The day starts as any normal day

Everyone is finally catching up on missed sleep in a canyon

Y/n is doing what he usually does and draws in his notebook or practices his water bending movements in silence

However, Aang breaks the silence by getting up and shouting

Aang:Can you guys believe it! After all this time looking for an earthbending teacher I finally get to learn! And we are in the perfect spot!

Sokka wakes up and grumbles to himself

Aang:I forgot that you may need some extra sleep...

Y/n laughs a bit

He takes a knee next to Sokka

Y/n:Y/n will warm...you up...get good sleep...

Sokka:Thank you Y/n...

Toph earthbends her own earth tent out of the way and shouts as well

Toph:Good morning earth bending student!

Sokka:Can you be quiet?

Toph:Oh,sorry snoozles we'll be as quiet as we can...

She launches Sokka into the air

Y/n catches him on the way down

Y/n:Is Sokka...okay?

Sokka:I'll just lay down somewhere else...

Y/n gently places him down

He doesn't bother getting out of his sleeping bag as he just hops away

Toph:Let's start by moving a rock...nothing crazy...

Y/n:Y/n can move rock!

Toph:With earthbending...

Y/n:Oh...

She gets two rocks ready, one for herself and one for Aang and a third one

Y/n:Three rocks?

Toph:Who do you think the third one is for you baby?

Y/n:Extra for you..and Aang?

Toph:No,just...push it around or something I don't really care...

Y/n:Okay!

He starts to roll the rocks around

Toph turns back to Aang

Toph:The key to earthbending is your stance...you've gotta be steady and strong...rock is a stubborn element so you've got to be like a rock yourself...

Katara walks up

Y/n:Get enough sleep?

Katara:I think I'll be fine, I bet Sokka wishes he could say the same...

Y/n:People angry...when not getting enough sleep...Azula perfect example...

Katara:Umm...why are you pushing that rock around?

Y/n:Toph gave me it...so he work on...physical strength...

Toph:Yea he seemed pretty bummed out when I said he couldn't earthbend so I made him that one...

Aang:Well I can't seem to earthbend either...but what if I came at it at a different angle?

Toph:No,that's the problem you're thinking like an airbender but there isn't some special trick...

Y/n stops rolling the rock and walks over to them a bit nervous

Y/n:Umm...can y/n say something? May help Aang...
