"Coffee?" Alok ko kay Yvan dahil maaga ito. Nakatapat nanaman siya sa newspaper niya, tuwing umaga gan'yan iyan, nakaugalian niya na ata.

"Yes, oh gosh thanks."

Nilapag ko ang hawak kong kape, akin dapat 'yon but gusto niya pala so she can have it.

Habang inaayos ko ang papel niya sa mesa nakita kong sumisimsim ito at bigla nalang napaso nang mapatingin siya samay pinto. As if she saw a ghost.

"Good morning." I heard a familiar lazy voice from behind. It's Freya Cardova. Wow, too early to be here, parang tamad na tamad ito kung magsalita, at wala ring meeting schedule kung magpunta rito.

"I have to talk to you girl." She smirks at Rue, nang makita ako ay ngumiti ito saka binati ako. I also greeted her before excusing myself dahil mag-uusap daw sila. At least she's polite enough to earn my smile.

Though, sinabi niya na rin 'yon last time at mukang hindi naman sila nag-usap. Napailing nalang ako and just focus on my work.

Welp — I'm so out of focus. I bit my lower lip at tinawagan si Mom, sinabi niya kanina via email na tawagan ko siya, siguro she sent that while at work kaya napasunod nalang ako, baka magtampo pa at wala akong makain dito sa Pinas, sapat lang ang sweldo ko, eh. 

"At the end of the month resign!" Ang aga-aga ang init ng ulo, she wants me to resign, eh, wala pa nga akong one year, kaya palipat lipat ako ng trabaho, halos walong buwan lang ang naitatagal ko sa isang firm kadalasan but it's good, I've learn alot.

"Mom I can't."

"What do you mean you can't? Your Dad is asking you to come home why don't you want to come home?!"

Yeah my father called me and he wants me back asap, apologizing to me and all, umuwi na raw ako. I'm his favorite daughter. His anger just blinded him so he lets me go out of the country, no support, no anything. Now he wants me to go back, if I hadn't met this beautiful creature I would go back in a snap but...

Hindi ko alam kung paano sasabihin kay Rue.

Another thing, I don't want to see Eunice because I know I would also go back to her as simple as that.

"Resign Olie before Dad gets mad again, I don't want Dad mad at you, I miss you." I heard my little sister said. My mom scold her for not calling me Ate — honorifics in PH is very important at na-adapt na ni Mommy iyon.

"I know I miss you too, I will be there this holiday."

"Be here on holiday, resigned. Hindi ko ata naririnig ang boss mong mainitin ang ulo?"

I laughed, Rue's at her wrong side, kasi naman sa dami ng maririnig ni mommy bakit iyong nagsungit pa siya?

"May kausap sa office." Napatingin ako sa orasan, well fifteen minutes niya ng kausap. Quickies. My brows furrowed by the thought, I think I couldn't stand —

"Eunice dropped by my school to talk to me."

Napaayos ako ng upo, hinihintay ang susunod na sasabihin ni Lia, she's in a hush voice kaya wala siguro si mom sa tabi niya. My heart did its loud banging. Eunice came by...fuck.

"Looking for you, I said you're out of the town. She just nods and hoped you're doing well, what really happened? You guys were still happy last time, you even kissed her."
