AROUND MAY, EMMETT AND GEMMA RETURN TO FORKS. Carlisle was pleasantly pleased by Gemma's ability, not not as nearly as intrigued as Eleazar was.
Gemma is in some comfortable shorts, a tank, and fuzzy socks and snuggling with Rosalie on the loveseat in the first floor den at night time. Chamberlin and Emmett enter the room and they glance at each other, raising their eyebrows, before they join Jasper on the couch while Carlisle sits in an arm
Gemma whines when Rosalie moves to get up. Rosalie laughs a little but Gemma calms down once Emmett takes her place. Rosalie smiles lovingly at the two that she sees as a brother and a sister before she brings Chamberlin upstairs.
Alice comes skipping downstairs. "Gem, you're not dressed? I told you I had a vision about... wait, no I didn't."
"You had a vision about who, Alice?" Carlisle asks.
"Victoria," Alice replies. "We're chasing her. She's in town."
Gemma suddenly is up and she rushes to her and Emmett's room.
"And that's all the motivation we needed," Emmett muses.

Alice's eyes are glazed over in the woods. She is looking for the spot where she saw Victoria. Gemma is standing in between Chamberlin and Jasper. Emmett is near Carlisle and Rosalie.
"Are you sure this is where you saw her?" Gemma inquires.
"She's almost here," Alice replies. "On your left!"
Beating her mate to it, Gemma explodes to her left and Emmett is right behind her. Jasper and Carlisle go wide to find a way to cut the redhead off. Alice, Rosalie, Esme, and Chamberlin follow up on ehe rear.
Victoria is slightly, but not much, nervous because she knows the kind of fury Gemma holds for her, the kind of torch. But getting away is what she's good at, so Victoria is confident she'll get away from the vampires. Victoria runs until she jumps over the ravine.
"Wait!" Carlisle calls. "She's in their territory!"
"She'll get away!"
Gemma smirks when she hears a familiar growl. "No, she won't!"
Three wolves on the other side, on the La Push side, are chasing Victoria on the the other side. Victoria junos right back.
"All ours now," Emmett claims as he bolts forward, in front of Gemma, the Cullens begin closing in on Victoria.
Emmett grabs ahold of Victoria's hair and they roll over a fallen tree. Victoria uses the momentum to her own advantage. She finds Emmett over her head and into a tree and within a split second, she jumps back over the ravine and Emmett, seeing red, goes after her.
"Emmett, don't!" Gemma exclaims.
Emmett doesn't listen as he jumps over. Paul turns quickly and he growls at Emmett. Emmett looks up slowly and he meets eyes with the omega wolf. Paul growls once more with bravado, making Emmett smile. Gemma covers her face in annoyance.
Victoria turns and she watches as Paul and Emmett tackle each other. She is surprised to see what's happening just beyond her. She studies the vampire and wolf curiously. Rosalie grabs Gemma's hand, knowing she's annoyed with Emmett and now Paul.
Gemma and Sam look at each other. She sees the flicker of both annoyance and amusement in his large, brown eyes. Sam huffs when he sees the annoyance in her dark eyes. They're almost a mixture of golden and red now, they look brown.
"I'm sorry about my mate," Gemma says to Sam and he listens. "He's an idiot."
"That he is," Chamberlin agrees. "Send Emmett home when he and Paul are done messing around?"
Sam nods his large, wolf head. Gemma smiles at him before she is suddenly gone. Rosalie and the others soon follow her when the realize Victoria got away.
