Narrator's P.O.V
With Valarie's students already getting their Fairy Type Badges, Bella is the last person to battle against Opal. Will Bella be able to take down Opal and win the badge? Only one way to find out.
Bella's P.O.V
I fixed my hair and my clothes as I waited for my time to battle Opal, then when Hop competed his battle and won, it was my turn. I walked up to the field and saw Opal waiting for me, I stood right in front of her as she opened her eyes and smiled.
Opal: I suppose it's a bit late to introduce myself, but... I'm Opal, the Gym Leader. I've gotten a good look at how you handled those quizzes. The last part of the mission is me... Let me have a look at how you and your partner Pokémon behave!
Bella: [smile] As you say in the theater, break a leg
Opal: [chuckle] You too, dear
We both got into position and I got my Pokémon of choice to begin ready, along with Ms. Opal.
Referee: The battle between Gym Leader Opal vs Gym Challenger Bella will now begin!!
Opal: Go, Weezing!
[Weezing appears]
Bella: Whoa, what kind of Weezing is that?
Rotom: Allow me Bella! Weezing, Poison Gas Pokémon, a Poison and Fairy type. This Pokémon consumes particles that contaminate the air. Instead of leaving droppings, it expels clean air.
Bella: Wow, another way to avoid polluting the air. Alright then, Go on, Scorch! I know you can do it!!
Scorch [Cinderace]: Raaaaa!!
Bella: Now!! Use Pyro Ball!!!
Scorch used Pyro Ball which sent a critical hit and caused Weezing to get burnt, perfect. But when Opal command Weezing to use Sludge, Scorch didn't had time to dodge it and was covered in purple ooze, at first I thought the poison got him but he brushed it off. I sigh in relief and noticed that Weezing was hurt by the burn and fainted so quick.
Bella: Alright!!
Scorch [Cinderace]: Cinde!!!!
Referee: Weezing is unable to battle!! Cinderace wins!!
Opal: Bravo, but the battle isn't over yet. Come! Togekiss!
Bella: Alright Scorch, time to-
Opal: Question!
[Bella anime falls]
Opal: You... Do you know my nickname?
Bella: Huh? Ummm... The Wizard?
Opal: Ding ding ding! Congratulations, you're correct
Bella: 'Wow, I got that right?' Hey, Scorch's speed rose sharply! Maybe if I get the answers right just like before my Pokémon get's stronger. Alright! Scorch, use Pyro Ball!!
The battle went on back and forth and Scorch's speed was improving very fast, soon Scorch was able to knock out Togekiss. So I decided to switch it up and use Silvally, I got my Steel memory disk and gave it to Silvally.
Bella: Perfect!
Opal: Now then, Mawile, it's your time to shine
[Mawile appears]
Bella: Now Silvally! Use Tri-Attack!!!
Silvally used Tri-Attack while Mawile used Play Rough, but it didn't damage Silvally a lot, Silvally used Iron Head and it did a huge damage, knocking Mawile out. I'm this close to winning and I hope to beat Opal. But when Opal brought Alcremie, I realized that was her last Pokémon.
Opal: My morning tea is finally kicking in, and not a moment too soon!
Bella: get ready Silvally it's time for you to Gigantamax!!! Ready!!
Silvally: [growl] raaaawwwwrrr!!!!
Bella: Let's do it!!!!
I got my poke ball ready and brought Sivally back, then my dynamax band activated and my poke ball grew bigger and I tossed it up in the air, soon Silvally grew bigger and roared very loudly and glared at Alcremie.
Opal: Are you prepared? I'm going to have some fun with this
As soon after Opal's Alcremie gigantamax, it turned into a 5 tiers stack of cake with Alcremie on top as the centerpiece. I was amazed and I never thought Alcremie gigantamax form would turn into that, but I later snapped out of it and got back to being focused.
Bella: Alright Silvally!! Use Max Steelspike!!
Silvally used that move that caused Steelspikes to go forward and towards Alcremie which caused a critical hit but not enough to knock Alcremie out.
