"If you don't mind, I would like to speak to Annabel alone please." I looked and saw Elijah speaking.
"Do if you want, I have something to do, and Annabel I will be talking to you when I get back." Klaus smirked at me and left.
"Yes Elijah."
"You shouldn't help Klaus."
"Who are you to tell me what to do?" Why would he care?
"Look I understand your hurt an.."
I cut him off, "No! I am not hurt ok, and even if I was you wouldn't understand. You don't know what its like for someone to love you, forget you, remember, then hate you!" Honestly I was hurt very badly but I wasn't going to admit that to Elijah.
"OK even if you aren't hurt you still shouldn't work with Klaus."
"And why is that?."
"When you were in love with Klaus you were oblivious to what he really was. He was and still is dangerous, I don't want you to get hurt, you are always like a sister to me." I saw the care in his eyes.
"I wasn't stupid, I knew what he was but I cared for him too much, I tried to make him stop his ways, and if you remember correctly he stop his "evil doing" for a while, and if he is so bad why are you helping him."
"He is family and as much as I hate seeing the things he does I can't get him to change his mind."
"I see you believe in if you can't beat them join them?" I asked sarcastically.
"It's not like that at all. Besides you know Klaus could dagger me again if I don't help him."
"Yea some family." I muttered
Elijah sighed, "Anabel you know I care for you as my sister, that means that I can't see you caught helping Klaus willingly"
"You don't know me. I have made up my mind."
"Annabel you left me no choice, if you help Klaus I will tell him about you and what really happened."
"He won't believe you!" I said stubbornly.
"Are you willing to take that risk?" He asked.
"Yes! In fact I'll do you one better, I will tell him myself" Elijah looked skeptical.
Some of you must be wondering how Elijah knows how I can compel vampires without knowing who I really am. Simple thing, I compelled him to never ask how or why and to never question it. I know it's still slightly dangerous to have an original know that I can compel people but I trusted Elijah, and since I asked him not to tell anyone no one had to ask him how, to trigger that thought.
"Why would you do that just to help Klaus, better yet don't you think he won't trust you once he finds out?"
"Well how do you know I won't compel you to not tell him."
"Because no matter what I say I wouldn't stoop that low." He said faintly.
"Oh Elijah." I went to give him a hug. He seemed to have been taken by surprise but he ended up hugging me back.
"Look Elijah I know you care about me like a sister but I need to do my own thing right now. Yes I know working with Klaus isn't smart but I just need to figure things out and figure out myself."
"So you are willing to risk yourself and others for your stupidity." He said angrily.
I got mad, "I don't care. I don't care anymore."
"Fine go with Klaus see if I care. Don't come running to me when you are in over your head." He said and walked out.
I don't care anymore. Like I said I am not going to have fate or anyone control my life. I may have been created but its now my turn to take control.
HOURS LATER!!!!!
I was still in Klaus's and Elijah's house when I heard the door open. I kinda hoped it wasn't Elijah cause I didn't want to face him.
"Ah love you're still here."
Thank god it's Klaus.
"Ugh yea. I was serious I wanted to help you."
He had a smirk on his face, "Is that so?"
"Yes."
"We'll I have the perfect job for you love
