Y/n runs back to the tribe as fast as he can
On the way he sees people running to the main temple
Sokka seems to be waiting on the bottom of the stairs for y/n
Once he takes notice of y/n, he runs towards him
Sokka:Y/n I was waiting for you! Come on, the others are waiting for us!
Y/n nods his head before they both run inside and sit down
When they do Arnook is speaking
Arnook: The day we have feared for so long has arrived, The Fire Nation is on our doorstep! It is with great sadness that I call upon my family before me, knowing that some of the faces in this room may vanish from our tribe...but they will never vanish from our hearts...
Y/n:Truly dying...is being...forgotten....
Arnook:In this great battle, I call upon the great spirits,of the ocean and moon to be with us! I'm going to need volunteers for a dangerous mission!
Sokka quickly stands up
Sokka:Count me in!
Katara:Sokka...
Arnook:Be warned...many of you will not return...come forward as you will receive my mark...
Multiple people start to walk to the front
As everyone starts to get marked, it eventually gets to Sokka who is last in line
However he hears one more person walk up
Arnook:Eternal Flame...it is an honor for me to bear my mark upon you...but it seems your head is covered...where would you like the mark?
Y/n tilts his head and pulls the bandages on the side of his neck down a bit
Arnook puts his mark on his neck as Sokka turns around
Sokka:Y/n!
Y/n:Hi...Sokka!
Sokka:You don't have to do this y/n...
Y/n:Yes...y/n does! Keep you...safe! Keep everyone...safe!
Sokka:What about Katara and Aang?
Y/n:We fight hard...out there...so we can...come back...to them here...
Sokka smiles as y/n does the same
Sokka:Well let's show The Fire Nation who they're messing with y/n!
Arnook leads all of the marked to the front gate
Katara and Aang follow behind them all
They watch quietly for a bit
Aang:Fireball incoming!
Y/n runs out front and takes the fire off the fireball but the rock still hits the gate
Y/n:Minimal damage...
Many more fireballs are shot at them
Y/n stops as many as he can but a few get by and enter the tribe's walls
Aang:I'm going to stop them!
Arnook:Sokka,y/n,come with me! We need to explain the mission now!
Y/n goes up to Katara
Y/n:Stay safe...tell Aang too...please...
Katara smiles
Katara:No problem y/n...
