Tatums POV-
As Sirius and I walked down and into the common room we were meet with James and a sleeping Peter on the couch.
"Ah, the love birds are up" James smirked, which made me chuckle
"James, your just jealous, and its the middle of the night why are you up?" I remarked, soon relishing I don't deny that Sirius and I were 'love birds'.
"Ha! You didn't deny it!!" James caught on to "and we were waiting till you guys got up, where you guys going" he added, the stupid smirk growing on his face
"James! Not like that, wiredo" Sirius said, making me feel blush rise onto my cheeks "Were just going to the kitchens, we'll be back in an hour or so"
"Sure" James muttered "I'll be here, when you get back" I dint know a smirk couldn't grow so big, but James proved me wrong
"Ok" I chuckled, heading out of the common room, with Sirius a little behind me.
"Sorry about him" he chuckled
"No need to be sorry" I smiled up at him, Merlin, his eyes are so gorgeous- wait.
I have never really thought about my feelings for Sirius, for the past month, I've thought about his as a friend, lately I've seen him a little different...
We made our way down to the kitchens in a comfortable silence, just enjoying the peace and quiet of the castle
When we got to the kitchens entrance, I wasn't sure if Sirius knew how to get in
"Watch this" he laughed, reaching out his hand tickling... the pear in the painting, it suddenly opened and reviled the hogwarts kitchens.
"Tada" Sirius did while making jazz hands "ladies first" making me chuckle.
Oh Merlin.
We both got in to be greeted by a little, wide eyed, house elf
"Hey, Trixie" Sirius greeted the elf, now turning to me "what do you want to eat?"
"Umm, i'll just have some toast and some pumpkin juice, please"
"Yes ma'am" Trixie said "and for you sir?" Now talking to Sirius who was heading over to a tale in the corner of the room, or the only place with a seating area.
"I'll have left overs from diner along with some butter beer, thanks Trixie" and then the little elf was off to get the food "are you gonna come sit down?"
I was just standing in the middle of the room, admire the new place of the castle
"Y-yeah" i laughed, walking over to the table Sirius was at
"So how was your day?"he questioned with a little smile on his lips
"Ha ha, if you forgot, we slept for most of it" I laughed
"No, i wouldn't remember, I was sleeping" he chuckled at his poor attempt to make a joke
Just them Trixie came waddling in with out food, handing Sirius some left overs and handed me my toast and pumpkin juice
"Thanks Trixie" we chimed, my face now growing more red, I also think he noticed, but smiled?
"We never worked on the Potions essay" I laughed
"Oh well-"
"Alright, hope you 2 aren't snogging, cause I'm coming in!" i was pretty sure it was James, again
Acting as if kicked open the door, James burst in.
"Hello James" I chimed turning to face the dramatic boy
"Ha! You didn't deny it again!" He yelled. Getting Trixie's attention.
"Should you like anything, sir?" She asked
"I'm good for now, thanks" James answered "sooooo, whatcha doing"
"Your a bitch, you know that right" Sirius sneered
"Yes, Padfoot, I'm aware, just couldn't let you guys do anything" she smirked the big smirk again
I put my head in my hands, James was very annoying sometimes, wait no, most times, i get why lily called him an 'arrogant toe-rag'
"What is that supposed to mean" even though I'm pretty clear of what he was meaning
"Well i didn't want you two shag-"
"Okay! James, I think we are finished here" Sirius interrupted
"But i just got here" James made big puppy dog eyes
"Exactly" said Sirius, sending me a sorrowful look
I took one last sip of my pumpkin juice, and got up to leave, along side Sirius
Causing way to much butterfly's
"Sorry-" Sirius started
"HEY! You forgot something" James shouted catching up to us
"What?" I asked
"ME!" He yelled, making Sirius and I to burst out laughing, still making our way back to the common room
"Do you smell anything sweet" Filches groggy voice came from a near corridor
Causing me to grab Sirius's hand, he didn't let go, but turned away from Filch and Mrs. Norris
James right behind us made a 'aww' noise.
Sirius lead us down the school corridors, once we were far enough from were we heard Filch, we were so close to the corridors.
Then we saw Filch holding up a lantern, from the other end of the corridor
"STUDENTS OUT OF BED! STUDENTS OUT OF BED!!" He shouted
James quickly turned on his heel and lead Sirius and I down the corridors we just ran though and opened a door to a broom closet
Stumbling in, behind Sirius, I tripped over something probably a bucket or broom
Falling to the floor, I accidentally pulled Sirius down with me, landing on top of each other.
