Blossom's POV
I woke up to the plain grey hospital walls, I felt a dread in my stomach as I woke up fully I hated being in here, it made me feel uneasy But when I turned over, I saw Sin lying next to me, holding me close to his chest as he slept soundly.
He was practically hanging off the bed, he was so big, but I didn't care, I just snuggled into him, cherishing these little moments we got of peace I didn't know how to feel about Sin right now He kept dodging questions about the attacks, about how the rogues got in and who the woman that hurt me was.
He'd just willed me to get some rest But it kept consuming my head, the lies... what he was keeping from me I gave him the chance yesterday, I know I had kept things from him but I thought now we could be open with one another.
I really did truly love him, not all mates got to have such an easy ride. I remember my mother ignored my father for months, adamant that she didn't need a mate and that the whole thing was stupid That your life shouldn't be dictated by a moon goddess and her say so.
But then she eventually fell in love with dad, and they spent so many happy years together, before having a family.
I wanted it all with Sin, I wanted a family, I wanted marriage, I even felt a little more confident about being a Luna I was still panicking about being a queen, ruling over all of werewolf kind... but I was slowly getting there.
And all because he reassures me, and supports me So why was he still keeping things from me? I sat up slowly, slipping out of the bed so I didn't wake him He needed the extra sleep, after fighting off rogues and staying awake with me most of the night.
I slipped out of the room altogether, heading back to the house to get some fresh clothes When I approached the house, there were guards surrounding the entire perimeter "Blossom" Tyler called, grabbing my attention "What's going on?" I asked as he jogged over to me.
"Sin's posted guards everywhere, the patio isn't fixed yet and he doesn't want anyone else getting near you" he said, I nodded "Can I go in?" I asked hesitantly, he nodded, so I quickly rushed up to get changed.
