"What a nice lips. Who would thought it will taste that good. I want to taste that again soon enough... " Ephraim said while has a playful smile on his Lucius lips. I snapped out from my thoughts because of that but glared at him as soon as I realized what he just said.

"If your lucky enough to have one again Mister" I simply said rolling my eyes off him, at nagtungo na sa harap ng pinto para pagbuksan ang taong kanina pa katok ng katok duon.

Nahiya pa sigurong sirain.

"Yes? Sorry for the long wait. Just had few businesses" Formal na sabi ko dun sa lalaking asa harap ko nang mabuksan ko yung pinto. Pero hind iyun ang nakaagaw ng attention ko kundi ang mga men in Black na nasa likod nya at sure akong nag kalat sila sa buong hospital sa dami.

I frowned slightly. Don't tell me na hostage kami ng mga sindikato? But wait, this man in front of me don't look like one. His too pretty to be one.

"Oh hello, you must be Doctor Briar Montien? Am i correct, No?" He greeted rather friendly. Ilang saglit naman akong napatitig sa kanya before finally smile at him weirdly.

"Y-yes. That's me. Can i help you with something?" Magalang na tanong pabalik, pero hindi ko talaga maiwasang magtaka dahil ang lapad ng ngiti nito na para bang may mga bagay itong nalalaman na hindi ko alam. Something is definitely fishy here. I'm not that dumb not to know.

"My name is Mathew Calvente. I'm here for the person who you help just this few other days, I'm his acquaintance" Magiliw na pakilala nito at ngumiti ng pag kalapad lapad sa akin. Hindi ko tuloy alam kung anong magiging reaction ko dun.

His really handsome just to be true. Sya yung tipo ng lalaki na bagay na bagay matawag na heartthrob sa school. Maliban sa masigla at masiyahin ang aura nito ay meron itong kakaibang aura na talaga namang pag nakita mo ay matatanggal ang stress mo. Though I don't know his age but I'm sure it's just few years older that me. Still qualified to be an idol in school.

And base on his appearance his not from here either dahil mukhang may lahi ito, like Ephraim who's surprising understand tagalog. Pero hindi ko lang alam kung nakakaintindi rin itong si Mathew as for he said ng tagalog.

"Is that so? Well please come in. I almost thought that no-one might actually came here for him. But thankfully there's still one" I answered politely then nilakihan ang bukas ng pinto. Naiwan naman yung mga men in Black sa labas ng pumasok sya.

After kong maisara yung pinto ay nakita kong nag lakad na itong si Mathew palapit kay Ephraim. Pero medyo naningkit ang mata ko ng may makita color red na bagay sa may baba ng labi ni Ephraim. Nanglaki ang mata ko dun ng marealize ko kung ano iyun at dali daling kumuha ng tissue, to wipe it off.

My lipstick ako duon, probably dahil sa kiss kanina. This is kinda embarrassing. Ok lang naman kung kami lang ang nakakaalam nun, pero iba na yun pag may ibang taong nakalaam nang about dun. I don't want to be judged wrongly about it. Nangmakalapit na ako sa kanila ay walang pasabing pinunasan ko ang labi ni Ephraim, medyo gulat ito pero hindi ko na sya pinansin at naka focus lang sa pag tanggal nung lipstick as fast as i can.

"May lipstick" I simply whispered but loud enough to be heard by them na parang wala lang iyun sa akin. But I know deep inside me I was panicking as heck. I just heard Ephraim chuckled, while Mathew smiled as wide as a field towards me. Sending those crazy stares at me na para bang nagihinuha na nga kung anong nangyari.

I made i mental note on myself na wag itong sapukin dahil baka ipadakip ako nito sa mga men in black na asa labas kaya sinarili ko na lang yung inis ay hiya sa pinaka ilalalim ng utak ko.

"Why not let it be there. Remembrance would be great" Ephraim stated playfully and for a second ay parang nakita kong kuminang yung mata nya.

"Sorry, but my lipstick doesn't suits you" I answered right back at him at tumayo para pumunta sa trash bin na malapit sa table ko, to throw tissue away na may lipstick ko.

