For starters, this is a modern AU. Set in just the overall now-ish era, without Covid, politics, or Voldemort. Everyone has phones and computers, and the muggle world is a lot closer to the wizarding world with the introduction of technology.
I have a lot of OCs, because I put my main character in Hufflepuff and it's hard to find canon characters other than the obvious Cedric, who never died because no Voldemort. Also, as far as I've written there isn't any real sign of the golden trio since this mainly revolves around the years above them- but they might make an appearence later.
Lastly, this is a mature, honest story. So there's going to be underage drug use, drinking, reference to sex, cursing, lewd conversation, etc. Please keep this in mind whilst proceeding. Fair warning for allusion to anxiety attacks, depression, slightly toxic relationships and crass conversation about it.
The rights to the canon characters belong to JK Rowling., but I hate her & don't align with anything she's said/done in any way. All the OC's are mine.
