Nicholas pov

So my mom has made it her life mission to make sure I don't see her.
I know she was here last night but when I ran in only Freya was left standing there with a look of pity on her face.
I don't need pity I need a mom.

So I got up today and use a spell to try and find her.
She was gonna talk to me one way or another.

I find her and see she's talking to some guy.
"Mom" I call and they both look at me.
"Nicholas what are you doing here?" She asked

"I'm looking for you" I said.

The guy looks between us.
"So this is your son?" He asked and my mom nodded, "who's he?" I ask her.
"Nicholas that's not important, what is is the fact that your here when you shouldn't be so go home"

"No" I shake my head and she looks away from me.
"Mom dad is missing and I'm scared" I tell her.
"And I will find him, now go home before I have Freya keep you there with a spell" she told me and went around me, the guy leaving with her.

I shake my head and fold my arms.
This is going no where.

I get home and go to my room.
I sigh and lean against it.
"Tough day?" I hear and turn to see shaylynn.
"What are you doing here?" I ask and she smiles at me and hug me.
"I felt that you might've need me" she told me and pull away from me.

I smile at her.
"Or did you just not want to be in school?" I ask and she nods.
"So what I mean it's not like I go when your there"

I shake my head and hear yells.
"Stay here" I tell her and she nod.
I walk out and see my mom and klaus.
"What did you two do?" She ask
As I stand next to Hope.

"Nothing" I lie.
"Nicholas and hope what did you two do to your dad and mom?" Klaus asked.
"We just used a nice little sleeping spell" Hope said

"And they are protected as I preformed the spell" I add.
"Oh well in that case we couldn't be PROUDER!" He yelled at us.

"Look we known it would take something big for you both to come back to New Orleans" I explained,

"We LEFT TO PROTECT YOU TWO!" Mom yelled at us.
"Well you never called" I say.
"Because cards and phone calls wasn't enough for you two" klaus said as he tried to leave out the door but couldn't.

"Oh we're sorry we didn't know to knock before coming" I say sarcastically.
"Yea so sad we stopped your murdering party" Hope said.

"You know it sucks because we always have to act like good ole Nicholas Cullen and Hope Marshall when really we just want to scream" I say

"WELL WELCOME TO THE BLOODY PARTY!" Klaus yelled.
I shake my head.
"I guess after all of this we were bond to leave you two broken" mom said and I froze and feel a tear go down my face and I feel Hope grab my hand.
"You think we're broken?" Hope asked.
"Wait hope" klaus said but she shakes her head.
"I think it's time for you two to leave"

"Like always" I add.

"I will make sure to tell Hayley and jasper to go easy on you two" mom said and they left.

Time skip

I was sitting in the living room with hope.
We haven't said anything to each other.

"Nicholas, Hope" we hear and see my mom and klaus.
"What?" I ask

"They weren't there" she said and I stand up and shake my head "no they have to be" I say

"Whatever happens didn't happen without a fight" klaus said and I start choking and Hope holds my hand
"Nicholas what's wrong?" Hope ask

I couldn't answer.
Soon a snake came up and I cry a little.
"You have to go" Hope basically yelled at them.

"Nicholas I promise we will find them" klaus said

"I love you hope" he said and left
"I love you son" my said and left to.

Time skip

We were going back to school.

We heard screaming and run to see what's wrong and see Henry hanging there dead.

I hold hope to me as I feel guilty.
