I am not making a casting chapter here, I think we all agree that the tv-series cast is perfect, ok? And I won't repeat the mistake I made in "a twist of fate". This time, only the narrator's pov.

As a narrator, I have told many stories from a vast array of genres. So many love stories that were so sweet and cute that you would squeal. This one is no exception. Or perhaps, it is. This story is about a pair of lovers that I hold very close to my heart. Love that is so pure, so innocent, so sweet that it is impossible for the world to tarnish it. This story begins with two young college students studying at Qing University in Beijing, China. This is the story of Xiao Nai and Bei Weiwei.

Let me start my duty as narrator by introducing the main characters.
Bei Weiwei
Daughter of Bei Zhang. She was raised in the U.S.A and hence she does not understand mandarin. Her mother passed away in childbirth. She also has a full scholarship to Qing University. She is preparing for the HSK exam, a requirement for admission into the university.
Xiao Nai
Son of the head of archeology and the head of history departments of Qing University, he is a genius when it comes to network security and game making. Mess with him and get ready to kiss your computer goodbye. With a full scholarship for computer science based completely on merit, he is the most popular guy on campus. He is the CEO of Zhi Yi tech, a company he started with his dormmates in his junior year and also the main force of the swimming and basketball team.
Cao Guang
He is a sophomore at Qing University, bestowed with the title of 'the gifted scholar of the school of foreign languages' owing to the fact that he comes from a family of diplomats, his fluency in quite a few languages and he is also a basketball player.
Zhao Er'xi
A student at Qing University, she helps Weiwei when she needs it the most. Eventually, she becomes close friends with Weiwei.
Zhen Shaoxing
Heir to ZhenYi tech, a second-generation rich guy.
Xiao Ling
One of Weiwei's best friends and roommates. Her classmate at Qing University.
Yu Banshan
Xiao Nai's close friend and dormmate. His right-hand man at the company.
Hao Mei
Xiao Nai's close friend and dormmate. A hands-down genius at programming.
Tian Sisi
Weiwei's roommate and close friend.
Qiu Yonghou
Xiao Nai's close friend and dormmate. Head of the marketing team at Zhi Yi Tech.
