The sun shined brightly through the open window onto the pair of boys, both on opposite sides of the bed and mere centimeters from falling off. It was justified, though, respecting the others' boundaries.

Clay yawned, slipping out of bed and creeping towards the door, leaving his roommate preoccupied with sleeping.

He played a little game with himself, tiptoeing down the wooden stairs, focusing on 1) not tripping, and 2) making little to no noise. He was successful in both, and landed on the bottom floor without a noise louder than a mouse.

However, his friends weren't as ignorant as he thought, as they looked over at him and nodded.

"Morning!"

The kindly greeting came from Sapnap, who held out a cup of coffee. "Coffee?"

"Sure," Clay shrugged, taking the mug from his hand and sipping the molten hot lava. He glanced around the kitchen counter where Bad, Ant, and the guy from last night all skipped around, cutting up an arrangement of fruits and pulling pastries out of the cupboard.

Sheepishly, he looked over at Nick, nodding to the guy besides Ant. "Um, who's that?"

Sapnap opened his mouth to announce loudly to everyone that Dream didn't know the boy's name, but at a pleading glance from his best friend, he dropped it. "That's Red- he's Ant's boyfriend."

"Oh, okay. I kinda forget." Dream inhaled a chuckle, sipping the coffee once more as Ant turned to face him.

"Good morning! Would you like anything?" The brown-haired boy nodded towards the counter, filled to the brim with a feast fit for kings. Clay scanned it briefly.

"I'll take a banana, and a muffin, in honor of Bad."

"Muffins!" Bad agreed excitedly, as he plopped a poppy seed muffin onto a paper plate along with a banana, passing it to Ant, who passed it on to Dream.

"Thank you," the blond smiled, and they fell into conversation. Sapnap complained that the lake was too cold, while Bad simply told him 'well, of course it was, it was midnight you muffin!' and Clay laughed at their bickering.

"I'm just saying, I'm not going swimming if its that cold again." Nick threw his hands up into the air, causing everyone to scoff at him in spite.

"Is there anything you'd like to do while we're up here?" Bad asked the group, just as Wilbur joined them from his bedroom. They murmured soft greetings to him.

"I'd like to go tubing, personally." Clay shrugged.

"You're in luck- the neighbor already offered to drive us around on Wednesday, so we can do that then. They have a motor boat and a tube we can use."

"Kayaking?" Clay looked over at Red, who had spoken up. Ant nodded at his side.

"Kayaks are on the dock," the green-eyed brunette confirmed. "We can drive around town as well, but I was thinking we could just do a lake day today?"

"Sounds good!" Nick seemed to have forgotten his vow of not swimming, as he dashed away to get ready for the day. Clay exchanged a quizzical glance with Bad, who just shrugged, since this was something Sapnap pulled quite often.

Dream turned to go up the stairs, no longer playing his silent step game and knocking on his own door.

"All clear!"

Clay snorted. "Why do you say 'all clear'? Makes it sound like you disabled a bomb or something." He raised an eyebrow at George as he shut the door behind him, making his way over to his suitcase.

"I don't know, it's funny." The brunette cleared his throat. "Anyway, what did you guys discuss? What are we doing today?"

"Lake day," he replied simply, holding up his swimming shorts. "Hope you brought a swim suit."
