Off in the distance you could hear, Usopp
and Sanji's yells of confusion and pain.
"Ah~ What wonderful sounds." Faythe giggled quietly.
"What was that?" Zoro called over from where he was pulling up the anchor over the railings, onto the ship. Nami and Princess Vivi were dashing as quickly as they could. Though how would Faythe care, she has wings.
"Nothing! Just talking to myself!" Faythe smiled.
"Ya right.. Weirdo.." Zoro muttered before placing the anchor down.
"HEY!"
Both Faythe and Zoro turned to see Luffy dragging behind him, Usopp by the nose, and Sanji his leg.
Dragging them by their proud traits was the most hilarious thing Faythe and Zoro had seen all night.
"I BROUGHT THE GUYS!"
"Good, now get on. We're ready to leave at any moment now." Zoro let out his last chuckle before taking a deep breath.
Luffy turned around on his luggage confused, "Huh? Are you guys still sleeping?"
"WE DONT HAVE TIME TO GO LOOK FOR HIM!"
Faythe turned to see the new voice shout out. She only saw the Princess and Nami arguing at a time like this.
"BUT I CAN'T JUST LEAVE HIM HERE..." The Princess retorted.
"What's wrong?" Zoro perked up at the shouting.
"She says her duck is missing and won't come even after whistling!" Nami waved her hand around exhausted.
"You mean him?" Zoro pointed beside him to the very subject of the argument.
The duck raised it large wing in the air as to wave back at them from his position on the ship.
"Ya, this fella, was here before me and Zoro got here!" Faythe laughed smiling.
"THAT'S WHERE YOU WERE!?" Both Nami and the Princess shouted in sync irritated.
Upon boarding the ship, everyone had made it and was now sailing out, Faythe had flown up and untied the sails.
"Turn the boat around to head down this river and we should be able to reach the ocean! We have to leave as quickly as possible!" The Princess called from the first deck hurriedly.
"Hey, so how many guys are gonna come after us?" Luffy questioned from the second deck.
"I can't say for sure. There's reportedly 2000 people working for Baroque Works, and towns like Whiskey Peak aren't uncommon either..." Called out the Princess.
"You mean we could have 1000 people after us!?" Nami exclaimed.
"It's possible considering how serious knowing the Boss' real identity is." she confirmed.
/;/~***~/;/
"WHAT'S GOING ON!?"
"WHY DID WE HAVE TO SET SAIL SO SOON!?"
"CAN'T WE STAY AT LEAST ONE MORE NIGHT!? THEIR PARTY WAS A BLAST AND THEY HAVE SO MANY CUTE GIRLS!"
"THAT'S RIGHT YOU HAVE NO IDA IF WE'LL EVER COME ACROSS A TOWN AS NICE AS THIS ONE!"
"So let's take things nice and easy! We are pirates, you know!"
"I MEAN THE SUN HASNT EVEN RISEN YET!"
"COME ON, LET'S GO BACK!"
Both Sanji and Usopp bombarded the crew with questions as to why they were leaving so quickly.
"I think you oughta go explain to them what happened..." Zoro muttered looking at Nami with a side glance.
"Consider it done."
Next thing they know, is that the two loud men were now knocked out on the deck with bruised faces. You could see the smoke and steam rising from the bruises. Faythe was leaning on the rails cackling at the scene, while the Princess and Luffy sweated nervously upon the steam rising.
"The fog is lifting."
"Its almost morning."
The crew was silent for a second until they heard a petite voice.
"Be careful not to crash your ship into the rocks near the shore. And Congratulations on your escape."
♥
"Wha!?"
"WHO'S THAT!?"
"What a nice ship this is." The voice came again, the whole ship turned to see a woman sit on the rails placed on the second floor.
"I must tell you, Ms. Wednesday, I met up with Mr. 8 just a little while ago..."
"Are you saying... It was you who did that to Igaram...!?" The princess whispered in pure horror. The dread was sweating down her face.
"Hey! Why're you on our ship, anyways!?" Luffy called out.
"WHAT'RE YOU DOING ALL THE WAY OUT HERE, MISS ALL-SUNDAY!"
"Who is it this time!? Whose partner is she!?" Nami turned quickly to the Princess.
"She's the only one who knows the Boss' true identity, which is why Igaram and I tailed after her, to find out who the boss was as well!"
"Well, technically, It was more like I let you tail after me." Miss All-Sunday placed her chin in the palm of her hand, smiling.
"Oh, so she's a good guy." Luffy concluded with his arms crossed.
"I ALREADY KNEW THAT! AND I BET YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TOLD THE BOSS THAT HIS IDENTITY WAS LEAKED!" The Princess countered.
"Smooth counter." Faythe finger gunned the female.
"Oh, so she's a bad guy!" Luffy huffed, narrowing his eyes back up to the mysterious lady.
"JUST WHAT EXCATLY IS YOUR OBJECTIVE!?"
Faythe raised her arms as she saw a grin rise from that small smile on Miss All-Sunday's face.
