I hesitantly followed Dallas outside. A million thoughts raced through my mind as the door closed behind us, leaving the two of us alone.

He took long, silent drags of his cigarette, the smoke releasing into the thick, spring air. I got lost in his diverted, stone hard eyes. Even though he had a bit of a squint, you could see he had big eyes; ones that can make you all cute and innocent looking.

Dallas Winston, however, is not innocent, and they aren't very fitting to his personality.

"How've you been, kid?" He finally looks up at me, flicking his cigarette to the ground and stomping on it.

"I've been better than ever, honestly." I reply with my head up.

"Well, Johnny missed you a whole lot, man, more than the rest of us."

"I was happiest to see 'im; he's still got that big glow in his eyes that- you don't wanna hear my girly shit." I cut my sentence short, staring into his eyes.

He shifts uncomfortably, "Man, could you stop lookin' at me like ya wanna kill me?"

"Well, I need to see my friend- Sarah." I lied.

"Look at you, making Soc friends." He smirks, his dimples showing off.

"Yeah, she's really nice, and I gotta get to her house, so I need to go."

I head inside and grab my sunflowers. They still look fresh and smell nice.

"I gotta go y'all. I'm meeting up with some girlfriends." I say quickly.

We say our goodbyes and I start over to "my house." Which is actually going to be Bob's house.

I quickly knock on the white door. The golden handle pulls and a lady stands there, smiling at me.

She has nice, clean teeth and wore a light blue dress. Her pearl necklace and matching earrings complete her nice 'housewife' look.

"Hello dear, you must be Elizabeth. Bob is waiting upstairs." She guides me inside.

"Thank you, and call me Liz." I smile politely.

I walk up the marble staircase to see a large hallway. The walls are painted a mint green. There are framed football jerseys with the name 'Sheldon' on the backs with trophies lining up shelves. On the opposite sides, there are pictures. One consists of Bob, standing next to a man who has his eyes and red, curly hair.

Must be his father.

Another picture is of the lady, she's wearing a beautiful white dress, a wedding dress, and the man that I saw in the previous picture. He's wearing a suit and tie. I guess they're married.

"Like the pictures?" I snap my head to the side, meeting Bob's gaze.

His big frame leans against the wall, facing me. My cheeks heat up, and I guess he notices, because he chuckles and nods his head toward a door.

I slowly follow him down the large hall and into the door. His bedroom. The walls are white, with bamboo flooring. There's a bed that looks about king-size at one corner, with baby blue covers. At one side of the room are bean bag chairs, a mix of colors. There's a desk at the corner; a writing desk, where he probably does his homework since there's a backpack siting next to it.

"I like your room," I blurt absent-mindedly, "it's really organized."

"Thanks, I cleaned up a bit. Trust me, it's always a mess." We both laugh quietly.

After a few minutes of awfully uncomfortable silence, I decide to speak up.

"So, you wanted to speak to me."

"Yeah, I'm really sorry for what those assholes did a few days ago, Liz. I'm not sure if they were drunk, or just stupid, but it still doesn't make up for what they did. And I know it's a really crappy apology, but if I could be of any help, I'm here, alright?"

I stare at him for a moment. His hopeful expression falters with every passing second; but I hug him. I reach my arms around his buffed torso and hold him tight. He reaches his arms around mine and grips me, his head resting on the crook of my neck. We stay there for a while, and I feel comfort. We don't know each other very well; in fact, we're supposed to be enemies, but I know that he's kind to me.

I pull away, "An apology is all I need right now, Bob. Thank you."

"No problem, babe. You know where to find me, alright?" He smiled, guiding me to the front door.

We said our goodbyes and I took the short walk back to my house.

I wonder if Marcus had anything to eat while I was gone. Maybe he got out the house and went to a cafe or something. I hope he showered. Ugh, jeez Elizabeth. Stop worrying.

I finally reach my house and enter.

"Marcus, you here?" I call out.

I take a look around. It's sunset, and sunlight is streaming from the windows. Things are calm; just the way I'd prefer it. I brush the tranquil feeling off and search for Marcus. I decide to check the music room first. Nobody.

Just as I'm passing my room, I hear light snores. Bingo.

He lays there peacefully. His mouth slightly agape, his eyes lightly closed, and his body curled up on one side of my bed like a cat. My favorite side of Marcus is this one, where he's off-guard and doesn't care about his appearance.

I let out a yawn; God, today was so boring. I kick off my heels and climb in bed next to him, wrapping my arms around his large torso.

I could stay like this forever.

A/N- I'm so sorry for the long wait, y'all...
