Third Person's POV
"Bua..." The voice came making Swati stop in her tracks.
She turned to the source of the voice and saw both kids standing holding each other hands.
"Bua.. Papa said that he has made a huge mistake that is why you are not talking to us... Papa is sorry...
I promise he will not repeat it..
Please forgive him.."
Rakshit's 5 year old son Rishav said innocently.
"Sor..ry Bua.... pwomish (promise )...." Shivam's son Sarthak also said in baby tone.
Swati got tears in her eyes after hearing them. Atharva smiled at them and went to take plates from her.
She looked at Atharva and he blinked his eyes in assurance.
She bent to kids' level and took them in her arms. Tears were rolling down her eyes.
Rakshit looked at her sister with teary smile. He looked at his brothers.
Their kids managed to break the ice which they failed to do.
"Bua.. now you will come to our home and play with us right??" Rishav asked excitedly.
Swati's face lost her smile. She held the kids hands and took them to Dhriti's room.

"Dhriti bua (aunt).." The kids said as soon as they enter the room
Dhriti looked at the kids and Swati in confusion.
"Shavya.. These are your new friends.. Go and play with them and three of you will not come out of room till i say... Okay??"
The kids nodded at her.
"Rishav.. You are elder.. Take care of both of them.. Okay??
And Dhriti come with me..."
She said and took Dhriti out of the room.
"Dii.. What is happening?? Who are those kids?? And where are you taking me??" Dhriti asked but Swati didn't reply anything..
"Dii..." She was going to ask again when her eyes went to the people sitting on dining table.
She became numb....

Dhriti's POV
My body became numb when i saw persons sitting on the dining table..
The persons whom i didn't want to meet or see.. Not at least now.
"Bhaiya... " The words automatically came out from my mouth but it was merely audible.
What are they doing there??
"Dhritii..." I heard Rakshit bhaiya's voice.
"Dhriti dii.." Shivam and Sachin approached me with tears in their eyes.
"We missed you dii.." Sachin took me in his embrace.
I didn't react for a minute then after realising what was happening i pushed him away.
"Dii..." He looked clearly hurt.
"Dhriti.. listen" Rakshit bhaiya spoke.
"What are they doing here?" I asked dii. She was as clueless as me.
"My dear sisters.. I am really really sorry..
I was not there to protect you.
I was not there to take care of you.. I was not there to stand by you.
Despite knowing that what was happening with you is wrong, still i turned my back towards you.
Had i been little more courageous and supported you i could have saved you...
Sorry... Please forgive this idiot brother of yours.."
Rakshit bhaiya cried.
He fell on his knees while speaking last line.
I an clearly see tears in Swati dii's eyes too.
Shivam and Sachin also came in front of us and joined their hands,
"We are really sorry.. Dhriti dii.. Swati dii please forgive us.."
Tears were rolling down from their eyes.
"Please.. get up" i said firmly.
Rakshit bhaiya looked at me for a while. He was bit shocked but still stood up.
"We have already forgiven you all.." I said without any emotion.
"I know we have hurt you both..." He started again.
"I said we have already forgiven you.." I said in same tone.
"Dhriti.. Hello.
I don't know you much.
But once or twice i have seen you.. You are most honest and beautiful soul i have ever came across.
These three have done huge mistake. But they are regretting from the bottom of their heart..
Please."
The lady whom i remember as Rakshit bhaiya's wife, Soumya spoke.
"Yes she is telling truth.. " An unknown lady spoke.
"Hello.. I am your brother Shivam's wife, Samiksha..
We have never came across each other but i have heart a lot of both of you.. I have seen Shivam regretting everyday..
He would always tell me that how sorry is he and how he could have done something to support you but didn't...
Please forgive them." She continued.
I sighed.
" We have really forgiven you three..
It was not your mistake.." Swati dii started.
I cut her in between...
" But we couldn't react as nothing happened..
We never contacted you not beacause we were angry...
It's just we never felt home there. We never felt homely vibes there.
It was only your home, not ours.
It seemed that we are just living there on rent.
Your family was never ours.
It's better if we keep distance"
"And the reason why you are apologizing is because you feel sympathy for us...
It's just that you are feeling bad for the way we were treated bad.
We never shared that siblings bond.. So let it be.
We have forgiven you."
I completed.
"No it's not like as you are saying dii.. We care for you..
You are our sister" Sachin said shocked with Dhriti's words.
"No Mr Malhotra.. We never shared that brother-sister bond.
We just share the common blood, It doesn't mean that we can share a great bond.
I can't just see anyone of you as my brother.. " I said truthfully.
They looked hurt. I might sound rude but it's the truth.
"Dii.. I know you reciprocate their feelings.. I know you miss them.
You can talk to them freely..
It won't change our equation..
I promise". I said in low tone which was only audible to her.
I picked my car keys and rushed out of her home to get some peace.
I can hear dii calling me but i didn't stop. I know jiju will handle her.
I drove to my secret hide-out .
Chunchi Falls
I reached there after driving for approx. 2 hrs. As usual there were not many visitors.
I sat near cliff and kept admiring the view in front of me.
I sighed in relief and a smile of peace and satisfaction came on my face..