Opal: You lack pink! Here, let us give you some. Alcremie! Use G-Max Finale!!
Bella: Huh?
I saw stars falling down towards my Pokémon as Silvally gets consumed by a bright light and received a bit of damage, I sigh in relief but stopped when I noticed Alcremie got healed.
Bella: Oh no
Opal: Question! What is my favorite color?
Bella: Ummm... Purple
Opal: Yes, a nice, deep purple... Truly grand, don't you think?
I looked back and saw Silvally's Defense and Special Defense rose sharply, so I got my focus back on and command Silvally to use Max Steelspike again and it was enough to finally knock Alcremie out.
Referee: Alcremie is unable to battle!!! The winner of this battle is... Gym Challenger Bella!!! And Silvally!!!!
Bella: Yes!!! We did it!!!
Opal: [chuckle] Your pink is still lacking, but you're an excellent Trainer with some excellent Pokémon
Bella: [walks up to Opal] Thank you for a wonderful battle, Opal, I had such a blast
Opal: Well, good try. Not bad, not bad at all. Still, not what I'm looking for...
Bella: I'm sorry if I'm not the perfect candidate Opal, but I'm sure you'll find your perfect candidate soon
Opal: Oh, don't worry yourself about it, child. It's just a matter of my preference. I'll find the next Gym Leader elsewhere. In fact, I've already got an idea about where to look. Too bad about the audition, but here's a Fairy Badge for your efforts
I shook Opal's hand and she handed me the Fairy Badge, now all I need is the Ice or Rock badge, Dark Badge, and Dragon Badge to make it to the Semifinal.
Opal: Oh, here's a little something for humoring me. This might help add a little more pink to you!
Opal handed me the Fairy Uniform and it was absolutely beautiful, I held it close and Silvally stood by my side.
Opal: [walks away] Of course it's not good to neglect your elders, but old folk like me should also know when it's time to step out of the spotlight
I left the battlefield and walked into the locker room where Hop, Victor, and Gloria congratulate me and Silvally.
Hop: Congrats Bella!
Victor: You did it!!!
Gloria: You were awesome!!
Bella: Thank guys
Valarie: Well done all of you
Gladion: You were all spectacular, especially you Bella, you knew what to use and you learned from the very best
Bella: Thanks Gladion, I'm so excited!! Where to next?
Valarie: Next off, we're heading to Circhester, but before we go we need to be prepared and dress appropriately when we get there
Hop: Why?
Valarie: It's cold out there so we need to dress in warm clothes in order to stay warm, got it?
Hop: Alright
Victor: Sure
Gloria: Yay! More cloths shopping
Bella: I'm so excited
Valarie: Well then, let's go Onwards to Circhester!!
Valarie's Students: YEEEAAAHHH!!!
We left the Gym Stadium and stood outside for a bit when someone caught our attention, we looked back and saw Opal standing there.
Opal: Now hold on, I've got a few errands to run in Hammerlocke. Care to join me for the journey? If you're headed for the next Gym Stadium, you'll need to get to Hammerlocke, too, after all
Hop: Well [scratch the back of his head]
Victor: We were hoping to-
[VALARIE CHOP 2X]
Valarie: [anime vein] Remember to respect your elders... [smile at Opal] With pleasure! Opal. Right boys~ [glares at Victor, Hop, and Gladion]
Victor: [sweat] Y-Y-Yeah... Sure!
Hop: [sweat] It would be our pleasure!!
Opal: [chuckle] They say many company's, after all
We walked with Opal back to Hammerlocke and the boys were getting frustrated but see Valarie's boomerang and stopped complaining and just go with it, we soon reached to Hammerlocke so Victor and Hop decided to go ahead and search for some warm clothes to buy at the shops.
Valarie: Ugh! Boys will be boys~
Gladion: And what am I? Chopped liver?
Valarie: I know you wouldn't do anything like that Gladion
Opal: Hammerlocke— always such a dusty town. Though I suppose some Pokémon prefer it that way
Valarie: Opal, why don't I join you in those errands while the girls shop with Gladion?
