Chapter 26 [First mistake]

Start from the beginning

I saw as her faced turned into the one as if she has seen a ghost. "No, no, we will not go there. I have heard that there are crabs in the sand." Her voice faltered as she paled. I laughed as I saw her panicking.

"Don't panick, we won't go there. How about Manhattan? " I mused as I patted her shoulder smoothly.

"I'm always ready for that. Let's go. Oh, what about Samantha Clinton? I haven't met her yet. Is she even coming?" She said while grinning ear to ear. She pouted sadly while squinting her eyebrows.

"She is in the room, I sleep." I spoke caustically as I exhaled tiredly. I got startled as she suddenly jumped on me and hugged me like a maniac. My body went stiff at the contact but relaxed a little later and I reciprocated the gesture.

"I'm going to head out and meet her. Com'on, you also come." She chortled while she literally ran after kissing my cheek in sweet gesture. I shook my head as I followed after her slowly to his room.

My eyebrows actually reached high as I saw Sam all ready to go out, in front of mirror, checking her purse and after a thorough search bringing out her royal perfume. This was a sight to capture. She has never been this fast in getting ready.

Mia knocked hesitantly as she crossed the door line and entered the room. Sam turned her head just a little upwards to see in the mirror, who just knocked. She turned completely as she saw an unrecognized face.

"You must be Mia!" She exclaimed while keeping her bottle back and walking towards us.

I looked in my right and leaned on the door frame, crossing my legs a little. I saw as Mia's eyes gleamed with happiness and amazement. She bit her lip as she blushed.

"You know me already?" It looked like from her expressions that she couldn't help but ask the question which she just asked.

"Yep, Cait already mentioned you. Come inside and let's talk." She beamed as she took mine and Mia's hand and dragged us inside. Thank god, I did not trip. Mia nodded her head as she followed Samantha like a lost puppy

"Are we all ready to go? I mean, are we really going? If brother comes  to know, he will be so angry. I don't want to face his wrath." Mia cautioned as she shuddered.

"Nothing will happen, Mia. I'm here to make sure of it. We are just going out to have some fun. It's not like we are going to rob his bank. If he has a problem with this then he can go and shove it up his ass. We shouldn't care." I reassured whatever came into my mouth that time without thinking once.

I realized my words when I saw Mia's mouth hung open and her eyes widened. I frantically shook my head.

"Forgive my language, please. I'm going to get ready." I mumbled while trotting to washroom.

"I understand." Mia spoke still in a daze.

"You aren't ready till yet? You were lecturing me about time value and here look......." She trailed off while smirking devilishly.

"Shut up, I will be back in no time." I spoke in annoyance as I blocked her voice out of my ears. Ignoring her totally.

I turned my face to see that they both had already started chatting. Time to get ready. I hope, Sam treats Mia well.
