[Chapter 38] "Anticlimactic"

(????) - "Tiamat, where are you, you little devil! Hikari is going to kill me!"

The dragon stops and runs over to the voice, where a loud chomping sound can be heard.

(????) - "OW, that hurts you little brat!"

Still scarred from the darkness dragon, the heroes go outside to see the voice source to feel only despair. That tiny dragon that almost killed all of them were hanging off of a dragon 100x the size of themselves.

(Classmate) - "Ha, hahaha, HAHAHAHA, we're fucked!"

*Alderam P.O.V.*

I will always wonder how this kid manages to hurt me at level one. I am already starting to look like I have some serious battle scars just from this kid's teeth.

Even if I try to scold him, he just fakes his sadness to get me in trouble with Hikari. To be frank, the being that the world should be fearing is Hikari, the 'dragon god of light'. Who would've thought that she is a tsundere/yandere freak of nature?

Apparently, there are even religions surrounding her as some sort of goddess. I wonder what they would think if they actually met her.

As I look back at the devil that is my child, I see some blood dripping out of his mouth.

(Alderam) - "What the hell did you eat while I was searching for you?"

I then get an itch on my leg and see that it was actually a 'tiny' (for my standards) fireball. My eyes then meet some humans that have horrified looks on their faces.

(Tiamat) - "*Grrrr*"

Tiamat falls off of me and gives a hateful look at the humans. Slowly expanding his stomach, I can guess what he is about to do.

Does this kid actually care about me? I always thought he hated me due to his little annoying biting habit.

(Tiamat) - "[Fire Brea-]"

Before he can do anything, I tell him in a normal, commanding voice.

(Alderam) - "Tiamat,  no."

With those words alone, Tiamat turns around and looks at me with confusion.

I wonder what's going on inside this little guy's head.

*Tiamat P.O.V.*

Animal. Hurt. Daddy. 

Only. I. And. Mommy. Hurt. Daddy.

Me. Hate. Animal!

I. Protec. I. Attac.

*Alderam P.O.V.*

Putting those thoughts aside, I stare at the humans before they all take a few steps back in panic. The one who fired the spell at me seems to be a little girl with mediocre magic ability.
