searched my pockets pulling out a penny and a nickel. "Damn. I only have six cents."

It was corny, but for the first time, I saw (y/n) laugh with a smile. It made her look even more beautiful than she already was. I couldn't help but stare.

"Are you trying to read my thoughts now since you don't have enough to pay?" She asked making me realize I needed to look away.

I could feel the heat rising up my cheeks. I cleared my throat, "You caught me. I was trying to be polite and pay for you to tell me, but I can read minds. That seemed to be the cheaper route."

"Hmmm. Alright then mind reader, what was I thinking then?" I liked this playful mood she was in.

"You were thinking about how handsome I am." I smirked at her, making her chuckle.

"Close." She looked up at me. "I was actually thinking about how you're being blessed by my presence."

"Oh?" I laughed raising an eyebrow. "Is that right? Well, I think you're wrong. You changed your mind last minute because you didn't like being caught thinking about me."

"Are you always this cocky? Not a good look for you my friend."

"Are we friends now?"

"Still deciding. Buy me a popsicle later and I'll give you my answer."

There was something about this girl. She wasn't being as quiet as she was yesterday. I think she's warming up to me.

All four of us were standing in line for Space Mountain. The wait time to get on was supposed to be an hour long. (Y/n) went back to being quiet, turning her stud earrings or popping her fingers. I wanted to get her out of her nervous state and back to the playful mood she was in earlier when it was just the two of us talking.

Haz and Andi seemed to be hitting it off. He was nervous about coming today, but I think he's really enjoying himself now.

We'd been standing in line for about twenty minutes when Andi pulled out her phone. She gave (y/n) a look before turning her attention back on me and Haz.

"Okay, so we're going to play a little game that I know is in fact a good time waster. It's called Heads Up. You'll pick a category and place the phone on your head. A word that goes with the category will pop up and the other three have to describe what it is. If you guess it correctly, you tilt the phone down. If you pass, you tilt the phone up. You are timed so if you just don't know, skip."

I've heard of this game before, but I haven't played it yet.

"(Y/n), would you like to go first? Show the boys how it's done." Andi handed the phone over to (y/n).

"Is she really good at guessing or something?" Haz asked Andi.

"Believe it or not, but (y/n) is very competitive. She knows a bunch of games and does not like to lose in any of them. The only defeat she'll take is if it is Uno."

"Uno is and always will be my downfall in games. That game does not like me." (Y/n) said looking at the different categories. "I think I'll go with Disney. It's only fitting."

She put the phone up to her forehead and stared at the three of us. The first word: Cinderella. We had sixty seconds in total to try and describe each character that popped up on the screen. In the end, (y/n) had thirty-one correct, only skipping once because none of us knew who the character was.

It was funny, the look of determination she had in her eyes to guess as many as she could.

"Tom, I pass the phone to you." (Y/n) handed the phone to me and I started looking through the list of options. "I'm going with the show Friends."

I placed the phone to my forehead and I could hear the countdown from five starting. Haz, Andi, and (y/n) all started shouting out their descriptions of what my word was. I wasn't looking, but if I were to look at everyone else who was in line with us, they would probably think we were crazy.

I guessed the character Joey instantly when (y/n) gave me a look and said, "How you doin?" Haz doubled over laughing at her. She went from being quiet to yelling all because of a game. She was not holding back wanting to make sure everyone would guess their words if she knew it.

We finally made it to the front of the line. The worker in front of us was telling people what line to go stand-in for when the gates open to let the next passengers get in. Andi and Haz were in front of (y/n) and me. He made them go into line three and us in line four. This was the first ride she wasn't riding with Andi. Every ride so far I've been sitting next to Haz if it was a two-seater.

"Are you nervous?" I asked taunting (y/n).

"No, but if you are I'll hold your hand." She gave me a smirk.

I was taken aback for a second. She gave me a comeback so fast I wasn't sure how to recover. I smiled when I thought of something, "If you wanted to hold my hand so bad you could've just asked."

She rolled her eyes but smiled at me as she started to sit down on the ride.

"Stop flirting you two." Haz turned around in front of us sending a wink.

I looked over at (y/n). Her cheeks were a pink color, I'm guessing just as pink as mine. Thanks for that Haz. Way to ruin the moment.

After the ride, we decided we all needed a break to eat.

"So (y/n), what did you major in?" Haz asked starting a conversation as we took our seats in the restaurant.

"Journalism."

"Where are you planning on working? Or do you not know yet?"

"Um, I don't have anything set in stone. I have a few jobs I'm interested in back home, but I can't decide if I want to move or not."

"Move? Where are you thinking about moving to?" I asked.

"I don't know that either." She gave a light heart chuckle. "I like change. I like different settings. I don't want to leave my mom and Andi, but I want to see the world. If given a good opportunity, I would move almost anywhere."

