Tom POV
"Tom Tom Tom Tom Tom Tom Tom!"
I fluttered my eyes open and saw my beautiful best friend Y/n jumping on my bed.
"Yes?" I groaned still tired
"Oh my gosh Tom wake up your 14!!"
I realized today was my birthday.
"I am!" I said
Y/n sat on my bed and frowned
"What?" I asked
"We will never be the same age" she said
"Oh well." I said
I started laughing and she looked at me confused.
"What?" She asked
"Your 12 and I'm 14" I said
"Not for long. Tomorrow I'll be 13" she smirked
"That's right" I smiled.
"Here" she said
She handed me a tiny box and told me to open it.
I took off the wrapping and opened the box.
There lay a beautiful ring.
"I know you love rings so I got you one!" She said excitedly
"Do you like it?"
Wow
"Hello earth to tommy"
"It's beautiful" I said
She smiled at me her beautiful smile and I put on the ring.
"I love it so much" I said
I hugged her then tried to go back to sleep
"Nuh-uh" she argued "you are coming with me so hurry up and get dressed"
"Ugh fine" she left my room then after a minute I went back to sleep.
"THOMAS ANDREW FELTON!"
Oops
"Come on get dressed" she says barging into my room
I finally got up and threw on sweatpants and a t-shirt.
I walked out of my room to see y/n waiting for me
"I see someone finally decided to get up."
"Whatever. What did you want to show me?"
"Well you will find out if you follow me"
She said
We walked down stairs to be greeted by my parents.
"Happy birthday Tom!" They said
"Y/n has quite the surprise for you so go follow her and have fun"
My mom said
"Thanks mom! Bye"
I followed y/n outside and she led me to behind her house.
"This is my garden as you know" she started
"But this" she led me further to see a field of grass with a bunch of flowers and butterflies "is my secret spot"
There was a blanket set up with all my favourite foods.
"Woah" was all u could say
Y/n laughed at my face and we sat down.
We are and talked and laughed and it was probably the best birthday breakfast I've had ever.
"Thank you y/n/n"
"Anything for my best friend."
We spent the day doing all my favourite things and I had the best day.
We soon got tired and since tomorrow was Y/ns birthday I went back to my house and went to bed. But first I checked Instagram and smiled
Y/n POV
I woke up to water in my face
"Hey!"
It was Tom
"Haha"
"I didn't soak you in water! I just jumped on you until you got up!"
"Well I tried to wake you up but you wouldn't get up! Dress very warm then tell me when you done" Tom said
"Ok"
I got into some jeans and a white sweater.
"Tom! I'm done" I said sitting on my bed.
He walked in
"So now I have a present for you before we go to your surprise."
He gave me a very tiny box. I opened it and gasped.
It was a tiny snake charm to go on my braclet that he got me last year.
"Tommy!!!! I love it!" I yelled
I jumped onto him giving him a huge hug.
He laughed and helped me put the charm on the braclet.
"Thank you tommy. I love it so much"
"Anything for you. Now come on grab you shoes and phone"
I put on my shoes and grabbed my phone. I followed Tom down stairs.
He walked me out side and we walked for about ten minutes.
"Tom where are we going?"
We were now in the village.
"Tada!" We were at an empty ice rink
"I reserved it so all of us could skate all day!" He said
"All of us?" I turned around
"Emma! Dan! Rup! Hi!!"
"Hi happy birthday y/n/n!" They said
We went to get skates and then we put them on.
Once we got on the ice I was able to glide around pretty easily.
"How do you do that!?" Rupert asked
"I don't know. I think it's the dancer genes" I joked. He laughed and we all started skating.
We all fell multiple times but we laughed it off.
We skated for hours and we had a lot of fun.
After about 5hours we got really cold so we had to leave.
We said our goodbyes then Tom and I walked back to my house.
"I have one more surprise" he said
He brought me up to my room and then I looked out the window.
There I saw a platform connecting a part of my roof and toms roof so we could walk over to each other's rooms and see each other. It was also supported by the tree in the middle of our windows.
"Tom! Omg this is so cool! Are you sure it's sturdy though? I don't want to fall"
"Of course it's sturdy look."
He opened my window and got on the platform. He jumped a few times and told me to get on.
I reluctantly did.
"Woah" I said.
The tree towered over the platform.
I looked at the trees trunk that was holding up the platform and saw pillows and blankets.
"We can sit out here and watch the stars." He said
"I love it" I said
Tom and I sat against the huge tree trunk and watched the stars. We were so high up in the air but it didn't scare me.
It began to get very dark and the last thing I remember was Tom saying
"Happy birthday y/n/n. I love you" then I drifted off to sleep.
