After they shared a dinner, Herain immediately goes to her room and washed up hoping to sleep first to avoid staying up all night again

This time, when she slowly entered his room

Rhaveir was already reclining on his bed waiting for her

'I guess I won't be able to sleep peacefully tonight' she thought to herself

Sensing her presence, Rhaveir gaze at her as he asked "Why are you still standing there?"

Herain calmly walked towards him then got on his bed and as she was about to lay down, Rhaveir suddenly held her hand

"Where is your ring?" he asked

"I lost it" she calmly replied trying to mask her lies

"I'll buy you a new one" he stated

"There's no need for that because we already have a contract paper that binds me to you" she replied

Rhaveir gaze at her deeply as he asked "Is there anything you want to do?, maybe travel to Italy?"

Herain scoffed as she just remembered that she once mention it to Rhavy that she wanted to go to Greece and Italy

"Then, can I go there alone?" she asked as she gaze at his mesmerizing dark blue eyes

Rhaveir's grip on her hand tightened as he coldly said "You want to get away from me"

"Yes, I really do" she seriously responded

'Because it hurts when you act like you care for me' she thought to herself

Rhaveir smirked at her remark as he grabbed her closer to him and held her chin

"If you still have an inkling idea of leaving then I will make it sure that you won't have that thought ever again" he coldly stated

"Is that so?" she apathetically replied

"I will destroy Ishid's career and even let him rot in prison for a crime he didn't commit, I will also fire Vivian and make sure she can never meet with my assistant again" he threatened

"Vivian and Ishid didn't do anything wrong, there's no reason for you to do that" Herain exclaimed

"Your idea of leaving is already a good enough reason, and it seems like you have gotten close with Elayne" he stated

"I can make her live a life like her mother and make sure she doesn't get a single decent job" he added as his other hand grabbed a strand of Herain's hair

"You wouldn't do that, she had done her best to serve you, Vivian and Ishid as well as Elayne doesn't deserve to be treated that way" Herain argued

"They might be important to you but their worth are just trivial for me" he coldly stated

‘Elayne was with him since he was still studying and she worked for him for so long and contribute a lot to his company and yet her worth was so little in his eyes’ she thought

Herain was left speechless by how heartless he is and fear is the only thing she felt at the moment

‘He can even cruely abandon someone who helped him, how much more someone as useless as me’ she thought

Seeing her face that was about to tear up from fear, he lets go of her chin and embraced her whole body

"Yes I'm threatening you, I don't know what else I could do to make you stay with me" he stated while enveloping her body

"I know I'm being irrational but it drives me crazy whenever I feel like you're going to disappear from my arms" he added as he held unto her tightly

"Why?, you can just get another toy" Herain replied trying to act calm when her heartbeat was getting fast

"Do you think I can fall in love with someone other than you?" he asked

"Huh?" Herain uttered in a daze

Rhaveir lets go of her and gaze at her eyes as he cupped her face on his hand

"I am not one of those good guys who lets go of someone they love only to see them happy in someone else's arms, I fell in love with you therefor you take responsibility for stealing my heart" he stated

"Did I hear you right?, did you just say you loved me?" she asked

"I do" he uttered

His words kept ringing on Herain's ear as her heart was beating like crazy

"So can't you stay with me?, I'll give you anything you want" he pleaded as he held Herain's hand and placed it on his lips

This cold man before her who can get whatever he wants is begging her to stay

He even retorted to using threats just to make sure she remained rooted by his side

This very man who never allows anyone to meddle in his life is now opening his heart just for her