"She said she doesn't want to leave me. As if. Anywhere she goes, I'll be there with her along for the ride." Andi laughed taking a bite out of her chicken.

"What about your family?" I asked even more curious about how (y/n) only mentioned her mom.

"Well, it's only my mom and me. My dad left when I was in middle school my seventh-grade year. We were living in Colorado at the time. My mom decided to move us to South Carolina a year later so her parents could help raise me. That's when I met Andi here." (Y/n) slung her arm around Andi giving her shoulder a squeeze and a smile. "Met my freshman year of high school. Been best friends ever since."

"My parents love (y/n). They treat her as if she's their own daughter, even though they have six kids including me. May not be blood-related, but we're family." Andi returned the smile (y/n) gave her.

"I'm sorry. You didn't have to answer that." I felt bad for prying.

"Oh no. If I didn't want to answer, I didn't have to. It doesn't phase me much anymore. I got a sister out of it all, and I couldn't ask for anything else." (Y/n) gave a genuine smile to me before digging into her food.

We kept the conversation light after that. Talking about how Haz and I met. It was nice how easy today has been. Who knew hanging out with two people you just met the day before at Disneyland could be so much fun.

Heading back outside, we walked through a few stores not wanting our food to come back up if we went on a ride. (Y/n) bought all of us matching Mickey ears to wear for the rest of day.

Andi made Haz and me her personal photographer. She made (y/n) take a picture with her in the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough.

"Hey, I'm sorry to bother you. Could you possibly take a photo of all of us please?" Andi asked a random stranger walking by. The girl nodded back. "Thank you so much. Tom, Haz come on." She waved her hand telling us to join the picture.

Haz stood by Andi, and I stood by (y/n). Andi and (y/n) were in the middle. We all wrapped our arms around each other smiling for the picture.

"Am I allowed to post this? I won't tag you two." Andi asked looking at the picture.

"Yeah go ahead. Will you actually send that to me?" Haz asked looking over Andi's shoulder down at her phone.

"Oh my god. Guys I know where we have to go now." (Y/n) grabbed Andi's arm pulling her through the walkway, making us follow behind. "It is time for the famous teacups."

"Oh, it is so on. We all better be working together to spin it as fast as possible. It will not be acceptable to not be the fastest teacup." Haz was practically sprinting to get in line.

We all sat down. Once the ride started all hands were on the wheel trying to get the cup to spin. All of us were leaning, trying our hardest to get the wheel to turn, but it wouldn't budge.

"The damn thing is broken."

Andi started laughing at Haz. "Haz, we're being beaten by ten-year-olds at the moment." We all started laughing at how slow this thing was turning.

"It's okay. We'll get back in line after this is over." (Y/n) said to Haz holding back the laugh trying to escape her lips.

"No. My pride has been hurt by the two ten years old pointing and laughing at us." Haz said glaring at the boys next to us spinning the wheel to go even faster.

The day was starting to come to an end. We decided that Haunted Mansion should be our last ride of the day before heading out. After riding the few fast rides over and over, we just wanted to do a slow one.

I sat by (y/n) mainly watching her look at everything. Nothing was scary in here, but she seemed fascinated by the story they were telling as the ride took us through each room.

"I had a fun time today. Thanks for joining us." Andi said as we made our way to the transport to take us to our cars.

"It was a lot of fun. Thanks for inviting us. Maybe we'll see you two before you head back home." I said hoping there would be a yes.

"Yeah definitely. We don't leave till next Sunday. Just have to make plans before then." Andi smiled pushing her red curly hair behind her shoulders.

"Okay sounds good then. Bye (y/n), Andi." Haz said waving to the two girls.

Your POV

You couldn't help but stare at the two as you watched them drive away on the transport.

"So, you had fun right?" Andi asked dragging out the o in so.

"Yeah, I did. I had a lot of fun. I'm kinda sad it's over now." You two started walking over to your car.

"Well, you and lover boy seemed to get along just great." She gave you a toothy grin.

"Don't call him that. I've only known him for two days now."

"Yeah but you two just kept flirting all day. It was obvious."

You didn't like this attention being brought up making your cheeks warm. "Oh yeah? What about you and Haz?"

"Please. We were talking about you two mostly."

"Oh." Was all you could say getting into the passenger seat. "Well, it was nothing. I did as you said and started to get comfortable around the two."

"Hopefully now you'll stop calling them strangers." She pulled out of the parking lot and started heading back to the house.

"Do you really think we'll see them again?"

"I hope so." It was quiet after that. Both of you thinking of the day you just had.

You pulled out your phone and looked at the pictures Andi sent you of the two of you. You stopped swiping when you saw the picture of all four of you. Tom's arm was around your waist and yours on his. He took off his sunglasses and had a huge smile. You saved the photo making it your home screen saver.
