4:01 p.m.
"So your theme for the song is about love?" Jungkook asked Lucas who nodded his head. "And so is yours", Jungkook spoke again to Taehyung, "Mhm" he hummed.
"Yugyeom, please tell me you're making a song about something else", Jungkook whined. "I'm going to sing about being young, something nostalgic is what I'm trying to go for", Yugyeom said while looking at his notebook.
"The idea sounds nice, I got nothing right now", Jungkook pouted. "You'll think of something", Rose said while erasing something he wrote.
"Taehyung Kim", A staff called, "It's your turn in the studio", Taehyung got up.
He felt nervous.
Not only for the challenge since he realized thanks to Jungkook, a love song is typical but he'd be with Yoongi, with cameras, and some staff there, making things more awkward.
"Hey", Yoongi said forcing a smile. "Hi", Taehyung entered the room. "You can sit down", Yoongi pointed and Taehyung forced a laugh while saying sorry.
"So what ideas do you have so far?" Yoongi asked.
"Well, I want to do a ballad, I want something that'll make the person listening feel pain", Taehyung said while Yoongi laughed. "Good pain or bad pain?"
"I suppose it all depends on the listener", Taehyung said. "Any lyrics you have down yet?" Yoongi asked.
"Uh, yeah", Taehyung showed Yoongi his notebook. While being next to Yoongi, Taehyung was overwhelmed by his scent. He smelled like home.
"My heart is pounding", Yoongi read a line out loud. "I'm wondering...I wonder?" Yoongi shook his head. "So you're doing a love ballad song".
"Yes", Taehyung said. "Well theres' millions of songs that exist like that, what makes yours different?" Yoongi asked and Taehyung felt like his idea was silly.
"Well?" Yoongi asked. Taehyung shrugged, "I feel sad, so I'm sure that will help". Yoongi looked visibly uncomfortable.
"Well people who write sad songs tend to be sad sometimes, that's not different-"
"My aura, my voice, is what will make my song", Taehyung now lifted his head up. "Hm?", the older hummed. "My voice, it will make the song special".
"Okay", Yoongi said.
"So ballads, they tend to have more piano or guitar, I suggest if you want be different, try using a guitar more", Yoongi began to play an acoustic guitar. "So take my song for example So Far Away, on a guitar, it sounds more raw", he began to play the chords. Taehyung nodded his head, "Sounds...nice"
Yoongi nodded his head.
The room was filled with this awkward mood that anyone could tell.
"Time", a staff said revealing they only had 10 minutes left. "So, I think a ballad is a good choice for you-"
Some of the staff glanced at each other because their footage was...boring. With the previous contestants, Yoongi was making them feel more comfortable because they were clearly intimidated, he would try and crack jokes but this was just...awful.
"However, a love song is typical and I would have hoped you would have pushed the bar and come up with something more new", Yoongi said and the camera people froze because Taehyung looked like he wanted to cry.
Granted, whenever people got eliminated there would be tears, but never has anyone cried during a one on one with a mentor.
"Why do you want to cry?" Yoongi asked and the camera people held their breathes because wow what Yoongi said did not help.
"I just- I'm...I have this idea and knowing you don't like, it is...wow", Taehyung felt a tear escape. Yoongi shook his head, "No crying in a studio I'm in".
"Fine", Taehyung was walking out, cameras still rolling, "You still have five minutes", a staff came up to Taehyung before he could walk out. "I know, I don't care", Taehyung was wiping his tears. "This time is precious-"
"It's only 'precious' because it's him, he's just a regular person", Taehyung walked out and the a cameraman went to go follow him because now this wasn't awkward, this was juicy.
Taehyung was walking to the furthest bathroom and there he found Jaebeom with a contestant and Lucas.
"You can go", Jaebeom told the contestant as Lucas stood beside him. "You too", Jaebeom said to Taehyung.
Taehyung was about to continue walking when he saw this look Lucas had.
It was heartbreaking.
"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked completely ignoring Jaebeom. "Mhm", Lucas said.
"No you're not, what's wrong?" Taehyung hugged Lucas.
"He's getting suspended from the show", Jaebeom said as Lucas began crying to Taehyung.
And then Taehyung knew what it was about.
The camera man had talked into his walkie talkie and another cameraman came as well as the rest of the mentors.
"Why is Lucas leaving?" Hwasa asked as Lucas pulled away from Taehyung. "Well?" Momo was wondering.
"Ask him", Jaebeom was stern.
"What did you do Lucas?" Yoongi asked and Taehyung put his hands in his pockets.
Lucas, clearly shaken up, "I- I was"

