Chapter 1; New year, fresh start

It's 2015!! And I'm so not in the mood for school after a long holiday of 2 months... *sigh* I'll just go wash up no matter what..

I'm an introvert because in the past, I had a best friend, but she betrayed me and made me bear all the consequences of her actions.. She changed my life after she made rumours against me. She was the one who was jealous of a pretty girl in school and she wanted her boyfriend... so she secretly physically bullied her a lot, until she committed suicide. And then she pushed the blame to me and made everyone think that I was the one who caused the girl's death. From then on, I changed from a cheerful and approachable character, to someone who don't dare to open up to anyone because I was afraid that they will hurt me once we get close... Whatever, why am I thinking of her. She's not worth my time.

/In School/

Year 2 class 3.... Year 2 class 3. Found it! I walked into the class and some girls smiled at me. Of course I smiled back since I wasn't the unfriendly type even though I'm quite an introvert. Yeap, I don't really like to talk. I live by plugging into my earpiece, listening to kpop wherever I go, and reading fanfics. But I'll still smile to those who smile to me, and talk to those who talk to me. I dislike dresses, skirts, heels and makeups. I don't know why, I just find them uncomfortable and inconvenient.

Today is the first day of school... and I'm already tired... [A/N Any readers feeling like that too? :( ]

Its 8am, the teacher walked in and told us to come up one by one to introduce ourself. She pointed to me and asked me to start since I was sitting at the corner all the way to the left but at the front since I can't see the board clearly from behind :/

I reluctantly walked up, bowed 90°, and said, "Annyeonghaseyo, Jung JiEun ibnida. (Hello I'm Jung JiEun) Nice to meet all of you, hope we will have fun together in the coming year. Please take care of me *smiles*" Some boys whistled and I just smile politely to them even though I wanted to roll my eyes because I refuse attention, but since its the first day, I should be polite at least for once.

After the booooring introduction, we had one free period to get to know each other better. But before that, the teacher changed our seating arrangement. She read out the pairs and then here comes mine. "Jung JiEun, Jeon Jungkook." I looked around to see who Jungkook is, and this guy walked up nonchalantly and sat down beside me. (imagine you're sitting down with the window to your left and Jungkook sits to your right.) Both of you didn't say hi, probably because both of you were the quiet type until you know each other well.

A few days later, a guy came to me to pass me a bottle during break time and said, "I prepared orange juice for you.. drink it.. " he smiled shyly and I just gave him a smile out of courtesy and did my own work. I was tired of doing my work so I opened the bottle of orange juice that the guy gave me.

All of a sudden, Jungkook said "don't drink it." I jumped a bit because I was shocked, but I just stared at him for a moment. "What? Why?" I asked. "Just don't drink it." He said. I was confused... he didn't give me a reason so I didn't bother much and just drank it. I can sense that Jungkook is staring at me.... I didn't like it. I feel like I'm spied on... I would appreciate if he stops staring, but I still have to go on with lessons so I just shook the thought off and listened to the teacher.

Suddenly, I felt giddy. I couldn't concentrate on the board and everything's spinning around me.. and then I leaned on someone and was engulfed in darkness.

Jungkook's POV

I told her not to drink but she didn't believe me. Alright then have fun fainting. That guy is known for his actions. He always spikes other's drinks, especially for girls he think is pretty. I just shrugged at Jieun and continued with lesson. Out of nowhere, something knocked against my shoulder and stayed there. I turned to look at Jieun and she was on my shoulder. DID SHE FAINT? SEE I TOLD YOU SHE'LL FAINT. HAH GOOD JOB FOR NOT BELIEVING ME JUNG JIEUN THIS IS YOUR RETRIBUTION. But okay I shall bring her to the clinic in school. I raised my hand and informed the teacher, "Mr Kim, Jieun fainted and I need to bring her to the clinic!" "Alright please take care of her." He replied. I carried Jieun on my back with everyone in the class staring and dashed out of the class to the clinic. I laid her down on the bed and asked the nurse to do something about it. The nurse then gave her an injection to dilute the drug so that she will wake up. (I don't know the procedures, I'm just making this up haha don't mind me if it's wrong okay :) )