The Next Day
I entered the office premises and parked my car.
I came out of my car and saw Dhruv standing there leaning on his car looking at me with smile.
I returned the gesture and went near him.
"What a way to begin a day...." He grinned at me.
"Good Morning" I greeted him.
"It indeed is a beautiful morning.." He said staring at me.
I was feeling shy with his constant stare but it felt safe.
"Let's go" I said.
"After you 'Mi Lady' ." He said bowing down a little.
I chuckled at his antics.
Since this was the last month and only a week is left for the project to end it was pretty hectic.
The work burden was huge which made me skip the lunch today.
However it doesn't matter as it's usual for me to skip the meals. I hadn't seen Dhruv after morning.
I guess he has been outside for some meeting. Even his PA Aman was not here today.
I shrugged my thoughts away and concentrate on my work.

I was so much lost in my work that i didn't see the time.
"Mam.. It's 10 already... I think we should wrap it for the day..." Stella said.
It was indeed late. I nodded at her.
"Has our team left safely??" I asked.
"Yes mam.. They left half an hour ago...I had booked cabs for them as you said." She said.
"Okay.. How are you going home??" I asked.
"Mam.. ahh. actually my Friend yaa.. My friend is here to pick me" She said nervously.
I looked at her with raised eyebrow but still nodded at her.
I didn't want her to become uncomfortable.
She went out of the cabin. I stood from my chair and went near the window which was giving the city night view.
I was going back when i saw Stella hugging someone. His face was not visible when they broke the hug i saw that he was Aman.
Oh so Aman was that "friend".
I smiled looking at them.
They look good together though.
So this was what happening in office. That was the reason of Stella's reddened cheeks.
"May i come in, mam??" I heard a voice.
I turned to look at the source of the voice. There stood Dhruv Sharma in his all glory with his trademark grin on his face.
"Can I , mam??" He asked again with a grin.
"No you can't." I played along.
He entered the cabin and made an upset face.
"Ouch.. You hurt me 'Mi Lady' " He put a hand on the left side of heart where heart is.
I chuckled.
"Can i have this opportunity to take you out on dinner??" He asked bowing a little.
"Ahh.." I didn't reply.
"I insist" He showed his puppy look which was looking really funny.
"Don't" I said trying to stop my laugh.
"What??" He looked confused. 🙄
"Don't make such faces" I chuckled.
"Why?? You can't say 'No' to this face" He smirked. 😏
"Noo... You are looking like an Idiot."
I laughed. 😂😂
His face lost the smile as i burst his bubble. 😶
"This is wrong ..
I try to look cute by making this puppy face but..." He said and wiped his non existing tears.
" Let it be...
Koi nhi, Seh lenge thodha thodha "
He caressed on the left side of chest like soothing away the pain.
"You are cute..." I said pinching his cheeks.
The next second i realized what i did. I moved away from him and bent my head in embarrassment. 🙈
He chuckled at me.
How dare he?? 😒
"You are hell bent on breaking my ego today... Till now i thought i am hot but you think i am cute..." He smirked.
"Chalein??" He asked.
I just nodded with a smile not able to look into his eyes. 🙈🙈
"Hasee to phasee. 😝 " He said trying to hold my hand.
I slapped his hand away and went outside my cabin with him following me.