Opal: Why thank you dear, it's always nice to spend some time with your elders and away from your husband
Valarie: [blush] I-I-I-I... Well I-
Gladion: You might wanna get going, I'll keep an eye on the kids, who knows it's good practice when we want to be parents
Valarie: [blush] [whispers] Y-Y-Y-You not helping
Valarie went off to help Opal with her errands while Gladion went with Gloria and I to go shop for warmer clothes, Gloria and I had a blast and found some perfect clothes for Circhester, after that we made our purchases and went on to look for the boys when we both spotted Bede looking up at Hammerlocke Castle, we walked up to Bede and caught his attention. He was at first surprise to see me but at the same time glaring at Gloria.
Bede: Come to gawk at me now that I've had my Challenge Band taken away and my Gym Challenger status revoked? Can you really afford to waste time like this?
Bella: Bede... I...
Gloria: [glares & pout] Of course! You deserve it for hurting Bella and not showing the pride in the Galar region
Bella: Gloria!
Bede: Well, I suppose so. You no longer have to worry about catching up with me, after all
Gloria: Heh, you bet we don't, and Hop is back on his feet thanks to Valarie's motivation, now he's pumped and ready to win!
Bede: Tch. I'll have you know, though, that I haven't given up! I must become the Champion in order to help out the Chairman! I will go and ask him to let me rejoin the Gym Challenge!
Gloria: Like as if that will ever happen! I'll believe it when I see it! Which is never!!
Before any of us could say anything we were interrupting when Opal did her Gym mission, and examined Bede from head to toe. Which made us feel dumbfounded as she kept saying "Pink" over and over, until Opel stopped evaluating Bede and stood behind him with one hand on his shoulder.
Opal: Congratulations, child!
Bede: M-Ms. Opal? What in the world has gotten into you?!
Opal: You were used by Oleana- an I right? You worked hard to gather Wishing Stars for her, only to have her throw you away like rubbish once she was done with you... Come with me, child. I might be able to help you out
Valarie: You might wanna listen to her Bede, she can actually help you... Just trust me [wink at Bede]
Bede: [gasp]
Opal: Of course, it all depends on how much hard work you're willing to put in, too
Bede: Are you... Are you testing me? Very well, I accept! In fact, I plan on making sure you see my full talents and tell me everything you know about the Wishing Stars!
Opal: Farewell for now, child. You should head to Circhester. I take it you know how to get to Route 7
Bede: I'll see you around, and Bella, I plan to give you my fullest apology... I'll show you, the true me... Be sure to wait for me soon
Bella: [smile] I will
I did the most unthinkable and walked up to Bede and kissed his cheek, he was blushing and I blushed and looked away.
Bella: Good luck Bede, make me proud
Bede: [smirk] I will
Bede brushed my bangs and kissed my forehead, I blushed even more as he walked away with Opal, I didn't realized that Bede handed me something in my hand and I looked down to see a beautiful bracelet with a heart shape charms around it.
Bella: Wow~
Valarie: Seems to be that Bede has a humongous crush on you~
Bella: W-W-W-What?! N-N-No he doesn't!!
Valarie: Sure~ he does~ anyways, let's look for those boys and get to Circhester, the faster we go on our journey, the faster I get away from-
Raihan: Vaaaaaalllaaaaarrrrrriiiiiiieeeeeeee~!!!
Valarie: [whispers] Shit... Ughhh... Hi Raihan, what brings you here?
Raihan: Well I was in the neighborhood and I heard your students beat Opal, congratulations
Valarie: Thanks, now if you'll excuse us we have to go to Circhester right now and-
Raihan: Hold on, I wanted to see if you wanna wager a bet
Valarie: What kind of bet?