"Sorry" i said sheepishly, getting off Sirius
"Hey, come on guys, not while I'm here" James said, after lighting his wand to see what had happened
"James, I just tripped" I tried to come back with but he just brushed it off his shoulder and sent a wink to Sirius which he replayed with a glare
"Now were did those pest go" the groggy voice of Filch said, his foot steps coming closer to the cupboard
I backed up, accidentally brushing my knuckles against Sirius's, he quickly grabbing my hand
That also cause way to much butterflies, after spending a couple hours with Sirius, why were all these feeling coming from?
"Must have gone around here..." Filches foot steps, along with Mrs. Norris's pattering growing quieter
"Guys" James started, taking a quick glance at Sirius's and my hand intertwined, he sent. Yet another wink at Sirius, thinking I dint see "I think we can go" he almost sounded giddy, why?
James neared the door, and slowly opened the door
"Just open the door James" Sirius groaned, I bet he was getting a little annoyed with his friend
"Sorry, just trying not to get caught" James chuckled, now fully opening the door
We all rushed out, Sirius and my hand's still intertwined, the 3 of is ran back through the the corridors, and finally made it back to the Fat Lady portrait.
"You three-"
"Balderdash" I cut her off, not wanting to run away from filch or a professor
The painting flew open reviling the common room
"I'm just going to go to my dorm, by guys" I said, walking up to the stairs that lead to my dorm
"So, how was you date" James said, while i was just up a couple of steps
"It wasn't a date" Sirius mumbled but I sill heard him
"You so wish" James laughed
"True"
I don't know how to feel, did Sirius Black just say he wanted to go on a date with me? Does he like me? I h to push these thoughts out of my head, trying not to rise ay hopes, like I did with Calvin...
Making it up to my dorm, I opened the door, locked it, as I didnt want anyone bursting in, changed into my wolf form (as it was easier to get comfortable like that)
Walked over to my bed, but as the Marauders dormitory was next to mine, but still a good amount of wall between us.
Yet again, I was a dog, so it had its advantages.
I heard their door slam closed and yelling coming from the room it sounded like;
"James! Why did you-" i couldn't her the rest of that sentence
"Sirius i thought-"
"I already told you" there was a couple more words
"Elaborate"
"I don't know-"
There was a long wait until I heard some one say;
"Ohhh! So your like.... whipped" making me chuckle, and wonder who they were talking about
I didn't hear the rest as their conversation, they must have stoped yelling, and I choose to try and stop intruding into their conversation, I figured it was privet
Turning back to a human, I headed out of my dorm and to theirs
Knocking lightly, I hear the boy's voices quiet down
"Yeah?" One of them said
"You do know, i can hear you guys, right?" I said, forgetting that I wouldn't be able to hear them, if I wasn't a wolf
Then i heard a lot of laughter, probably coming from James
"Yeah thanks man" I think Sirius said " Sorry Tatum"
"It's fine, night guys" I said, Basically to a door, as the laughter from James grew louder, I think I heard someone say 'night' back but James was to loud
(Narrator POV)
As tatum headed back to her room, she left without knowing, Sirius's stomach was filled with butterflies and his face was beat red, that is what caused James to burst out laughing so hard, along with the fact that, Sirius thought he had just admitted his feelings to Tatum, through the a wall.
But the boys dint know that she didn't here the whole conversation, just parts
James and Sirius conversation;
"James! why did you have to come! It was just us!" Sirius yelled
"Sirius, I thought that i would help" James said
"I already told you I don't need help" Sirius told James a little quieter 'I just don't know exactly how I feel, you know" he said, more going on a rant, then being mad at James.
"Elaborate" James now being more curious in his best mates feeling towards Tatum.
So Sirius spilled it all, how he loved her laugh, he delicate features, her amazing personality, fair skin, the way her nose scrunches up when she laughed, the way she tilts her head when she doesn't get something, they way she bits the end of her quill while think of what to write next, the way she swings her hips a little when she walks, the amount of hope she has for the world, when I say 'he said it all', he did.
"Ohhh! So your like.... whipped" James said after Sirius's description of his feelings
"I know she just came here, but i-i"
"You're in loooooove" cooed James
"I don't know"
"Dude, you just spent 10 minutes describing your feelings and the things you love about her, trust me, that's how I feel about lils, exactly like that"
Then tatum knocked on the door, told them she cold hear the talk the boy's just had, basically giving Sirius a heart attack.
