"So who are you gonna tell first?" Dream asked as the first rays of sunlight beamed through the window. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, his arms over his head in a stretch.
George looked up from his suitcase. "Um, no one." He went back to absently shuffling through his clothes.
"George." Clay groaned. "You're just gonna do the same shit again if you keep hiding."
"We just started dating again!" He protested feebly. To escape the conversation, he ducked into the bathroom and locked the door behind him, leaving Dream visibly upset.
It was the same thing again. So many times he had asked if they could just tell Sapnap, their best friend of all people, and George avidly denied it. The signs had been oh so present, but the blond had been blinder than George's color blindness.
George finally rejoined him, gaze darting from his boyfriend and to the door. Clay challenged him to make the correct decision mentally, a little surprised when George came to sit beside him.
"We're going to tell them." Dream murmured. "I don't feel comfortable with lying to our friends for the last three years of our lives."
George's eyes dipped down to the blond's neck, a look of panic flickering over his face. "Yea- yea I, I don't know how we were gonna explain the-"
"George," he hummed it sort of suavely, sort of a chill manner. "Did you give me a hickey?"
George cupped his face in embarrassment. "'m sorry."
"That's one way to tell them, I guess!" Dream laughed. To say he was mad would be a lie- it seemed George dug his own grave metaphorically. "I bet Sapnap will notice first."
"You don't have concealer or anything?" George asked horrified. "They- oh my god. This is terrible."
"It'll be fun!" He grabbed George by the wrist and pulled him out the door and down the stairs, just as George started begging for mercy quietly. "Say, who do you think will notice first?"
The brunette sighed. "I don't know. Zak."
Clay nodded in thought. "Nice guess, but I'm totally right." He let go of George's hand and went down the final few steps, swinging around the corner and crossing the living room in a few strides.
Those strides were all it took for the quizzical stares to land on the red mark. However, both the boys bets weren't exactly spot on, as Sapnap and Skeppy weren't the first ones to notice.
"That better not be what I think it is," Bad gasped. He set down the fruit he was holding and strained his eyes, just as Nick finally figured it out.
"Dream, is that a HICKEY?!" He yelled, meeting Dream's side to get a better look. "You're in so much trouble, little boy," he scolded like an overprotective mother.
"Perhaps," the blond shrugged in response, knowing damn well George was still mentally prepping himself on the stairs for the onslaught of questions.
Skeppy giggled with somewhat of an evil undertone. "Where's George?"
Clay looked over his shoulder as the blushing mess emerged from the safety of the staircase. He had a hand on his elbow in a flustered manner. A pleading glance was sent between the two boyfriends, but the blond was inclined to torture him a bit more.
"Here," he grumbled. A beat of silence before the riptide of questions rushed in passed.
"Are you guys dating?"
"Did you give him that?"
"You did the dirty, didn't you?"
The last one was totally Sapnap, as the mischievous glint in his smirk said it all.
