Chapter Twenty-Two - Vampires? Seriously?

Start from the beginning

Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is taller than me. I feel like an ant. He let go of my hand and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. I keep getting surprised because I don't expect anything that he does. It was starting to annoy.

"Are you sure this is a woman? She looks like a little girl "

I snapped my head to glare at him. I pushed their King's arm off of me and walked up to the man who called me a little girl. I laughed a little on the inside. I pushed him a little with my index finger and he did stumble back. He was surprised.

"Well, this little girl can kick your ass if you're not careful with your actions," I told him with irritation in my voice.

He looked down and noticed something on me. His eyes widen. He quickly bowed and apologized. I looked down to see that my mark is showing. Someone grabbed my hand and pulled me back.

"Now. Now. There's shouldn't be a fight between a general and the Queen" Their King said

Queen? Who is the Queen? I looked up at him with a confused expression. He apologized and introduced everyone to me and I don't get why because I won't be here long. Then he looked at me with a smile.

"And this will be your Queen"

"What?"

No. HELL to the NO. I ain't going to be some Queen of people that I don't know. I glared at him. Who does he think he is He just can't pick anyone to be his Queen. He can not pick me. I would rather go to hell.

"What is your name?" I asked their King

"Levi, Levi Smit."

"What are you?"

"A vampire"

Great. A Vampire King is trying to make me his wife. He probably only wants me to be his blood bag. I pulled my hand out of his. I could only sigh in aggravation. I pressed the tip of my tongue against my left cheek and slightly rolled my eyes. A sword appeared in my hand. I looked down to see my zodiac mark engraved on it. I slid my fingers across the blade.

I twirled the sword as I looked up at Levi. His men backed up when I twirled the sword. I took a couple of steps back as I kept twirling the sword. I stopped twirling my sword and pointed it at Levi.

"I'm not going to be your Queen. If I were, I would only be food for you. Also, I don't know you"

He stuck his index finger out and slightly pushed the blade of my sword to his right and said, "Libra. That isn't it"

I rolled my eyes. I kept a firm grip on the handle and moved the blade so the tip of it is against his neck. He didn't seem to be scared but he did look disappointed. He took a deep breath and let it out after a couple of seconds. I lowered my sword and stared up at him. To be honest, I have no idea how to kill a vampire. How do I kill one?

"May I experiment with some of your men?" I asked

"Experiment? What kinds?" Levi asked

"Oh. So now you're interested in knowing what I think?"

I chuckled a little after. At this moment, I felt... different. I didn't really like I was myself. Like something had possessed me. Or maybe it's just me grieving because I witnessed my mother's death. That could be it. Levi sighed.

"Go ahead"

I smiled. I scanned the group of me and I couldn't really pick them myself, at least not at this moment. So I asked, "Who wants to volunteer?"

None of them said anything or raised their hands. I sighed and decided to ask another question and it was, "Who doesn't want to live anymore?"

That's when two hands had raised. I smiled. I told them to get in line and they did. I stabbed the first guy in the heart and I waited a minute. Nothing happened. That is scratched off of my list. There were only two of them so if any more of my ideas fail, they will be hurt a bunch of times. Or they don't feel anything. I don't know. I'm not one myself, so I can't say anything.

For the second guy, I swung my sword and cut his head off. That was my solution. Cutting their heads off is the way they can be killed. I smiled and cut the other guy's head off since he did want to die. The men took a couple of steps away from me. My sword disappeared from my hand.

I wiped some of the blood off of my face. I looked up at Levi and his face has been emotionless since I cut off the first guy's head. I could smile at him. I've kind of had a plan. I was figuring it out while chopping off the two vampires' heads. I am trying to get him to hate me so he can release me. He gave me an expression that I didn't really want or neither did I expect. He smiled.

"You'll make the perfect Queen," He said

Are you kidding me!? At this point, I might have to kill him and everyone here.  I was going to yell at him but my zodiac mark started to burn. Well, it felt like it was burning me. I moved my shirt and see there is more flesh being burned or no smell of burning flesh. I put my right hand over my mark and groaned in pain. Then it got worse.

Levi kept asking me questions since he is concerned but I think it's an act. The burning sensation went on for a couple of minutes and then it just stopped. Then I started Plan B. I collapsed on my knees and kept holding onto my mark like it still hurts. I summoned enough swords to cut every vampires' head in this room. Once I did that, a sword appeared in my hand. I pushed Levi and climbed on top of him.

I sat on his stomach as he laid on his back. I put the blade of my sword against his neck. He wasn't scared or angry. He was smiling. He put his cold hand on the left side of my face. I pressed against his neck more to give a warning not to touch me but he kept his hand on my face. Before he could do anything else, I put my blade through his neck.

Once his head was off of his shoulders, I got off of him and didn't even bother to wipe the blood off of me since I have blood all over my clothes again. I walked toward the doors. I let the sword disappear. I opened the doors and I saw my friends standing there. The Zodiacs and the two Demon Princes. I could only smile before I blacked out.
