I've come to meet you, my dear Elizabeth. You never showed up to see me. I've left you this if you'd still love me. - R.

"She was in love." I whispered as I heard footsteps walking down the stairs. "Shit." I hissed then closed the box and set it down. I started walking quickly to the exit.

I was almost there but watched as the little opening slammed closed, leaving me trapped.

"What the fuck!? Violet! Are you okay?" Colby yelled as I heard them trying to get the door to open again. "There's someone down here with me."  I said as the footsteps came closer. "What?!" Sam yelled nervously as I turned around so I could face the stairs.

I quickly turned the flashlight on my phone off but kept recording as I ducked behind a cabinet. The footsteps seemed to be never ending.

"Elizabeth?" A voice asked as I trembled, realizing what was down here wasn't a human. I put my hand over my mouth as the guys scrambled on the other side of the wall.

"Elizabeth...is that you? Have you come to finally see me?" The voice asked as a dull light appeared in front of me. It shimmered into the shape of a man wearing a suit with a fedora, giving him a vintage look.

I tried to stay as quiet as possible as the apparition floated towards me.  I tried to stay calm as my hand was clasped tightly over my mouth.

"I've been waiting for you." He said as I felt the wind blow, causing my hair to flutter out around my shoulders. There was scientifically no way that there would be wind in here. We were completely sealed in the wall.

"Violet! Baby, please answer!" Colby yelled with fear laced in his tone. I wanted to respond to him but I couldn't take my eyes off of the transparent man in front of me.

"Don't be shy. I've been waiting for you." The guy said and floated even closer. I watched as his transparent hand reached out to touch my hair. I didn't know what else to do but scream as loud as I could, hoping it would scare him away.

"Violet!!!! We're getting you out!" Colby yelled as the man in front of me floated closer, resting his hand on my cheek. It was a strange sensation since he couldn't actually touch me. It felt like the wind was hitting just one part of my cheek as I looked up at him with a horrified look in my eyes.

I couldn't even comprehend what was happening before light filled the room again. The man disappeared in front of me as Colby attempted to squeeze through the opening. I tried to stand up but I was still frozen with fear as I stared at the empty spot in front of me.

"Violet, baby look at me." Colby said causing me to snap out of the haze I was in. I looked over at the door to see his head peaking out so he could look at me. "Come on, come to me. You're okay." He cooed as I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

I stood up then scurried over to the door, constantly looking behind me as I did so. When I got to Colby I immediately took the hand he was holding out to me. "You're okay. Let's get you out of here." He soothed as he slid out of the opening so I could get through.

As soon as I was back on the other side of the wall Jake and Corey closed the door. "Are you okay?" Colby asked as he pulled me into a hug. "I think so." I said as I burried my face in his chest.

"What did you see?" Sam asked as Colby tightened his grip on me. "Maybe give her a minute, dude." He said as I shook my head. "No, it's okay. I recorded it." I said then pulled my phone out and handed it to Sam.

Sam, Jake, and Corey gathered around to watch the footage I got as Colby laced his fingers through my hair, keeping me calm.

I was surprisingly already calm though, not really feeling the fear anymore. I knew the spirit I saw wasn't going to hurt me. I knew he was just looking for his lost love, he wasn't bad.

"Holy shit I have chills!" Corey said and pointed to his arm as Sam looked at me with wide eyes. "Are you okay, dude?" He asked as I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm okay..do we have sage? I want to make sure nothing attached itself to me." I asked as Sam nodded. "Yeah, we can go outside and do it." He said and handed me my phone back.

When we got outside I breathed in the crisp night air and felt the weight of the encounter lift off my shoulders.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Colby asked quietly as I nodded. "Yeah, I'm already feeling better. That was crazy." I said with a small laugh as he looked at me with amazement in his eyes.

"You still want to keep going?" Sam asked as he lit the sage up. "Well yeah, I'm not a pussy." I said as Colby laughed.

"You've got a bigger dick than all of us combined." Jake said as I laughed. "That's right. And don't you forget it." I said with a laugh as Sam smudged me with sage.

Once we finished smudging eachother with the sage we went back up to the room so we could relax a little bit.

I could Colby was still a little on edge about the whole situation but I was honestly fine. The spirit didn't want to hurt me.

He just wanted to find his love.
