 "Cassian!"

Birds flocked at the sound of Eris Krennic's scream—watching as Cassian plummeted into the water below. Eris threw herself on the edge of the cliff, watching in horror. "Cassian?" She screams into the ocean again, frantically eyeing the water for any sight of him. She swallows hard, pushing herself away from the edge. She's panicking—she can't swim. Can Cassian even swim? The question sticks to Eris' mind as she pushes her hair out of her face, hastily tucking it behind her ears. Rain begins to pour over her, heavily. She's ten feet from the edge—she runs. Eris sprints, jumping off the ledge—arms flailing as she plunged into the thrashing waters. Eris is immobile for a moment in the frigid water—her limbs are tight and stiff. Burning salt stings her nostrils and eyes, pouring into her throat. She breaks the surface for air, coughing harshly. Her lungs burn, and her chest is heavy. Her limbs hurt as she struggles to stay above the water. "Cassian!" Eris struggles out, frantic.
