Without looking where you were going, you stepped to the side and reached to open one of the doors, accidentally knocking into someone walking up beside you.

"HEY, WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING, DUMBASS!"

You looked up to see a spiky blonde-haired boy staring at you, anger showing clearly on his face.

Did he just call me a dumbass?

You lifted yourself up and glared. "Actually, I seem to recall that you walked into me"

"What did you say?!"

"It's obvious that I'm the one in the doorway, and you're not. So, that means you bumped into me. Maybe you should watch where you're going, asshole"

The boy seemed ready to explode, but you ignored his shouts and turned your attention to the sound of footsteps coming from behind you.

"Oh! Are you ok?"

It took a moment to process the girls words, as your mind was busy taking in her appearance.

She had black hair, done in a high-ponytail of sorts, and some of the prettiest eyes you had ever seen, and her legs....wow.

This woman right here is ethereal.

With a smile, she reached out her hand. "I saw Bakugou bump into you, you aren't hurt, right?"

"That airhead bumped into me!"

You took her hand and she pulled you up, the boy she called Bakugou had stood up as well, and his gaze shot daggers toward you.

Ignoring him, you looked up at the girl "thanks."

She let go of your hand "of course! Are you from another class? I haven't seen you before."

Just as you were about to respond, a voice came from behind you. "Yaoyorozu, take your seat, you'll know who she is in a moment."

You turned around and saw Aizawa standing behind you.

"Oh good, I thought you were gonna miss class, you were still sleeping when I left." You stated.

Aizawa sighed, looking as though he'd rolled out of bed and come straight here. "The way you worded that did not sound right, but yes, I try and sleep until the last possible minute."

"Understandable." You went to step inside but he placed a hand on your shoulder.

"It's unusual for a student to be accepted so late in the year, the staff and I have come up with a reason behind your joining, so go along with it, alright?"

Right, it had slipped your mind that you weren't supposed to reveal too much about yourself to the class.

You walked into the classroom, and felt the eyes of the other students staring.

Aizawa informed them of your name, and as he seemed to have expected, a boy raised his hand immediately.

"We are nearing the end of the term, how is it possible that we are introducing a new student at this point in time?"

Aizawa nodded, "she recently moved to the city and was accepted here based on stellar recommendations. Obviously, this isn't something we normally do but we made an exception."

Everyone seemed to study you and Aizawa motioned for you to speak.

"Oh, right. Nice to meet you guys."

The boy who'd asked the question raised his hand once again. "As class rep, I feel as though it is my duty to be informed of my peers. If it isn't any trouble, can you tell us of your quirk and any other facts about yourself that could be deemed useful?"

It was so tempting to tell them of your quirk, to make them see exactly why you deserved to be here along with everyone else, but you refrained.

"I have a speed quirk, I know it sounds pretty boring but there's a variety of moves and techniques that I've learned that prove to be pretty useful in combat situations."

He nodded. "I have no doubt that you will be a welcome addition to the class."

Most of the students nodded in acknowledgement, and you turned back to Aizawa. "Cool, so where can I sit?"

A short kid with oddly shaped purple balls on his head caught your attention "here! here! there's an empty seat by me you can sit there!"

He seemed weird, but you didn't see a reason to deny.

Just as you began walking towards the empty seat another voice shouted "Wait, there's a seat here too!"

This time the voice came from a boy with blonde hair with a dark shape that resembled a lightning bolt.

He definitely was cuter than option one.

From further behind, the girl from earlier spoke."Oh my gosh, no, you perverts. Here, come sit by me. There's an empty seat to my right."

Anddd that is definitely the seat I want.

The boys slumped back into their chairs and you made your way to where Yaoyorozu was sitting.

"Tch of course" you heard someone grumble as you placed your things down.

Looking to your right you saw Bakugou sitting with his feet propped on his desk.

Lovely, you hadn't thought to look around before picking a seat. Of course, there was a catch to sitting here.

Without facing him, you spoke."Bakugou, was it? Looks like you're lucky enough to have a clear view of me for the rest of the year."

"Quit talking, you're already getting on my nerves."

Oh, this one was gonna be fun.

A small smirk crept over your lips and you spoke while organizing the materials on your desk. "You know, when I was younger I heard that when a boy is mean to a girl, it usually means that they like them."

Pausing what you were doing, you glanced over "I know I'm pretty irresistible, but we've only known each other for seven minutes. At least try to exercise some restraint."

His eyes narrowed and you saw one of his fists clenched under the desk. "Watch yourself, newbie. Like you said, it's only been seven minutes and i'm ready to kick your ass, see how your talk holds up in a real fight."

"Right, keep that same energy when I have your ass pinned down in front of the entire school. I'm already looking forward to seeing your face after this newbie takes you out in a few seconds flat."

He let out a growl, seeming ready to send out another threat, but before he could respond, Aizawa began his teaching.

After a few minutes, you felt someone nudge your left side. Looking up, you noticed Yaoyorozu had leaned in. "I know you don't know us too well, but you seem super cool. wanna sit with me and some other girls at lunch?"

You smiled, "sure."

Look at that, years of being unable to go to school or interact with people outside of training classes, and you'd already managed to make somewhat of a friend.

Maybe, everything really could be fine. You could just settle in and try and forget everything that had gone wrong in your life. Suppressing those feelings seemed to be working pretty well so far, it wouldn't be too hard to continue like this.

You tried to feel confident in those thoughts, but deep down, you knew it was all wishful thinking.

And they have met! And they hate each other! Also, I know this is a Bakuogu fic but Momo is so hot and so underrated I had to give her a role. New chapter will be up soon!
