0.3 Bravado

Sienna's head throbbed but she was glad about the oxygen that finally filled her lungs. Her eyes fluttered open slowly, taking in her surroundings.

She racked her brain for previous events and when she finally remembers, she jumped up from the couch her legs nearly failing her.

"Hey-hey calm down." Sienna turned to see the teenage boy again, a slight frown on his face.

Sienna glared at him. "Where am I? What happened?" She questioned.

Scott sighed. "You're at my house and you sort of had an asthma attack. Trust me, I know how much they suck but we luckily found your inhaler before my mom could suggest my one." He chuckled nervously.

Sienna just started at him warily.

"I guess you could also call her your mom." Sienna's eyes widen, as she felt her breath hitch again.

"You're awake." Melissa spoke in relief, as Sienna and Scott both turn to her in unison.

Scott stood up, as he moved towards Sienna. Standing next to him, Sienna could see how much taller he was compared to her. She wasn't short, but she still wasn't at Scott's height yet.

"I should go." Sienna quickly remarks, grabbing her stuff. Her vision still blurry whilst she tried to make out the stuff she was holding.

Melissa sighed, as she grabbed a hold of Sienna's arm gently bringing her back.

"Don't touch me!" Sienna exclaims.

Her outburst shocks the other McCall's, and their facial expression just wanted to make Sienna run more. Anger spread through her body whilst she clenched her fist.

Sienna looked up at Scott, as she finally understood what's happening. "You're the one he was talking about. He was saying something about splitting us up. I didn't know what at the time."

Scott could barely open his mouth to speak whilst Sienna began talking again except facing their mother.

"And apparently you're my mother so that's something." Melissa nodded her head slowly; her eyes red from all the crying she had done.

Melissa never thought she would see her little girl again, she wasn't exactly so little anymore which shocked Ms McCall on so many levels, indicating the last time she saw her daughter was just as a baby. It was hard for her to give her daughter up to her father; she didn't even want to do it.

But it was only fair at that time and she wanted Rafael as far away from her as possible. They promised never to tell the twins, they promise to stay away from each other and live their own lives. No contact. No nothing.

It took every part of Melissa to accept the offer, but there wasn't a day that went by that she didn't think of her daughter or the thought of telling Scott.

Twins are never meant to be split up. It was mistake Melissa made, that she would always regret but at the time it seemed like the only option.

"Your Dad called, just after your asthma attack. I was shocked but it didn't take a genius to figure out how alike we look. I didn't need him to tell me you were my daughter." Melissa stated her voice gentle.

Sienna didn't even bat an eyelash, anger engulfed her. She didn't want to like these people. Her mother abandoned her, and kept who she thinks is her brother. It was just a tragic story Sienna was pulled into and she was the lost cause. She was the thing that nobody wanted.

"Why didn't you fight for me? Was I not worth it?" Sienna questioned, her eyes watering.

Sienna promised herself she wouldn't cry, because crying led her to nowhere and she didn't want to feel sorry for herself because that was just downright ridiculous to Sienna.

Melissa widens her eyes, in sorrow. "Of course not, no Sienna you meant the world to me. You mean the world to me." Sienna scoffed in disbelief.

Scott stared at Sienna who he just found out was his sister. He was angry too but mostly at his dad. The way his father just threw her out and made her come to California on her own made Scott feel sick to his stomach. He was no father, just a donor that didn't deserve him or Sienna.

Sienna shook her head, as her vision became blurry again. "S-so what you're like my brother." She questioned, giving Scott a pointed look.

Scott nodded hesitantly. "Mom what's the age difference between us?"

"Five minutes give or take."

Sienna and Scott's eyes widen in disbelief.

"We're-were twins?" Sienna whispered in disbelief.

"Yes I thought you knew that." Melissa answers, confusion etched on her features.

"Are you joking? I thought you were dead let alone knew I had a twin brother!"

Scott shook his head in disappointment at his mother. This whole time he had a sister! A twin sister! Looking at Sienna, Scott could quickly see the similarities between them, but the red in her hair and the way she was dressed, you could easily identify how different they were.

