Anna-Marie had been separated from Jack for a month now. The last thing he told her, haunted her mind.

She cared far too much for Jack, in the few weeks they had spent together, she shouldn't care this much. She felt as though she could not live without Jack Sparrow by her side.
She felt as though they were meant to be.
Jack Sparrow had been sailing the seas, as his 13 year deal with Davy Jones comes to an end, he has to think of a way to spare his life, so that he did not have to join Davy Jones' crew.
When he left Anna-Marie, he promised her he would come back for her, and Jack Sparrow tends to be a man of his word for a scallywag.