We reached the parking lot.
He went to his car and opened his passenger seat's door for me.
"My car ??" I asked.
"I will make sure that your car reaches your home safely or
i will be glad to pick you up from your home in the morning and you can take it back tomorrow." He said.
"Let's go.." I said.
"Sure.."
He started driving towards a deserted route.
I got confused and little bit tensed.
I started looking here and there for any clue but it was dark.
He sensed my tension and softly held my hand with his left hand.
"You will be fine.. I am here with you.. Trust me" He said while focusing on the driving.
I got a bit assured. I will be safe with him and I am sure about it.

After driving for some time we reached a busy area. There were few buildings and a residential locality. The car stopped near one of the building.
He came to my side and took me inside.
As we entered the aroma of freshly baked bread and coffee beans hit my nostrils.
There were many people sitting there.
He went to the reception and asked something. The receptionist nodded and called someone.

"Come.. Let's go upstairs." He came to my side and said.
I simply nodded and we went upstairs.
We reached the terrace and it was simply beautiful
It was giving the beautiful Bangalore city view. There were only few persons upstairs. We went to a separate area.
We sat on our seats enjoying the night breeze and city view.
"It's beautiful..." I said.
"I know" He gave a genuine smile.
"Why did you take that scheduled route to this place... I was scared.. I thought..." I started.
"Easy.. Easy.. I was not planning to kidnap you" He cut in between.
"You were not in the office for whole day??" I asked.
"You were missing me.." He smirked.
"I never said that.." I defended myself.
"Yaa yaa.. I know" He said knowingly.
"I had outdoor meetings today.." He said. I nodded at him.
We talked about normal things. By the time our order also arrived.
We had our meal.
"Ice cream or cake??" He asked.
"I know the answer though.." He answered the question himself before i can say something.
I nodded at him to go ahead with the order.
"I will just come..." He said and went away. I shrugged and went near the glass railing for the better view.

Someone came and patted my back . I startled.
"Mam your order. " He said.
What was the need to touch while giving the order??
Wait i will give him his lesson.
I turned to give him the piece of mind. I saw Dhruv standing with our order.
"What are you doing?? You scared me again.." I said sternly.
"Sorry..." He said smiling sheepishly.
"Come here.." He said took me to our table.
I looked at the plate in his hands which contained two cups of ice cream and there were rose petals lying on the tray for decoration.
"Dhriti, i wanted to say something.." He was looking nervous.
I looked at him in confused.
" Dhriti you remember the day we met.. " He asked while i nodded.
"I had met many girls but no one managed to pull string of my heart till that day.." He said.
He made me sit on my chair and sat on his knees while holding my hands.
He was looking at me with an unknown expressions.
"You know what different happened that day??" He asked.
I knew where it was going...
But i didn't want him to stop.
I didn't reply anything.
"I will tell you... That day a girl managed to create a complete havoc in my heart with her anger and innocence." He said.
I remember that day clearly..
I thought he was some worker there who was busy goofing around rather than doing his work..
But he turned out to be Sakshi mam's son.. my Mr. FLIRT
"I wanted to know you more and to be with you... I started coming there twice a day when mom was out of town.
I came there just to see your smile, your anger, to hear your scolding and threats about complaining to maa"
He laughed while saying last line.
I also chuckled.
I remember when i would see him around every time whenever i was working and i used to scold him, "Doesn't he have any work "
"Let Sakshi mam come.. I will tell her about your behaviour"
"I thought it was just an attraction.. But it was more than that.
I wanted to see you everyday.. I wanted to make you smile... I wanted to have some space in your heart... That day someone made me realize it's more than attraction..
That day i realized i fell for you😍😍." He looked at me with happiness on his face. ❤❤
"Dhriti... I want to be with you always... I want to be with you in your good and bad..
I want to be the reason of your smile.. I want to be your support system.
I want to make sure that you are not alone.....
I want to take away all your pain and give happiness in return. I want to kiss away your tears.. 😘
I want to erase that pain and loneliness that you have hidden behind your fake and formal smile..
I want to heal you, love you and give you all the happiness.