He wanted to know why she didn't grow up with them. He hardly heard his mother's conversation with his father on the phone, but he heard how his mother yelled at how she couldn't believe he threw her out.

How could his dad be so much of a jerk to do that? Scott looked at Sienna and saw more of a story to her like she had been through way more than he has.

He just didn't read her by the clothes she was wearing or the amount of makeup she had on or even the red in her hair.

"It's late; maybe you two should get some sleep. Scott you have school tomorrow." Melissa announced, already getting a headache since she just came back from the hospital.

Sienna forcefully kept her mouth shut, if she didn't notice how tired Melissa looked she would have scoffed and tell her she wasn't going to stay here. Sienna was a stubborn person and when she created havoc, only chaos followed by.

Scott walked away without another word or even a glance at his new sister. Melissa looked hesitant to tell Sienna what she had to tell her next, considering everything that had happened. She was truly devastated about the years she missed with Sienna, every time she thought about it only brought tears to her eyes. She in fact did wish she fought for her daughter more; it was so out of character for her not to.

"You to Sienna, your father enrolled you to Beacon Hills High school." Sienna chuckled at Melissa's words, but there was no humour in it.

"He wanted me gone that badly."

"He-"

"I don't want to hear it." Sienna snapped as she sighed in irritation. "Where do I put my stuff?" She muttered, avoiding eye contact.

"There's a room upstairs, your first right." Melissa replied.

Sienna rolled her eyes as she grabbed her bag. She hated this. She hated her father and she hated Beacon Hills more than anything.

There's no way, she was going to call this place home. Her mother didn't have to worry about her since she would leave in no time. She was basically a problem and her leaving would probably make all of them happy.

Sienna stumped into the room she was instructed to go to. She looked around, furrowing her brows.

The room had plain white walls, with a simple purple bed spread. The room was cold and dark that it made her shiver. It had a reasonably sized bed but Sienna didn't want to think about it or admire it anymore.

She was going to be out in no time.

Night had already fallen and Sienna had already changed into something more comfortable.

Whilst blasting the song Bravado into her ears, she didn't notice someone had came into her room.

The teenage boy stood awkwardly in front of Sienna, as he watched her pull out her ear piece.

"Do you want something?" Sienna questioned harshly, not wanting to be disturbed especially when she was listening to music.

Scott cleared his throat awkwardly as his mouth closed and opened like a fish out of water. "Um mom just wanted me to tell you. Dinner is ready." He mentally cursed himself for being so stupid.

Sienna glared at Scott nearly making him flinch.

"Well tell Melissa she can suck it." Scott didn't miss the harsh tone when she said their mother's name.

He knew why she was angry. She had every reason to be. Scott nodded in reply obviously not going to tell his mom exactly what she said.

"Wait." Sienna called out before he could shut the door. "What's your name?" She asked, biting her lip at the awkwardness of not knowing her own twin brothers name.

"It's Scott." Scott smiled but didn't receive one back.

Once he left, Sienna couldn't help but think how the hell they could be twins. They were obviously too different.

She cringed at the fact, their names but started with an 'S'. They kept them away from each other but they had the decency to make similarities between them.

She put in back her ear phones, making it louder this time. She considers for second to actually go to school but that was probably a fat chance.

Like Sienna said, she didn't want to like these people she was meant to call her family even after what her father did, Sienna couldn't help but think about going back to him. She still hated him for what he did but he was all she had, all she knew.

"I was frightened of every little thing I thought was out get me. To trip me up, and laugh at me' Sienna hated when songs described what she was feeling. To her it seemed like they were almost mocking her.

She didn't want to get pushed back down again, just after reaching the surface.

In her process of trying to sleep, she heard a loud noise from the roof, like someone was climbing over it. She wanted to check it out, but sleep quickly pulled her in.

Sienna was far from knowing her nightmare wasn't going to end when she opened her eyes. You would expect it to, but not when you live in Beacon Hills.

The only thing unknown to Sienna is that, she was going to wake up with a lot of warnings.