"Now, now... No need to get so worked up. I only let you follow me because you looked so desperate..." She crossed her leg over the other in a feminine way.
"And it was just too amusing to observe, a single Princess who foolishly thinks she can take on the entire Baroque Works Organization and save her kingdom."
Faythe took one glance at the Princess and shot forward when she heard her say these words.
"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!"
In a matter of seconds the crew had the lady surrounded, Usopp was on one side of her, pointing his sling shot. While Sanji was on the other side, pointing a gun close to her head. Nami and Zoro had already whipped out their weapons. Faythe had already transformed into her bird form and behind her, her talons raised.
The Princess froze in shock at the speed the pirate crew was ready to attack.
"Hey... Do you understand what's going on...?" Usopp muttered to Sanji.
"No... But I do know for sure, is that this woman's a threat to my lovely Miss Wednesday...!" Sanji replied with a frown, glaring at the woman.
The woman sighed tiredly, like she's been in this situation before.
"Would you please mind..." Both Sanji and Usopp were thrown over the railings, back on the front deck. Faythe was thrown to the wall behind her.
"Not pointing such dangerous weapons at me?"
"WHAT!?"
"ITS A DEVIL FRUIT!"
"OHHHH!?"
At that moment, Nami and Zoro's weapons were smacked away from them.
"Is it a Devil Fruit!?" Zoro yelled out.
"Didn't you just hear the Princess!?" Faythe complained back, now lounging back on the wall lazily.
"What ability does she have!?"
"WHOA SHES A BEAUTY!" Sanji now just realized this after he pointed a gun to her forehead.
Ignoring all the comments about her, she kept her gaze on the Princess, then to the Captain.
"Fufufufu... No need to get so riled up. I haven't come here on any orders nor do I have any reasons for fighting you people."
A sudden tug on Luffy's straw hat was blown off off his head magically, almost levitating. It flew directly to the Lady's hand for it to just twirl around her finger.
"So you're the Captain of the Straw-Hat Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy." She smirked.
Luffy erupted instantly in pure rage, "GIMMIE BACK MY HAT! SO YOU ARE TRYING TO PICK A FIGHT WITH US, ARE YA NOW!?"
"IVE NOW DECIDED TO SEE YOU AS MY ENEMY SO COME AT ME!" Usopp shouted behind the mast pillar, the only thing you could see was his finger pointing at the lady.
"Ma'am."
"Hm-" The woman didnt have time to speak until she had a sharp feather directed at her throat. Faythe stood behind her, one of her longer feathers that she grew out was now inching at a close range near her neck.
"I ask you once and only once. Give back the Captain's hat, per his orders." Faythe said, as feathers cascaded down her face.
"Oh~" The woman's face lit up with a smirk, instantly Faythe felt like her arm was smacked away and something grab the feather out from her hand, twisting her arm up her back. Faythe fell forward letting out a grit, holding back the muffle of pain.
"Faythe!" The princess called out.
Sanji stepped forward a bit, but Zoro blocked his path.
"How unfortunate... Small-time Pirates having to look after a Princess targeted by the entire Baroque Works Organization... And a lone Princess having to entrust herself to a few small time pirates...." The lady placed Luffy's straw hat, on top of her own cowboy hat.
'she said it twice...!' Faythe thought annoyed.
"But above all, how unfortunate your route pointed out by your Log Pose is..!" She did a fake dramatic gasp, before continuing.
"The name of the next place on your journey is, 'Little Garden.' Even if I weren't to lay a single finger on you, Its more likely that you'd still never reach Alabasta..! Without even meeting Crocodile, the curtains will close on your mission and lives."
"ASIF WE'D JUST ROLL OVER AND DIE! NOW UNARM MY NAKAMA AND GIVE ME BACK MY HAT!"
"YEAH, HOW DARE YOU! Y-YOU BIG MEANIE!"
"Let Faythe go!"
"Enough howling, anyone could put up a brave front." With a snap of her fingers, something was flown into Princess Vivi's hands, while Luffy got his hat back. Faythe still felt her arms restrained.
"Oi! What about me!?" Faythe growled a bit, feeling the strain on her arms still pull a bit, in a not so good angle.
"I'll let you go when I leave. Undertraining you would only leave you to attack me." The woman hummed thoughtfuly.
Faythe only narrowed her eyes at her before looking away and scowling.
"An Eternal Pose!?" Princess Vivi examined the objet that was tossed to her.
"You'll be able to skip over your future troubles with that. The needle of that Log Pose points to the uninhabited 'vacant islands,' located right before Alabasta. Moreover the route you'll be navigating on is unknown to Baroque Works so you wont be followed by anyone either." Miss All-Sunday tilted her cowboy hat to the side, smiling.
"What? Is she not a bad person then?" Nami looked up a bit taken aback.
"W-WHY WOULD YOU GIVE SUCH A THING TO ME!?" The Princess demanded still angry.
"...It's probably a trap." Zoro commented, glancing between the struggling Parrot crewmate and the mysterious woman that is their enemy.