Taehyung felt himself get goosebumps.
"I smoke weed and I have some on me", Lucas said with his head down.
Hwasa and Momo both looked at each other as Jaebeom sighed.
"What?" Yoongi's eyes began piercing through him. "I smoke and-"
"He's lying", Taehyung said.
"What did you just say?" Yoongi then had a look Taehyung did not recognize.
"He's taking the fall for me, I smoke", Taehyung took out the bag he had taken from Lucas out of his pocket.
Momo and Hwasa gasped and Jaebeom then looked at Lucas who was looking at Taehyung.
"Lucas, I'm sorry for getting in you in this mixup", Taehyung saw how Lucas cried and it wasn't out of he had gotten caught, but that he was now safe and Taehyung would leave.
"Come on then, you have nothing to see, don't say anything yet", Jaebeom pulled Lucas away and Lucas cried while Taehyung smiled at him.
Hoseok came out the dressing room as he was hearing the whole thing.
"You?" Yoongi was hurt. "Yes", Taehyung said. "Why?" Yoongi could not believe his reality.
"The competition was getting too much", Taehyung answered quickly.
Momo and Hwasa left without saying anything, they knew Yoongi would do enough.
Hoseok stood watching from afar.
"You know what this means?" Yoongi looked at Taehyung now as a kid.
Just a kid who didn't know better. "I'll get going", Taehyung said quietly.
Yoongi shook his head, he was torn as a mentor and as a fiance.
As a mentor he was so devastated but as a finace to Taehyung, he felt like he didn't even know him anymore.
"Hyung, I'm sorry-"
"Get out already", Yoongi said.
"Okay", Taehyung bowed then left.
Taehyung had his head down and quickly got his things, some contestants did wonder what was going on but some were too focused on their song writing.
Taehyung would leave through the back, the cameras no longer on him at all.
"Attention", Momo said.
"Taehyung Kim has been suspended from this competition", Jaebeom said.
"WHAT?" Jungkook felt his heart shatter. "WHY!", He yelled as Yugyeom tried to calm him down.
"We cannot say why", Yoongi said.
"NO! I WANT TO KNOW", Jungkook stood up and both Rose and Yugyeom stood up with him to hold him back.
Everyone knew Jungkook and Taehyung were best friends.
"Please Jungkook'", Hwasa said.
"THAT'S NOT FAIR! WHY!", Jungkook felt his stomach turn. "Calm down", Yugyeom held Jungkook. "WHY!"
Lucas sighed, he felt like throwing up. He ran to the back to use the bathroom but there he had caught up with Taehyung who was putting on his coat and was folding the shirt they make all the contestant wear.
"Hey!" Lucas said. "Why did you do that!" he pushed Taehyung to a wall. "Are you crazy?" Lucas was crying. "You're leaving"
"That's okay", Taehyung smiled but he too was crying.
"Why did you do it?" Lucas asked.
Taehyung hugged Lucas, "Make me proud, and here", Taehyung handed Lucas his bag back.
"I told you I didn't want to see you get kicked off for something stupid-"
"SO YOU TOOK THE BLAME YOU FUCKING IDIOT-" Taehyung covered Lucas' mouth, "Yah", Taehyung whispered.
"You've got this", Taehyung said as he walked out the back door.
"T-Taehyung", Lucas whined as his heart hurt.
Taehyung was the best friend he should've realized sooner about.
Lucas went into the bathroom, he cried and threw the weed he had in the toilet and flushed it.
Hoseok sighed, he ran out the back.
"KID!", he yelled.
Taehyung froze.
"Kid!", Hoseok ran and caught up with Taehyung. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Oh, you saw the...truth?" Taehyung asked. "Why would you-"
"Don't tell Yoongi please".
"What-"
"Don't", the younger looked so broken and Hoseok, he pulled him into a hug, "If you want, later you can come to my house okay?"
"I will", the younger said. "See you later", Taehyung walked away.

10:00 p.m.
Filming had finished and Yoongi was a mess. He seriously did not know what happened.
All he wanted to do was go home and forget.
But he knew that probably wouldn't happen.
"So, I'm seeing we're trending as usual", Jimin said with his glasses on looking at his ipad.
"Taehyung is out of the competition", Yoongi said and Jimin sighed while turning off his tablet. "I wasn't going to bring it up, how do you feel?"
"Like, I got played", Yoongi said. "How so?", Jimin wondered.
Yoongi looked out the window, they were going home. "I feel like didn't even know him".
Jimin shrugged, "That's why you shouldn't get a boyfriend when you're married".
Yoongi looked over at Jimin.
"Well?" Jimin said, "I'm not wrong".
Yoongi looked down, "No, you're not".

11:24 p.m.
Yoongi looked at Jimin who was already knocked out beside him.
Yet he knew what he had todo.
"I'll be stepping out for a bit...sorry", he whispered to Jimin and he hummed. "Mhmm".
Yoongi then knew, it was time.

11:57 p.m
Taehyung sat down on a bench waiting for Yoongi. He realized just over the hill they had a picnic once there before.
He wish he cherished that moment more.
"Hey", Yoongi said and Taehyung stood up. "Hi", he said.
Yoongi sighed, "Is this all in my head?"
"What is?" Taehyung wondered.
"I feel like...after today I don't know you", Yoongi said honestly. Taehyung felt his heart begin to rip but he would still be tough.
"Do you still want me now?", Taehyung asked.
"I-" Yoongi stood looking at him.
"You called me late at night like how you did before when we started dating because you know we could only meet when the sun is away", the younger looked at the moon.
Then at Yoongi.
He took off his engagement ring, "You want to break up with me, right?"
The older nodded his head.
"O-okay", Taehyung handed over the ring.
"Okay? That's it?" Yoongi hoped Taehyung, the one he fell in love with would comeback, and ask him to rethink.
"Yeah, I don't care really", Taehyung said.
"Wow", Yoongi held the ring in his hand. "We're done", Yoongi said.
Taehyung nodded his head.
Yet as Yoongi was about to walk away Taehyung said:
"I hope you know, I love you but I'm letting go".
Then he walked away and let his tears flow.
Yoongi stood confused but none the less, he left and walked in the other direction.
Taehyung, shaking called Hoseok.
"I c-can't do this", Taehyung cried over the phone and Hoseok picked him up quickly.
Taehyung sat on the side walk cold and heart broken.
His heart pounding.