He asked with happiness on his face and his eyes shining with tears.
I was also in tears.
Noo i can't..
I want to scream that i love you but i can't be selfish.
I can't spoil his happiness with my worries.
"Dhruv.. You know i can't" As i said tears rolled down my cheek.
He looked at me in disbelief.
"I am sorry Dhruv... You deserve better." I sobbed.
He got up and moved his hands in his hair.
He went near the railing and sighed.
After a few seconds he came back and stood near me.
He looked at me with teary eyes and held my hands again.
"Look into my eyes.."
He said with no expressions. The love and happiness present earlier was absent now.
I looked into his eyes. His eyes were bloodshot read.
I made him cry.
" Let it flow... Don't hold your emotions" He said politely.
This was it..
The tears which i was holding betrayed me and rolled down .
Sob after sob. He dragged my hand making me stand and took into his arms.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and my emotions flow.
He caressed my back and spoke soothing words to calm me down.
Dii's words from that day came to my mind.
'He loves you and respects you truly.'
'It's clearly visible in his eyes.'
'If happiness is knocking on your doorstep, don't let it go.'
'The feeling of love is really beautiful'.
The way he had calmed me down, supported me , made me laugh and all our memories came in front of my eyes.
I can't let him go.
I broke our hug and looked at his wet eyelashes.
Who says boys doesn't cry and don't show their emotions?? they do show their emotions but only in the front of their special ones. It doesn't make them weak.
If a boy truly shows you his emotions and cry in your arms, he is the one.
Never let him go.

I cupped his face in my palms and looked into his eyes.
"I am an orphan.. I don't have anyone behind or with me except few. I have no friends..
I had my family but i don't fell any connection with them. I didn't forgive them when they asked for forgiveness....
I am all alone..
Do you still want to be with me??"
I asked.
"If you have that 'few persons' then how can you be orphan or alone..
And to that few persons you can add up me and my family...
They already love you...😉" He said smiling widely. 😄😁
He joined our heads together.
"I love you... Trust 'US' ." He said us pointing to me and him. ❤❤
"I do.."
I said closing my eyes. This time tear rolling down in happiness.
"Do what??
Love or Trust??" He asked mischeviously.
"Trust.." I giggled.🙊
"Come on yaar.." He made a face.😣🙄
I giggled at him.
"I love you..." I finally said.
He showed me his breathtaking smile.
"I Love you...." He screamed. 🤗😍
We chuckled. Our faces were still inches apart.
"I can't believe this is reality."
I said closing my eyes.
He placed his lips on my forehead and rest them there for s
ometime.😘😘
"Wake up dear.. This is reality.
All your dreams are going to come true.. of course the happy ones"
We moved apart and he winked at me. 😉
We looked at our dessert which have turned into chocolate milk from ice-cream. 🍧🍨
"I think chocolate milk would do??" He chuckled. 😂😝
"Definitely.." I said.
We sat on our seats.
"So it was a Date.. Our first date??" I asked. 🤔😁
"Date?? Yes..
First date?? Noo" He said.
I looked at him in confusion. 🤔
"Madam already forget when we went to a cafe and danced in rain afterwards.." He said.
"Oh... Yaaa" I said in realization.😅