"Oh, I wonder about that..." Miss All-Sunday muttered amused.
Luffy walked up to the Princess, his hat tilting over his eyes.
"Enough wasting time with that!"
"Huh?" Luffy grabbed the Eternal Pose from her hands in his grip and raised it up to the air, shattering it with one movement. His face was placed with a frown.
"ARE YOU AN IDIOT!?" Nami came flying in and did a upper kick in his face, knocking him over.
"SHE CAME OUT ALL THE WAY HERE TO TEACH US THE SAFEST ROUTE TO ALABASTA! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IF SHE DOES TURN OUT TO BE A GOOD PERSON!?" Nami pointed to the mysterious person.
"Nami, shut up!" Faythe called out, her brows furrowed. The woman in question raised a brow to the feathered girl.
Luffy turned his head to Miss-All Sunday, and boy was he angry to be bossed around.
"DONT YOU DARE THINK, THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE THE PATH OF OUR JOURNEY!"
"I see... How unfortunate..." The woman's face darkened with a small smile, never blinking.
"Where's the fun and sense of adventure if we just skip the dangerous islands!?" Faythe called out laughing. Miss-All Sunday turned to Faythe and blinked once, her smile was one of amusement.
"LUFFY!"
"She blew up that curly haired mister so I hate her!" Luffy grinded his teeth.
"Well I dont dislike bold people... Let us meet again soon if you survive, Straw hat." She smiled, her hat tilting down her face.
"I dont wanna." Luffy replied quickly.
"And you, Feathered Parrot." Those were the last words before she disappeared, along with the restrains on Faythe.
Faythe got up, rounding her arms in circles to see if she sprained something. She only got a bruised shaped hand on both her wrists but that was it. She leaped down to meet the crew.
"FAYTHE-CHAN! Are you hurt!?" Sanji came dashing to her, along with Usopp and Nami.
"Ya, I'm okay. just some bruises." She smiled waving her hand to dismiss their worries.
"That lady was scary- I mean! Ha! She ran away a coward!" Usopp laughed nervously.
"Are you sure, Faythe? It looked like it hurt." Nami said examining her wrists.
"Yep, just underestimated her."
"That was reckless." Zoro commented from the mast he was leaning on.
"Reckless? Yes. Stupid? No." Faythe grinned, patting Nami's shoulder.
"How so?" Usopp tilted his head?
"Well, at least I didn't think what I did was stupid. I just tried to get back our Captain's treasure." Faythe tilted her head thinking.
Sanji paused a hummed in agreement. While Zoro was satisfied with her answer. Nami and Usopp shook their head as if disagreeing wit her action.
"WHOA, IT'S A TURTLE!"
"WHERE!?" Faythe whipped her head towards the shout.
"Over there!" Luffy pointed out to the woman from earlier riding off on a giant turtle.
"Wow..!" Faythe's eyes lit up at the sight.
"What a huge turtle..." Luffy muttered with a smile on his face.
"That woman...! I dont have the faintest idea what she's really planning!" The Princess slumped down onto her knees all gloomy.
"Then it's a waste of time and effort to think about it." Nami grinned.
"We've got an incomprehensible like her onboard too, ya know." Zoro frowned with his brows raised.
"Hey! Explain the situation to us!" Usopp shouted, Faythe had totally forgot that two of their crewmates were still in the dark.
"Will Miss Wednesday be joining our crew?" Sanji fawned over the idea.
"I said explain what's going on already!"
"Wow! We have an ostrich on our ship!"
"Its a duck." Faythe corrected.
"Are you really alright with me riding on your ship..? I may be just putting all of you into danger, like what happened earlier to Faythe." Princess Vivi got even more gloomier.
"Oh please." Nami taunted annoyed, "Its already your fault that they found about us and how we look like!" Nami repeatedly tapped the Princess' forehead aggressively. Faythe crouched down next to her.
"If you didn't want trouble in the first place, then you should've done so to begin with!" Nami finished her scolding.
"Plus, I dont think your in a position to worry about us, since we are to escort you, to Alabasta." Faythe hugged the Princess tightly as to ease her worrying.
"Right, luffy?"
"IT'S MORNING! SANJI! TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" Luffy shouted happily, raising his fist into the air.
"We can take that as a yes, Princess." Faythe laughed and winked at her.
"I- " The princess looked down and smiled, "I guess I have no choice to believe you."
"Good choice."
Standing up, Faythe walked over to the railings and gazed out to the sea, rubbing her bracelet that hung loosely from her wrist.
"Now then... Sine the sun is up, Let's set sail!" Luffy shouted.
"HELLO? ANYBODY LISTENING? COULD REAAAAALLY USE AN EXPLANATION HERE!"
"MISS WEDNESDAY! MIGHT YOU BE AQUIANTED WITH THAT BEAUTIFUL LADY JUST NOW?"
Faythe closed her eyes, listening to the noise of her crewmates laughing and shouting. The wind flowing past her face, making her ponytail flow with it.
'Welp, I wonder what adventures we'll have next.' she smiled at the thought.
