Chapter27

Eileen watched the boys close the small gap they had created and looked ahead of her. Din Baba and Dimash were already walking and Sammy was looking at her, Eileen in turn looked at the boys who only pointed towards their father, as if to say follow them. Eileen rolled her eyes and grabbed Sammy's arm and the girls started walking, the small procession moved in double file.

They kept walking at a slow pace for some time, Din baba and Dimash were having an animated discussion but neither of the two girls could understand the language they were speaking, but for her glances at the boys waling behind them Eileen knew the were listening very closely as well. By no she had gathered that the taller one was called Saleem and the slightly more muscular one, who was older than Sabir was called Saleem. Sabir, the younger brother looked much kinder than Saleem, and Eileen thought that she could explain their situation to him if she could get a chance, because judging by the looks of it, there was no way Din baba would hear them out or even let them talk to Dimash.

She could not believe how just a day ago they were lamenting over the fact of just missing him and then celebrating over the coincidence of getting to see him. She could not believe which was more impossible their situation and everything they discovered a few hours or the very real form the one and only walking in front of them. May be Sammy was thinking the same thing because she tugged on Eileen's arm and said into her ear, while her eyes never moved from who walked in front of them, "He looks much taller in person." Eileen looked down at her and stifled her giggle, the whooshing sound that escaped her caused everyone to loo in their direction. Eileen pretended to sneeze while Sammy just looked toward the floor, her hair covering both sides of her face, but Eileen knew from the quivering of her shoulder that the girl was just hiding her own laugh. Din Baba clicked his tongue three times and turned around again. Sammy too Eileen's arm and they took a step ahead, when Eileen could feel that it was safe to look up again her eyes met an expression of concern on Dimash's face. She felt a little embarrassed, but she knew she could forgive herself for this one. Some girls might have gone crazy in this situation but so far both of them had kept their head.

After a few moments Sammy tugged her arm again and whispered, "I do not like this, we came here to get our friends back not be trapped like animals."

Eileen turned her head a little and saw that Saleem and Sabir were still on their tail. "I do not like this either, this was not how it was supposed to be."

"Certainly," the girl replied and stopped walking. Saleem and Sabir bumped into them.

"What's the problem with you two?" Saleem sneered.

"We are not going anywhere with you guys," answered Sammy. "At least not until you explain what is going on in this place."

"Listen to me girl," Saleem Baba said to her in a commanding voice. You two were caught sneaking into a place, you ought to have no idea existed, while possessing something that should never ben in the hands of innocent Dears. So, save the drama for someone who is more stupid than you.""

"Uh, first of all her name is Sammy and I am Eileen. Mr. Din Ba Ba," She said focusing on each syllable as if it was a separate word. "Secondly, like I said we were only looking for our friend and just the fact that you brush that away and don't even bother to ask how we got the map or what happened to her shows nothing but ill will from your side."

"I pay no heed to your words because I know you only speak lies." Answered Din Baba his expressions getting wilder with each word that came out of his mouth. "Dimash we can't waste time on these girls we need to check the temple soon, for the must have done the deed by now or are just trying to stall us."
