"FUCK!" I screamed out as I bolted up, rubbing my chest. "Did you have the nightmare?" Colby asked quietly as he put his laptop down on the couch next to him so he could get up.

"Yeah." I breathed out, feeling the frustration boil up again. "Please tell me what it's about." He said and sat next to me, pulling me into his arms. "Colby I-" I started but was interrupted. "Either we talk about the dream or we talk about you drinking by yourself. Your choice." He said as I let out a breath.

"It starts with me in the elevator at the Biltmore...I'm in there alone and it breaks with me in it." I mumbled and looked down as I picked at my nails. "It never crashes against the ground though, I end up in the lobby." I said as he took my hand, stopping me from picking.

"Daisy is there. Every. Single. Time." I said as his jaw clenched. "She shoots my parents....but it's never them. It's you and Sam. Then I wake up." I said as he frowned. "I understand why you were drinking now." He mumbled as I shook my head.

"I shouldn't have...I should have just talked to you. I'm sorry." I said as he kissed the side of my head. "I mean, yeah...but still. That dream sounds horrifying." He said as I nodded. "I wish it would stop." I said and sat up, brushing my hair behind my ears.

"Well...maybe if we go on a hike or something you'll be so exhausted that you won't dream." Colby said as he stood up. "Hmm..I don't know if that's how that works but I want to hike with you." I said and got up.

We both got ready as fast as we could so we could go before the sun set.

"Where are you guys going?" Jake asked as he and Tara filmed in the kitchen. "We're going on a hike." Colby said as he grabbed his keys. "Have fun!" Tara yelled as I giggled and took Colby's hand. "We will!" I said then opened the front door.

"How was filming?" I asked as he took my hand and started to drive to the trail. "Oh...it was fine." He said with a sigh. "Doesn't sound fine.." I said and looked over at him. "It just wasn't what I was expecting." He said and shrugged as I pursed my lips. 

"What did you guys do?" I asked, knowing that I shouldn't be prying. "Just some cooking thing, I don't know. It doesn't matter, I just want to spend time with my beautiful girlfriend." He said and squeezed my hand as I nodded.

"I can do that." I said with a grin then looked out the window. The sun was starting to set which meant we didn't have a lot of time to hike but it didn't matter, any time with Colby was going to be fun.

When we got to the trail we got out and started the hike. "So...how do you feel about meeting my parents?" I asked quietly as he laced his fingers through mine. "It was wild, but I'm glad I got to meet them. They seemed sweet." He said as I nodded.

"I'm glad you got to meet them. They really were the best." I said as he ran his thumb along the back of my hand. "We used to do everything together...they were my best friends. I know I had Daisy and a couple other friends but they were my best friends." I said as I looked up at the sky.

"My mom and I would go on long walks and talk about my future. She was so supportive..like she believed in me more than I believe in myself." I said as he kissed the side of my head.

"Then dad...he would cook with me every night that he was able to. He was always so tired from his job but he never complained. He worked so hard." I said quietly as my heart shattered in my chest a little bit.

"That's where you get it from. They really are with you, V. They always will be." Colby said quietly as I nodded and looked over. "Yeah...thanks for being the reason I stayed." I said and looked over at him.

"I didn't think you were going to come back with me." He admitted as I nodded. "I would never leave you." I said and chewed my lip. "I've never been more in love in my life." I admitted as I looked down.

"I feel the exact same way." Colby said as he stopped and turned me to him. "I'm so in love with you it's not even funny." He said then cupped my cheek and pulled my face to his.

I reacted immediately as I wrapped my arms around his neck, letting him lift me up slightly. I moaned into his mouth as his fingers dug into my hips. There was nothing but love surrounding us in this moment.

I giggled as I pulled away, keeping my fingers laced in his hair. "God, you're beautiful." He breathed out as I grinned and pressed my lips to his again. "No you." I said with a wink as he grabbed my hand. "Whatever, dork. Let's go." He said and started walking up the trail again.

When we got to the top we sat down on one of the benches that overlooked the city of Los Angeles. "I'll never get over this view." I said and looked over at Colby. "Yeah, it's got nothing on you though." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Pack it in Casanova." I said with a laugh as he pulled his phone out. He took a small video of the scenery before panning the camera over to me. I stuck my tongue out ans scrunched my nose as he chuckled and stopped recording. "That's just for me." He said then scooted his feet closer to mine.

"This one is for Instagram." He said then took a picture of our feet together. "Ooo mysterious." I said with a laugh as I leaned on his shoulder. "I'm sure people think we are dating though, Daisy wasnt exactly quiet about it." I said as he laced his fingers through mine.

"They like to think they know things but they don't really know." He said as I nodded and looked out at the view.

We sat and watched the sun set for a while before we made our way back down to the car. "Are you hungry?" Colby asked as we got in the car. "I would kill for a Taco Bell burrito right now." I said and rubbed my stomach. "To Taco Bell we go then." He said with a laugh and took my hand.

As we drove I went on Twitter, just to pass the time. I didn't follow too many people but now that the girls followed me I would see tweets from fans on my timeline. Right now they were all talking about a girl named Jordan. A couple people had even attached the picture of Colby's Instagram story of our feet.

"Hey, babe?" I asked as he hummed and looked over at me for a second. "Who's Jordan?" I asked as he tensed up. "Why are you asking that?" He asked as my heart cracked slightly. "I keep seeing fan tweets about someone named Jordan..they think my feet are hers." I said quietly as he pulled my hand into his lap.

"Don't worry about her, V. Please don't worry about her." He begged as I pulled my hand away from his. "Well I am worrying about her...A-are you cheating on me?" I asked as my heart cracked even more.

"No. No! I'm not cheating on you, Vi. Jordan is my ex girlfriend. She was in the video we filmed today and she posted on her story a picture of us while we were filming. People are just shipping us, she means nothing to me." Colby explained rapidly. "Promise?" I asked as I looked over at him.

"I promise, Violet. I promise." He said as I nodded and held my hand out to him again. I heard him sigh with relief as he took my hand, pulling it into his lap.

I tried to not be jealous or insecure but cheating was the one thing I wouldn't be able to handle. It was the lowest blow you could do in a relationship.

It would break me.

We ordered our Taco Bell then drove back to the house. "Are you mad?" Colby asked after a couple minutes of silence. "No, I'm not mad. Unless you did something." I said with a shrug. "I didn't, I swear." He said as I chuckled. "I believe you, babe. You don't have to worry." I said as he sighed and pulled into the driveway.

We got inside and went up to Colby's room so we could watch a movie and eat our Taco Bell. I knew I believed that he didn't do anything with that Jordan girl, but it still felt weird knowing that she was around again.

I could feel myself putting my guard up again.
