Weiwei's days were going much smoother than before thanks to her tutor. She recorded her lectures, he helped her translate them to English and she was smart enough to understand them on her own. Her roommates were now her best friends, she couldn't ask for a better group of people to share a dorm with. And just like a sweet and pleasant summer breeze, a month passed away. It had been a month since the semester had started for the first years. It was now time to decide who would be the school belle.

Weiwei's roommates begged her to let them doll her up a bit and post her picture on the forum. Alright, that did not happen, even those three girls knew that it was impossible for Weiwei to agree to it, so they lowered the bar and decided to just ask her to let them post a photo of her. Even that was a straight-up no. Weiwei wanted to spend her college days in peace. Entering a competition like this is definitely not what will lead to peaceful college life. Her roommates were understanding, they accepted her wishes. But not without a week of begging and trying to click a picture of her secretly. In the end, Weiwei threatened them that she will hack their phones. That finally put an end to their constant(ly failing) attempts to post her photograph. They still agreed begrudgingly.

This now brings us to the actual matter at hand. Who posted the photo of a first-year student in the Department of Computer Science, Bei Weiwei, on the forum?

Weiwei did not have many friends. She only interacted with her roommates and her tutor outside of class. Her tutor, Cao Guang had asked her to let him post a picture of her on the school forum but she refused. He agreed without any further discussion. It must be said though, in the past month the tension between Weiwei and Cao Guang had eased up and they could be said to be friends at most.

Weiwei checked her roommates' phones and found nothing. She tried to track the IP address of the person who posted it but the person was too cunning, he(or she) posted it from an internet cafe where dozens of students go every day. She was going crazy from the comments on her photograph. All the people who fawned over her looks, all those who thought she was a slut trying to take away the  'the campus belle'  title away from the girl they liked. All that hate, all those comments about her looks, she lost count of how many guys have said that they wanted to date her online. She was being driven mad.

Her roommates saw this, they tried their best to cheer her up.

"Weiwei, don't mind those blind jerks. They don't know how to appreciate a girl." Er'xi said.

"Weiwei, we know that you are nothing like those haters are saying. " Sisi consoled.

"Weiwei, ignore them. Let's go and have some hotpot shall we?" Xiao Ling suggested.

"Xiao Ling, you know me the best. Let's go out for dinner, my treat." Weiwei cheered up in a jiffy.

The four girls immediately touched up their appearance and went out to have dinner at a local favorite restaurant. While in the taxi, they passed quite a few internet cafés. What they didn't see was a person who could be identified as Weiwei's Chinese tutor.

Hadn't the person who posted Weiwei's photo do it from an internet café?
Weiwei kept a low profile, why would someone go out of their way to sneak a photo of her?
Unless someone was interested in her and wanted to make her his famous girlfriend?
Seems unlikely, right?

(A while later, at the apartment of a certain someone)

Xiao Nai had just dried his hair from the shower, sat in front of his laptop, and checked the campus forum.

"Hmm...the useless 'campus beauty' contest has begun already? Let's see if there's any actually useful information here."

He casually scrolled down searching for some academic-related announcements but, just as he was going to close the forum tab on his browser, a notification popped up.