Raihan: The kind that involves your students... If they reach to my Gym, and beat me on a Gym Battle, then they win the badges and go to the Semifinals... However, if I win and beat your students, then you owe me a date~ just you and me
Gladion: [glares] You wish, there's no way that's fair
Valarie: Hold on Gladion, What makes you think my students don't have a change against the Ice, Rock, Dark, and Dragon Type Gym Leader? Do you think they'll give up? Heh, fat chances... My students train and get stronger no matter what kind of obstacles they face, I'm sure my students can take down those Gym Leaders in a blink of an eye
Raihan: [smirk] So you're taking up on that bet?
Valarie: I'm not saying I'm agreeing with it, but~ if my students do win, not only they get to go to the Semifinals, you have to stop flirting with me. Deal?
Raihan: Heh, you got yourself a deal
Gladion: I hope you have your A-game ready, because these students won't hold back against the next gym leaders
Raihan: Bring it on Gladion, but I won't hold back either
Gladion and Raihan glare at each other while their Pokémon glared at each other as well, it was a tense battle but I know for one thing we won't hold back and lose. Raihan left but blew a kiss for Valarie but she just ignored it and walked away while we followed her, before long we were walking near the station and spotted Sonia.
Sonia: Heya! The Badge collecting going well?
Gloria: You bet!
Bella: We sure are
Sonia: Well Valarie, who's this handsome fella?
Valarie: This is Gladion, my boyfriend
Sonia: You're so lucky to have him, I wish I had a boyfriend too. But besides that, I've been doing some research on the ruins in Stow-On-Side... The sword and shield... What kind of Pokémon were they? And where are they now? I still have so many questions, I was thinking about taking another look at the tapestries in-
[Ka-BOOM!!!]
Bella: GAAAHHHHH!!!! [hugs Silvally]
Gloria: WHOOOAAAAAA!!!! [hugs Silvally too]
Valarie/Gladion: WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!?!
Sonia: Are you kidding me?! What was that?! Hammerlocke Stadium shook... That's where Chairman Rose's power plant is, isn't it? [check her phone] Huh? A Power Spot?!
Bella: What's wrong?
Valarie: Hold on, you mean... Like where you can Dynamax?
Sonia: I'm getting readings from the Power Spot Detector... Does that mean Dynamaxing is possible here?
Leon: Hey, Sonia! Bella! Gloria! Valarie! And Gladion, too! You felt the shaking, right? Seems Chairman Rose is testing something again
Valarie: Again?
Sonia: This is bad! Pokémon might start Dynamaxing right in the middle of Hammerlocke!
Leon: Is that so? I can make sure the Chairman knows
Sonia: You'll just get lost, Leon. I'm going, too!
Valarie: Count me in, I need to investigate this
Leon: I'm sorry Val, we'll give you the details when we get there. You just keep an eye on the kids and investigate Bella's case
Valarie: I'm afraid that won't be necessary, Bella has been able to recollect her identity
Leon: Seriously?!
Bella: Yeah! My name is Bella Lodge, I have a mom and dad that disguised themselves as Team Rocket to save Cosmo, but... I don't know where they are right now or if they survived, especially Eevee
Valarie: I'm sure they're alright...
Sonia: I'm really looking forward to seeing you compete in the Finals. So you should leave the investigation on the quaking to the adults. We'll inform you with everything we find out Val, then you can start your investigation at Circhester
Valarie: Well... Okay, I trust you won't leave any details behind
Leon: Don't worry, we won't
Sonia: Head to Circhester and get that Gym Badge!
Both Leon and Sonia left in a rush while we spotted Hop and Victor at the station, we walked up to them and started our journey to Circhester, hopefully we can finish this challenge soon and reach to the Semifinals.
Narrator's P.O.V
Valarie's students now have the Fairy Gym Badge and the bet has been made, our heroes now will travel to Circhester to get their Rock or ice badge, but who knows what kind of surprises they'll be expecting. Will Valarie win the bet and beat Raihan? Or will Raihan have a few tricks up his sleeve and surprise Valarie? Only one way to find out, as the journey continues.

Team Yell Grunt Male: Well, they managed to take down the old hag and now they're heading to Circhester
