Jay knows when he is in love when all he can think about is you very second. Invading his thoughts. His heart rate speeding up whenever he is near you. Breath quickening.
Hanging onto your every word. His eyes only on you. Lighting up his world when you enter the room.
G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)
His trusts you, encourages you, his honest with you, respects you, always aware of the tone of his voice, says sorry, forgives you, listens to you, offering you a hug when you mess up, addressing difficult issues during the day instead of at night, uses light humour to diffuse tense moments.
H = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)
Fingers intertwined.
A loose grip.
On top and bottom; Jay is holding your hand with both of theirs—one of his hands is on top of yours and the other is on the bottom.

Jay knew the first time he met you; you would be hard to forget. You had him hooked.

The green-eyed monster does like to rear its ugly head. Mostly when an ex of yours shows up or Jay and you bump into your ex. Jay will glare at them. Mouth set in a thin line.
He also gets jealous when guys flirt with you at Molly's. Jay will watch for a while. Hand clenching the beer bottle tighter. knuckles turning white. Clenching his jaw.
He will quickly swoop in and make it known you are taken.

Depends on his moods. If he isn't jealous then it's passionate and soft.
Sometimes it turns feverish.
However, if he is jealous then it is rough kisses.
Jay initiated the first kiss on the first date he had with you.
L = Love (Who says 'I love you' first?)
You were the first one to say, "I love you," after Jay and you were going for a drive at night.
The way the moonlight and the traffic lights and streetlights lit up Jay's face you were in a trance. The red light immolating his face, as Jay and you waited for it to turn green.
"I love you," You confessed, smiling fondly at him. Making Jay crane his head to look at you. Smiling softly at you.
Jay leaned closer to you. making your breath hitch. His lips hovering over your lips. Eyes fluttering closed. His lips pressing against yours passionately...

Your first date with Jay.
It didn't go to plan, and Jay was overwhelmed.
The restaurant was overbooked, making Jay get annoyed.
The two of you settled for takeout at the beach. Sitting in the trailer of his truck. Your head resting on his shoulder. Both of you eating take out food. While looking at the water.
"I'm sorry this date didn't go according to plan," Jay sighed.
"It's perfect, you are perfect," You reassured him. Craning your head to look at him. Jay smiled at you, his eyes glancing at your lips, then glancing back to your eyes.
Your breath hitched, as he lowered his head down to yours. Eyes fluttering closed. Jay's eyes fluttered closed, as his lips pressed against your softly. His hand resting on your neck, as he deepened the kiss. Your hands grabbing his shirt...

He does love to spoil you.
Like flowers, chocolates, gifts, jewellery, etc, love letter/notes/texts.
O = Orange (What colour reminds them of their other half?)
Blue, because of his eyes, also, because it symbolizes serenity, stability, inspiration, or wisdom. And he calms you.
Yellow is the colour that reminds him of you. Yellow symbolises happiness, and optimism, of enlightenment and creativity, sunshine and spring.
As well, as orange, It symbolises; joy, warmth, heat, sunshine, enthusiasm, creativity, success, encouragement, change, determination, health, stimulation, happiness, fun, enjoyment, balance, sexuality, freedom, expression, and fascination.
P = Pet names (What pet names do they use?)
Babe, sweetheart, baby, lover, love, cutie, gorgeous, sexy, sunshine, angel, baby girl, buttercup.

Disposable camera & love letters.

Jay decided to have a picnic at the beach.
His nerves skyrocketing. You had a feeling Jay was worried about something, by the way, he was behaving.
Jay decided to propose while he and you were taking a stroll down the beach.
He suddenly stopped in his tracks. Making you arch your eyebrow.
"Are you okay?" You asked. As he clutched the ring box in his pocket tighter.
Jay quickly stood in front of you. Slightly getting nervous.
"I need to ask you something," Jay gulped out.
"Okay," You spoke. Slightly feeling nervous. Not sure where this was going.
Jay gulped. Taking the ring box out of his pocket, he dropped onto one knee. Making your mouth open in an O shape.
Jay opened the ring box, revealing an engagement ring. Tears pricked your eyes.
"I promise you; no one will work harder to make you happy or cherish you more than me. Will you marry me?" Jay proposed to you. making you nod your head.
"Yes," You cried. Holding out your left hand in front of you. Jay slipped the ring onto your ring finger.
He stood up. Making you wrap your arms around his neck. Peppering his face in kisses. His hands resting on your back.
"I love you, Jay, I can't wait to marry you," You beamed.
"I love you more, I cant wait for you to be Mrs Halstead," He beamed. Making you smile. As you stared into Jay's eyes. Smiling brightly at him.
Both of you closing the distance. Lips pressing against each others softly. eyes fluttering closed.

Jay doesn't have a song.
Y = Yes (Do they ever think of getting married/proposing?)
Jay often thinks about proposing to you. Being married to you. When he does, he is always beaming.
"What are you smiling about?" Will asked as he sat in the barstool next to Jay, handing him his beer.
"Nothing," Jay responded. Slightly blushing.
"It's not nothing, when your smiling like you just won the lottery," Will teased Jay. Making Jay take a sip of his beer. While Will looked at Jay intently, waiting for his brother to crack.
"I'm thinking about proposing to y/n," Jay finally cracked. Making Will smile.
"Finally," Will spoke, patting Jay's shoulder...

Jay would definitely get a pet. Especially if you wanted one.
