Lazy day, spent reclined in woods,
In shadows green and with colored moods,
Back and forth, walking in times,
With pleasant, sad, and lonely rhymes.
I walked back to my school day love,
Embarrassed, smiled, and happily returned,
Then it was the doors of high school,
Loud rocks, buddies, and beers cool,
The daily love and broken hearts,
Short love stories that always hurt.
Then I traverse the real world today,
Where I wander with somber gaze,
Oh, what could be but never did,
The choices I made, all magic undid,
If only, I could lay back reclined,
To never grow beyond my childhood dreams.
