I was sitting in the Bank's kitchen tutoring Ashley and her friend Kevin as Will was dancing around making a sandwich
"Wow, your cousin even makes sandwiches cool." Kevin said in amazement as we watched Will
"Yeah, he's the coolest. Except when he wears his shower cap and runs through the sprinklers." Ashley smiled
"Cool must have a different from when I was your age" I pondered
"But you're cooler" she turned to me smiling
"I know" I said wrapping my arms around her kissing her check as she scrunched her nose
"Children, I have a special surprise. Cookies in the shapes of your favorite cartoon characters." Geoffrey said putting the cookies down on the table
"Geoffrey, I really don't think Kevin and I would like--" Ashley started but was cut off by Will walking up to us
"Whoa, ho-ho-ho! Check it out. Elmer Fudd, and he got little Chiclet teeth. Yo, that's fly, G." Will smiled sitting next to me
"Yeah, that's fly." Kevin mimicked
"Thank you. It's good to know those four years at Oxford didn't go to waste." Geoffrey
"Hey, so, Ashley, what's you and Kev getting into this weekend?" Will asked as I ate a cookie
"The same thing as every weekend. Pizza and dad's
renting a video. This week, it's "The Muppets Take
Manhattan." Ashley said as I snickered, as she turned to me and gave me a death glare
"That's not funny" I depanned shaking my head when Mrs. Banks walked into the kitchen smiling at Kevin and Ashley
"What?" Ashley questioned
"You look cute. Oh, you both look cute. Aren't they just the cutest little couple?" Mrs. Banks asked hugging them both so tight
"Yeah. Check it out. Little bluebirds flying around their heads." Will teased
"Well, how about a refill on those milks?" Mrs. Banks asked taking their glasses
"Thank you, Mrs. Banks." Kevin thanked her as she walked to the fridge when Carlton and Hilary walked into the kitchen
"Hilary, as a loyal Republican and a staunch bush man I'm warning you, don't do this." Carlton told Hilary
"Oh, come on, Carlton, you're not a bush man. You're more like a pygmy." Will teased as I laughed
"Will, I'm trying to keep Hilary from embarrassing all of us in front of the whole Republican Party." Carlton explained
"Hilary, are you joining the Republican Party?" I asked walking up to her
"No, I'm going to it. Arnold Schwarzenegger's having a pool party. I can't decide if I got the right suit." Hilary said pulling out a two piece
"Oh, darn. Now Arnold's going to have to return his." Will said walking to the fridge
"I kind of like it." Mrs. Banks said looking at it
"That's really cute, can I burrow it" I asked her when my grandfather and Mr. Banks walked in
"I do, too. That's a good-looking hat." Mr. Banks said
"It's Hilary's new bathing suit." Mrs. Banks told him
"That I'm stealing from her closet tonight" I spoke to them
"When fish ride bicycles." Mr. Banks and my grandfather said in unison as Hilary and I rolled our eyes