Makalipas naman ang ilang sandali ay nag simula na silang mag usap kaya hindi ko nalang sila pinansin and let them be. Kinuha ko naman ang lipstick ko sa bag at nag retouch. After some time ay may tumawag sa akin na nurse kaya nag excuse ako sa kanila.

"Doc bri pinapatawag kayo ni Doc Zack sa office nya" Sabi nung nurse na bagong dating.

"Bakit daw?" Tanong ko at kinunutan sya ng nuo but umiling lang ito pabalik indicating na hindi nya rin alam kung bakit kaya nag buntong hininga nalang ako duon.

"Ok I'll be there" Sagot ko and stand from my chair ready to go but bago pa man ako makalabas ng tuluyan ay napatigil ako dahil sa biglang pag tatanong ni Ephraim.

"Who is Zack?" He ask seriously while looking directly into my eyes. I just frown and stop the urge to shivered dahil sa coldness nang pag kakasabi nya nun.

"Someone who's none of your business. Now will you please excuse me" I frankly said pero sa magalang na way parin, and push away the sudden cold in my spine dahil sa tinging binibigay nya sa akin. Umalis narin naman ako after pero hindi nakatakas sa gilid ng mga mata ko kung paano masurprise si Mathew dahil sa ginawa ko, na para bang ako palang ang pinaka unang taong sumagot ng ganun kay Ephraim.

This people is so weird... Oh well, who care. Hindi naman sila kawalan.

EPHRAIM'S (DEATH) POV

"Someone who's none of your business. Now will you please excuse me " Bri said mindlessly then left us. I clenched my fist because of that.

Zack huh... I wonder if it's just the same name... Nevertheless it's still the ugliest name I know. Tsk...

"Woah... That's unexpected. Mukhang nahanap mo na katapat mo ah" Mangas na sabi ni Mathew but pilit nitong tinatago ang tawa nito. I glared at him.

"Shut up Mathew" I coldly hissed. Agad naman itong nag taas ng kamay sa ere saying na his surrendering already.

"Relax Death. Masyado kang mainit. Nasusunog ang kagwapohan ko sayo" The bastard said cockily. Mariin akong napapikit duon. He don't really know when and how to just shut up, is he?

"I said shut up or else I'll really burn you to ashes" I warned. Just thinking Bri talking to another man make my blood boiled. Baka sa kanya ko maibaling ang inis ko at hindi na sya sikatan ng araw bukas.

"Heartless as always Death. But anyway sya ba yung sinasabi mong isasama mo? " He asked. Tumango lang naman ako dun. His expression dropped and become serious.

"Are you sure? You know she can be in danger. Specially at our current situation. And what if enemy found out about her too? Sure akong sya naman ang pupuntiryahin nila since their trap didn't kill you so they need to think another way to bring you down. What will you do about this Death? Im telling you don't be so careless, again" Mahabang pahayag nito, and eyed carefully.

"She'll be fine. She's something who's hard to kill, trust me. Don't underestimate her" I chuckled.

"Fine, I'll agree whatever your planning is. At least for now... But a little advice. Don't fall for her. I know you, hindi mo sya isasama for nothing... And I hope it's not what I'm thinking right now... Soon enough she'll know about you. About us. Kung anong uri ng tao tayo. And then what? Of course, she'll leave. Marami nang nawala sa atin Death. You know that more than anyone. You never learn at all" He seriously said while looking at me blankly. His voice was firm and held a threat.

He might look a happy go lucky type of guy. But trust me, his far much different from that. It's just his front. A shell that's hide his monster and true colors. His dangerous than me in some point.

"I have my plans" I just responded calmly, still unfazed. Tumango tango naman ito.

"Hmm... I'll trust that plan of yours for now. But when she gets in the way.... I'm telling you, I show no mercy even though she's a woman" He then threaten me once again. I meet his gaze but I just stared at him expressionless.

"I know that more than anyone Mathew. But I don't show mercy in my friends too... Specially at our current situation. So touching my girl would be a bad idea..." I whispered licking my lower lip, as I glared at him deadly as if trying to slice him with it. He fell silent and i smirked at him dangerously.

Not one, but two can play his game.
