Sequin-silver stars like the glowing embers of a dying fire winked down at the crowd, illuminating the atramentous curtain of sky, and then suddenly the clouds parted, photographers found themselves looking at a lustrous, argent disc casting brilliant rays of moonlight onto the red carpet
The ground was lined with red carpet from the entrance to the door of the building, locked off by golden rails that separated the public from the drop-off of the cars
The entire section was lit, sky lights lined the sky to mark its direction for those who were attending. The crowd screamed on the top of their lungs while they tried to break through the barricade guarded by security guards. Police patrolled and had locked off many roads to make room for the arrival of the rest of the set but little did they know how the girl's were actually arriving
Photographers snapped their photos, bright white flashes blinded those from afar but the celebrities walking the red carpet had been such accustomed to it. They flashed their million dollar smiles and turned in an angle to show off their perfect side features
The crowd went even wild when another car stopped at the entrance, the white Cadillac door flung open and a smooth leg touched the red carpet with their black heels
May winked at her screaming fans as she made her way out of the car, her shimmering black dress exposed her cleavage and draped down her shoulder. Her straight hair was pulled into a high pony, her silver earrings dangling low, matching the icy Rolex on her wrist
"MAY! OVER HERE" random photographers screamed, ready to get the first full body shot of the director
"CAN WE ASK YOU SOME QUESTIONS?"
"Ofcourse darling, go ahead"
"What was it like working with Autumn Hester on the film?"
"It was... Interesting but we all know I've worked many times with Ms Hester on different movies"
"How long did it take to complete?"
"Our filming time was set to a year but with the chemistry and a little push between the head stars, we managed to finish it all in a little less than 8 months, my shortest so far"
"What was the most challenging part?"
"The beginning was hard. When two actors meet for the first time, there's still an emptiness. They need to go at it until they hopefully find that chemistry. Luckily for us, they had chemistry on the first day but things still weren't flowing the way they should. After a while though, it all came together really fast and they both went through scripts like animals, I was... Very impressed, especially with our undiscovered and talented Kate Wilson. She impressed me very much and I'm happy to say that I'll be working with her again in the future so look out for that" May smiled
"Who are these?" Someone asked before nodded in the direction of her car
Ethan and Jamie both stepped out of May's Cadillac, looking like two deers in headlights. Their eyes lit up with amazement as they scanned every inch of their environment, the bright lights and flashes cameras brought a wide smile on their lips. Jamie tugged the bottom of her bright yellow dress to reveal her black stilettos. Her curly hair looked silky black and matched Ethan's slick black suit that fit his body tightly. The boy adjusted his white collar and fixed his cufflings before stepping onto the red carpet with his phone held high in the air
"MAMA I MADE IT! YOU TOLD ME I WOULDN'T BE ANYTHING! BUT LOOK! I MADE IT!"
"You... Do realize your mom is dead right?" Jamie asked
"Yes. Your point is?"
"Nothing. Nothing at all" She snickered
"Ah, these two are my closest friends. You'll be seeing alot more of them, especially little Ethan over here who just landed a role in our next film that's being released next year. You can also look forward to that" May winked
"You bitch! You didn't tell me you landed a role! Especially with MAY HILLS"
"Shhh, my agent advised me not to say anything until the trailers are released" Ethan chuckled
"I guess Jamie didn't tell you about her big news either huh?" May chuckled
"Wha- WHAT BIG NEWS"
"Jamie over here just signed onto Jauregui industry. She has a feature on Aelia's track and a few producers are looking into booking her" May smiled
".....YOU BEEN KEEPING THIS FROM ME" Ethan yelled, the dark skinned girl chuckled and shrugged
"What can I say, my agent told me not to tell anyone" Jamie winked
"Ass"
"Ms Hills! When are your leads making their appearance?"
And right on cue, ofcourse, a powerful gush of wind tossed its way around the main entrance followed by a faint noise in the air, everyone furrowed their brows before tilting their heads to the sky
"Well, if my calculation are correct. I think they just arrived" May chuckled
The helicopter's matte black paint was enveloped in a cloud of sandy dust. The blades that beat the air had much the same effect as a small tornado on the loose ground cover. As it came lower everyone covered their ears, held their breath and closed their eyes until they heard the slowing of the blades. There was a handmade helipad that were surrounded by skylights that torched the sky, the blades slowly faded as the base touched the pads
The crowd flowed down the wide avenue the same way the Thames always meets its banks. The mood of the people swirled in unseen currents beneath the dark surface of their faces. In a thousand strong men there wasn't a single smile or expression of doubt. The only sound was their feet on the aging tarmac and the howl of the wind rising above them. Every one of them must have been feeling the first bite of wind through their clothes and boots. Ahead could be heard the blades of helicopters taking to the air with their idol onboard and their screams filled the entire avenue
The door of the machine slid open and the cheering of Autumn's name became even louder. Red heels pressed flat against the pad, followed by smooth and toned legs. Kate's red dress glittered like diamonds under the lights and flashes of cameras,
Her wavy brown hair slowed with the gushing wind passing by as she flipped it over her shoulder, her red lipstick left an imprint on those who newly discovered her
Kate smile reached her ear, but who's wouldn't? It was her dream that she was living in. Since she was just 8, Kate found herself in her room when screams echoed through her living room, posters lines her pale and torn walls with adults in slick suits and silky hair, their eyes piercing into yours yet it was just on paper. Their rosy cheeks and bright smiles gave her hope to follow her dreams as a young actress, imagining those bright flashes and chants of people screaming her name brought smile to her face when she was young
If only her younger self could see her now, she'd be impressed and smile to know that it does get better. We just need to hold on
Autumn stepped out of the helicopter with her hands clasped around the tip of a champagne bottle. Her smirk filled her face as she vigorously shook the liquid, wanting the pressure to build to the top where her fingers were so they could squirt from the tiny hole-
Oh- oh my
"MY GIRL'S FAMOUS BITCHES" Autumn screamed as she allowed the foamy liquid to squirt out with a gush that flowed all over the red carpet, spilling on those around them
"HEY" Someone screamed
"Sorry" Autumn chuckled
Immediately all flashes from photographs stopped, all were stunned in their place along with those in the crowd nearby with what they had just heard. Their eyes went wide awake as everyone turned to face Autumn
The raven hair girl raised her brow at the people as she slowly faded and stood behind her girlfriend despite her being taller than the brunette
"Did... Did Autumn Hester just say she was SORRY!?"
