"Eren!" you called out to the boy as he entered the dining pavilion with Armin.
You were already sat at a table with Mikasa, Jean, Connie, Sasha, Christa, and Levi. The two of them headed towards your table, their trays in hand.
"y/n, I need your honest opinion on this," Armin said as he sat his tray down across from you.
"Hit me," you replied while picking over the vegetables that were piled up on the side of your tray because you didn't want to eat them.
"Do you think Eren should try being a bit more careful with who he trusts?" Armin asked.
"Yeah," you replied simply before picking up a piece of broccoli and flicking it at the unsuspecting Eren.
"One, stop throwing the food you don't want to eat at me. And two, I'm plenty careful," Eren scowled.
"Ok Mr. I Almost Got Kidnapped Twice," you replied with an eye roll.
"I wasn't expecting it to happen!" Eren defended, raising his voice a little.
"I'm assuming you're not supposed to be expecting to be kidnapped. That's the whole point!" you retorted while also starting to raise your voice.
"So what? I came out fine both times, I don't see the problem!" Eren argued back, his voice increasing in volume.
"What if it happens again, but next time it doesn't go as planned!? What if you end up gone forever?" you asked, bringing up your voice along with Eren.
The others just sat back and observed, Levi sending tiny glares to Eren when he would yell at you.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought this up, but please stop yelli-" Armin tried to intervene, but was cut off by Eren.
"Not now Armin," Eren said with his voice a bit softer.
"I'm fine, I don't need you worrying about me!" Eren shouted, picking up where the argument left off.
"I can't help that I worry about when you get kidnapped!?" you yelled in a more question-like format, but using a tone that made it sound like the most obvious thing in the world.
"You're acting like my mom or something!" Eren returned your energy, yelling just as loud.
"Listen Eren," your voice got quiet.
The calm before the storm...
"I LOVE YOU AND ALL, BUT YOU'RE ACTING LIKE A TOTAL IDIOT! ALL I'M SAYING IS THAT YOU SHOULD BE A LITTLE MORE CAREFUL WITH PEOPLE SO SOMETHING LIKE WHAT HAPPENED A FEW DAYS AGO DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN!" you shouted at the top of your lungs.
"Oh my gosh," Marlin said with pure shock. You thought it was because of your outburst, but it was actually from what you said.
Everyone at the table wore shocked expressions, some showing it more than others. Eren had the most shock on his face, while Mikasa had the least, everybody else in the middle.
"What?" Eren asked, his tone completely calm compared to what it was before.
"What do you mean 'wHaT'? Did I not make it clear enough by yelling at you?!" you asked, anger fuming out of you.
"Not that, what did you just say?" Eren asked, confusion evident in his voice.
"To stop being an idiot and be more careful?" you asked, equally as confused.
"No, before that," Eren corrected you.
You thought about it, and suddenly what you said earlier hit you like a ton of bricks.
Ah shit.
"You fucking idiot! How do you not realize you confessed your feelings to your crush?! And say you LOVE them no less?!" Marlin shouted at you.
"Fuck," was all you were able to say before Eren grabbed your hand and dragged you out and into the halls.
"Nobody follow," he said to the table of his friends, knowing at least 3 of them would try to follow.
"Go get some!" Connie yelled out.
"She about to be in a wheel chair for weeks after that!" Jean joined.
"I see you, get that D!" Sasha commented.
"I better be an aunt when you come back!" Mikasa called out. That comment made you flush the most considering you got Mikasa to say that, and in front of people no less.
"Kill me now!" you groaned, but stopped complaining when you felt Eren stop tugging on your arm.
He stood still in hall, his back turned to you and his head facing down as if the ground was the most interesting thing in the world. Then what this man did next gave you a heart attack.
He did that wall slam thing, protecting your back and head from hitting the wall with on of his arms while the other was pressed against the beside the left side of your face. His face was as read as a tomato and his eyes were averted to the side as if eye contact would kill him in the spot.
"Did you actually mean that?" Eren asked in a low tone, not a deadly one but more an embarrassed one.
"Yeah," you mumbled while looking at the ground.
Eren grabbed your chin after removing his hand from your back, turning it up to look at him.
"Idiot," he muttered with a smile before having his lips make contact with your's.
It took you a minute to register what happened, your eyes widening at the new feeling erupting in your gut. The shock disappearing as you kissed the brunette back.
The kiss wasn't too heated considering where you were, but it definitely had a ton of pent up feelings behind it. (is that even grammar?)
Eren pulled away, placing his forehead against your's as he looked into your eyes, a childish grin on his face.
"The amount of time I have been waiting to do that," Eren chuckled, causing you to smile.
"Well, that was- wow," you said, forgetting how to English.
"So um, will you maybe be my girlfriend?" Eren asked, all of a sudden getting shy.
"Duh," you said as you pulled him into another kiss.
That one was a little longer than before, but still no tongue. (get 🤺back 🤺u 🤺horny🤺 bastards🤺)
"We should probably go back before they suspect of us of doing something else," you said to Eren while grabbing his hand and dragging him back to the table your friends were waiting for you at, giving the brunette no say in the matter.
As the two of you opened the door, Armin and Mikasa immediately rushed over to the two of you.
"Are you finally dating?" Armin asked with an anxious tone.
"Go back, that was too quick for y/n to be pregnant," Mikasa said as she started pushing you two out the door.
"Mikasa, I'm way too young to take care of a kid. I can barely take care of myself!" you replied with a snicker.
"Right, I forget you need parental guidance yourself," Mikasa cursed under her breath.
"To answer your question Armin, yes we are together officially now," Eren replied to his blonde friend.
"Finally," Levi commented.
"You had us all dying from the amount of time you were taking," Sasha over exaggerated.
"Can we at least get a kiss for the amount of time we had to wait for the two of you and the amount of self control we had to not blurt out that you had feelings for each other?" Connie asked.
You shrugged before grabbing Eren's shirt and giving him a quick peck on the lips. Eren's eyes stated on your figure as you talked to your friends, him clicking his tongue as his eyes went to you friends as well after a moment or two.
"Hurt her and I will torture you and then murder you brutally," Levi said in a low threatening tone to Eren, making sure you didn't hear.
"Yes sir," Eren replied in a quiet voice, a small unnoticeable nod being given to the captain.
"Good," Levi glared before going back to observing the conversation that was happening like before, thinking about how he was going to break some big news to most of the kids there...
ik i scared some of y'all with the title and the hints of saying angst but i'm not that cruel. well kinda, but i'm feeling like being kinda nice today so there u go.
also i don't want to write this essay but it's due on friday. like my motivation said "Bye Felisha!"
