Chapter 32

Tord's POV

I was starting to think Tom wasn't going to wake up. That is until I heard his voice. I soon heard the lock click unlocked and a small chain hitting the door before it opened. Tom froze when his gaze landed on me. His eyes wide. I cleared my throat nervously "Um.. Hello Thomas" I said

He stared up at me, heh shorty, and gulped "Tord.. I-is that really you..?" Tom asked, hopefulness inside his voice "Please let this be real.." He muttered

"Well, I hope this is real. I've been awake for almost a week" I said, my accent bursting out all of a sudden. Tom's cheeks turned a little red when it did

"That long?" Tom asked

I shrug "Maybe more" I said

Tom paused before he came over and hugged me. Which surprised me. But I hugged back nonetheless "Let's go inside" Tom said pulling away from the hug. Before I could say anything he pulled me inside and shut the door. He turned to look at me and paused "Look, I'm happy you're here but, how did you know where I live?" Tom asked

"You told me remember?" I said

Tom paused "Oh" He looked up at me "I forgot you were taller than me" Tom said causing me to chuckle

"I didn't" I said and Tom rolled his eyes

He looked over me before his gaze landed on my right arm "Wait a minute, wasn't your arm amputated?"

I chuckled "Mhm, but I had time to fix that problem" I said

"Hold on, before we continue with any more questions, go sit on the couch. I'll be right back"  He said and pushed me towards the living room before leaving the apartment. He might be going to get Edd and Matt

I smiled. It was good to be back. I walked over snd sat down on the couch. It was comfortable, it looked just like our old one too. Actually, Tom's living room looked like our old house's living room. Comforting

I put one hand on my lap, the other on the couch arm and sat back. I let my gaze travel around the room as I waited for Tom to come back. My gaze darted over to the door when it opened. Tom walked in first, seemingly exited

I waved shortly, then Edd and Matt walked in. Both seemed to be confused, that is, until they saw me. Their eyes widened "Tord..?" Edd was the first to speak

"Yes Edd. It's me" I said "And I'm real as I can ever be" I said and stood up. Tom slowly pushed them into the living room. I chuckled when he did. I opened my arms "Hug?"

I got my answer when Matt almost instantly hugged me. Edd joined to. I laughed and hugged them back "It's great to have you back Tord" Edd said

"Really?" I ask. Edd nodded and pulled away from the hug. Matt squeezed me before pulling away "You still give good hugs Matt" I said

Matt gasped "Really!?" Matt asked his eyes brightening happily. I smiled softly and nodded "Yay!" Matt said throwing his hands up, making us all laugh

When that was over, it went silent. I rubbed my arm and sat down on the couch "So what do we do now?" I ask

Tom walked over and took the spot next to me on the couch "I want to know about your arm" Tom said pointing to my robot arm, which was covered, but he was still curious about how I have an arm now

"Actually, yea" Edd said and sat on the floor in front of Tom

"Wait, I thought he didn't have an arm" Matt said confused

I sighed and rubbed my face "I can tell you, but I'm not really sure if you guys will a hundred percent like it" I said and Matt sat down in front of me, staring at me, waiting for me to start. I sighed "Well, after I woke up a few days after I was let out of the hospital. And I didn't have an arm, I knew it would be hard to go back to normal"

"So I went to the, old house, on foot. And then went to the, um, spot where the robot landed. I found a robot arm on the ground and took it. I then, found my car still in one piece, somehow, then left to get the arm put on my own arm. Tho, I needed to fix it a bit before putting it on. And when I got it on, I had to practice how to use it for a bit" I said

I gulped as I finished speaking. Looking at the guys as they were silently absorbing the info. Tom spoke up "Can we see?" Tom asked

"Uh, the whole thing or just part of it?" I ask

Tom glanced at the two for a few seconds "The whole thing" He said looking back at me

I nodded "Ok" I said then pulled off my hoodie, I had a white tang top underneath, so you can still see the whole arm. I put my hoodie on my lap and pulled off my glove. I moved my arm a bit as the guys stared at it in amazement

Tom poked it "Can you feel anything with this arm?" Tom asked glancing up at me

"No, I feel nothing" I said "I can only feel it move from my shoulder" I said and put my other hand on my shoulder, that was where the robot arm stopped "So yea, I kinda do. But not a lot" I said "But, I do know what my arm is doing since it responds to the actions my brain commands it to" I said

"Oh, so you can move it as much as you want, and you'll only be aware if you make the movement yourself?" Edd asked

"Yea, sorta" I said and moved my fingers "It's kinda complicated to explain" I said

He nodded "I find it looks cool" Matt said and sat up, he grabbed my robot hand and looked at it. He turned it over and looked at the blue circle on the back "What's this for?" Matt asked tapping the circle gently

"Oh, it's a light" I said "I can do a lot with my arm, and one of them is making it turn into a portable light" I said

"Ooo I wanna see!" Matt said excitedly

"I mean, sure" I said
